Sorry for the lack of an update, took a sick day today. Starting next phase tomorrow.

Pelkin manages to wound the creature, his baned weapon going through its natural resistances, but its thick hide is too much for the blade to sever an organ at this time. Meanwhile, Velidor, Lore, and Amarthecthel free themselves from the vine growth!
Twigg Escape Artist: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
The sorceror, though, finds himself still stuck!
More later!

GM BPChocobo TK1 |

Mexel, meanwhile, gets up and moves to engage the foe on Twigg's command.
The tiger-man snarls, before taunting Pelkin in a familiar voice. "You will make a delicious meal, my pointy-eared friend!"
The voice is very similar to the hermit at the shrine you passed earlier today.
He then nimbly moves away from Amarthecthel to keep near Pelkin, rears up and swings at half-elf multiple times!
Despite the now dense vegetation, he moved quite well through it. He must have either some nature abilities or training to move through difficult terrain with ease.

Pelkin Fort on hit: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 11 + 1 = 31
With uncanny ferocity, Pelkin is severely mauled by the weretiger, nearly sending him to unconsciousness!

GM BPChocobo TK1 |

@Velidor: Only a single shot since you don't have Quick Draw to grab your weapon as a free action. Plus side, the lack of a rapid shot penalty narrowly caused a hit!
Velidor fires a silver round, the weretiger narrowly failing to dodge it in time.

GM BPChocobo TK1 |

@Pelkin: You are correct, those bonus dice are not multiplied on a crit
The overwhelming amount of firepower the party directs at the escaping weretiger thoroughly and completely slays him.
On his scorched and severed body are:
- masterwork composite longbow (+3 Str)
- 2x masterwork kukri
- a potion of fly
- a wand of cure light wounds (15 charges remaining)
- a cloak of elvenkind
- a ring of protection +1
- thoroughly destroyed leather armor :p
After another nearly half an hour, the vegetation around the camp finally goes back to normal, although Balo is still somewhat shaken, although grateful to the party's combat prowess again. "I have seen tiger attacks before, but never like that!"

"That was no mere tiger...the wand should come in handy" the tracker says to the others and then begins checking the area for more intruders...

Pelkin eyes the bow, then decides its no better than the one he owns. He then looks at the potion and says, This could be useful to you, Twigg, if you ever find the need to fly out of trouble.
Outside of the wand, Pelkin doesn't seem interested in anything else. We can sell the other items. For now, lets get some rest.

Nope, just gonna rest up and move out in the morning.

After another half-day of travel, the party finally sees what they presume to be Leckumgee. The steep, heavily vegetated hillside opens out onto a small village, each of its roughly twenty huts raised on tall stilts. Goats, pigs, and other animals stand tethered or in pens. A few people are out and about, several smiling at you as you approach before Balo slows down the elephants and helps the party off of the mahoots.
A middle aged woman approaches the party and speaks out in Vudrani; Balo happily plays interpreter for you. "This woman, Shreya, is the leader of the village. She wishes to greet you, offer you feed for the animals, a dinner to celebrate you as guests, and a place to stay for the night."

![]() |

As long as this isn't a colony of lycanthropes, we can accept.

GM BPChocobo TK1 |

Balo translates and Shreya raises an eyebrow, but smiles. "None of those here. Such strange travels you have had."
She then asks, through Balo, "Which caste are each of you." Balo answers, Shreya nodding approvingly, but awaits the party's responses.

![]() |

"My upbringing made no mention of castes. I am a hunter and a warrior. I will let you decide."
