Yup, no WotW Player's Guide. Unfortunately all the stuff that players need to know is towards the end of the first adventure book. Hey, Korak, think you could type up the different Crime Traits and stuff?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Hit the link on the word "campaign" in the opening post, guys.

They are up on d20pfsrd.

This looks interesting. I have an concept for a Cleric that I will put together. He would begin as a 1 Aristocrat/1 Adept who would transition into a Cleric as the story progresses. Would it be possible to use the Unholy Barrister Cleric Archetype?

Hungh, I thought all of the AP's had a player's guide. Whelp, live and learn.

There is a Player's Guide for sure. Korak's OP has a link to it.

Oh yeah, I'm reading it now. But it is 3rd party. I had assumed paizo had an official one for the AP.

Korak, I was thinking like the theme. humble beginning. I will try better tonight.

Kokyu, trying to tie yourself to Storyteller? I had some trouble reading what you wrote, (possibly cause I'm still waking up) but it sounded as though you didn't commit a crime and your not at fault, the big thing about this is yes, you are a criminal, no frame jobs, no misunderstandings.

Unholy Barrister approved, you realize that's actually from this adventure path yeah?

Way of the wicked is a 3rd party AP.

Yep. I have applied to this AP before where the DM didn't allow it however, so I just wanted to be sure. I will get a character put together as soon as I can.

DM Korak, I wish to introduce you to Thanurtha Half-elven, a young half-elf with a twisted mind and darker ambitions.

Looks good Waskally, but one I'd appreciate if you could name your grandfather and two why don't you have 2 traits?

It was my understanding you only wanted one trait from the campaign description. I will give Thanurtha another trait, and name his grandfather.

it said 1 campaign trait 1 choice.

Done, Korak.

Alright looks good.

Alright, I'll leave it to you but as a cleric who have some serious warrior training behind them I'd suggest a level of that but that's my opinion, adept works fine. Crunch looks good. Post when you have some flavor as that will most likely be the determining factor once I've got you guys separated into roles.

So I am building up my familiar for my goblin wizard and I chose to use the bat, reflavoured slightly to be a miniature flying goblin (also need to ask you if this minor reskin is OK), only to realize that he can't talk D:
So question. Do I have to change from a bat to a Parrot to get speech or can my bat-goblin talk?
And the +3 to fly skills will be super useful... Roll eyes...

Reskin is fine, He can torment you in more physical ways until he can speak, or you can use parrots, or you could do improved familiar for an imp, Never mind levels there.

Dot for interest

Just realized I too failed to take a second trait.

Second Trait:
I will take - Accelerated Drinker. You may drink a potion as a move action instead of a standard action as long as you start your turn with the potion in your hand. Source: Pathfinder Companion: Cheliax, Empire of Devils.

cool

Doh! I actually never realized that.

Hello Korak.

This is dathom and I am submitting Lukasz Alazario for your review. The character sheet can be found in this profile. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Alright looks good. For everybody who's finished I'd like to see just a minor weigh in that includes npc classes, pc classes and link so that I can begin sorting them out.

Bleepos Droppo is Warrior 1 / Expert 1. Well, he's very much a goblin pirate, so you can see where I'm coming from. The class he will be developing in is Stalker, from Path of War (using the Vigilante archetype from Path of War Expanded, which makes him a little more "roguish", with trapfinding and whatnot). So to start the list:

Bleepos Droppo - Warrior 1/Expert 1 - Stalker (Vigilante)

Ego Mortenson is an Adept 2, heading towards Witch-hood.

Melee
Bleepos Droppo is Warrior 1 / Expert 1. Stalker/Vigilante Path of War

Arcane
Ego Mortenson Adept 2, Witch

Ego, what will be your focus as a class, I know you're planning on deriving a mechanical advantage from eating people but what else so I know what role you would play in the party?

Lukasz Alazario is an Aristocrat 1 / Adept 1 who will transition into the Unholy Barrister Archetype Cleric class with the possibility of multi-classing into the Diabolist prestige class later on. His main role would be as a support caster/healer and he will have some debuffing capabilities.

Dexter Quigley Expert 2. Arcanist Class. Role Trapsmith Item and Weapon creator for the group.

Uh, I was just asking Ego for the role because the only thing I knew was he wanted to be Hannibal Lecter.

Sczarni

I want to make something for this. I was thinking Goblin even before I saw that everyone else wanted to be.

go for it. I am by no means finalizing selection, just organizing.

Sczarni

Will the vampire feats be available? What about the lich?

Korak The Boisterous wrote:

My personal motivation was in part to get some use out of the hexes that are usually off limits.

In terms of a party role I would say mostly debuffing, buffing, and melee, with a little bit of battlefield control and healing. I eventually want to get some mileage out of Hex Strike.

Wondering monster, I don't have all the books yet so I have no knowledge of the lich other than it appears, I've seen the feat chain and in fact already mentioned it in case anybody was interested.

Ego, thanks. Just needed to know.

I only know that there is an option to become a lich in a later book. I have never gotten to play Way of the Wicked. I have submitted to it a few times but never gotten picked for a game.

well keep in mind, while I am trying to fill roles, your story is a LOT more important to me.

Sczarni

I am playing around with the idea of a Drow mesmerist who manipulates those around him, to commit murder for him. Probably Adept1/Expert1

The wild babe

commoner 1 / warrior 1 Should become a anti-paladin.

new background:
All his life, Babe shoveled s@*% in the stables. Raised in foster care (even in this "perfect" world, people abandon their children), she was the scapegoat of his brothers and adoptive sisters. Not with physical violence, that their parents would still acted on, but the more insidious words. "You do not have enough control over you, your orc blood going all out break, you stink or you do amount to anything in life. Soon, she used her appearance to be left alone ... and to convince someone to do her tasks in her place. At school, she was always suspected of being guilty of something even when it was not her. To chase her frustrations, she began capturing and dissecting animals.
Her dream in life was to be a Paladin to smite anyone did him wrong.

But in assessments, they immediately sent her away. Supposedly, she was too scary and angry.

This new defeat made her want to break everything. She went to an inn and began to hit with a chair all who looked on wrong, that is to say everyone. The guards soon arrived stopping her.

The trial was swift and just. Nobody was dead and it was her first offense. 1 year in prison. Inside well, happy fools of their condition have tried to show her that speaking freely with her fists was wrong. Babar said what they wanted to hear it and it was a penalty was reduced by third.

In search of work, she discovered that being a former prisonnier half-orc create little chance to be hired by an employer. The only job was offered to work was in the stables and do dirty work or... something else who was for the lowest in society. All day long, she lifted heavy bag of oats and cleaned the stables. The smell never removed from her. At first, it was difficult, but gradually as her muscles begun to grow, the task becames easier. Some nobles even came to ask her to be in bed with them so they took advantage of her savagery.
Disgusted to see a humiliating vision of her, she threatened them to do something not nice to a part of their anatomy if they still approached her with their sense of superiority. They never returned.

Soon, her orc blood woke up and had the taste to fight again. His colleagues told her about an illegal arena. In a few months, Babe became the champion using only a stick. Although, she was able over time to handle various types of weapons and armor. But she never had wear those "sexys" armors. With the brutality of her fighting, she was nicknamed The wild Babe. Babe really did not like her nickname. It was demeaning. She would have rather liked the champion.

On the eve of a major battle, for against, She was arrested. The arena was discovered. Babar tried to resist arrest with her stick, but she realized that being the champion of a dingy arena was worthless against the traîned type.

Prison for 20 years this time.

Inside the prison, her admirers had spread the nickname. Babe realized that those actions had led her there. The Law and Order that governed this world had made sure she would be considered a savage if she still act like that.

Well, Babe decided she will no longer act like a savage now. She worked in the kitchen and became a model prisoner. Babe discovered that she loved the order that prevailed in the prison. It did her good. The nickname disappears. A priest would have said it was redemption.

But fate can took an evil thurn. The prison director had a son who was in the arena and was killed. Since Babar was the champion, she must have surely killed him. (that was not true)

While Babar was in the principal's office, the latter told him that she will remains in her life in prison and that no matter her manners, Babe always remain a savage.

This word cracked Babe. She understood then that no matter what she do in this world, she will still be considered a barbarian. The only way to prevent that was to have more power and to create a new order. It was necessary to frighten and dominate like when she was little. Babe had just find a target to start her plan. Soon enough, she took the great ax that was on the wall and fell upon the director. Surprised, the director received a blow to the chest. Babe was quickly put down, but to see the look of fear in the eye of the director was enough.

Leekoo, Goblin Expert, planning to go into Alchemist(Winged Marauder/Grenadier).

Melee
Bleepos Droppo is Warrior 1 / Expert 1. Stalker/Vigilante Path of War

Babe commoner 1 / warrior 1 Anti-paladin

Arcane
Ego Mortenson Adept 2, Witch

Support
Dexter Quigley Expert 2. Artificer

Lukasz Alazario Aristocrat 1 / Adept 1 Unholy Barrister Archetype Cleric healer

Leekoo, Goblin Expert, planning to go into Alchemist(Winged Marauder/Grenadier). Bomber

That be the problem with some of the newer classes. They don't tend to fit as neatly in niches. Still, were I not waiting for others I'd say this looks like a pretty solid team right here.

Alright all, here be my official ruling on

Occult:
I'm too lazy to read them right now, go for it and let's hope it doesn't break anything if selected.

Dexter's Profile.

Babe, just to point it out as it later on becomes very clear, Babe is referred to as both male and female in the beginning of her background. I don't really care if you fix it or not, But to be clear, if you killed this guy, you have been transferred to Brandescar, nothing I've seen has mentioned another prison, but I don't discount it's existence since Brandescar is considered for the worst of the worst.

I killed all traces of Babar. This pig has returned to the dump. As for this little director, he's still alive! But he was a priest so...

I don't mind he is dead but i want the trait attempted murder.for intimidation but i could just change the traits. It will be my lost but it okay

Ah I misread, attempted murder it is.

Forgot to ask, can we take a drawback for another trait?

no
