Fenster looks around a bit puzzled. "Now that you ask. I don't know why I'm here. I guess it is because of Atlatia here."
"What are you doing to her? She is my friend." Fenster says becoming angry.
"Your friend? Oh. What are you doing to her? She's his friend!" Niamh asks the others.
"Oh, sorry. If we knew this earlier we wouldn't have done that. Let me just put her in her bed so she can rest a bit." Tauriell says picking up the small derro and lays her in the bed covering her with a blanket.
Tauriell takes her dagger and puts it through the derro's heart.
"Gwenhwyfar can check on her and maybe heal her."
"Come Fenster. She needs to rest. The best would be to let her here in silence for a while. Don't you think?" Niamh tells him and takes his hand to turn him around to go.
Fenster willingly follows Niamh out of the room.
"Where to go now?" Niamh asks noone specific.
Gwenhwyfar comes in to see whom she should check on. Taking a look at her and pulling the blanket back she sees the wound and covers her mouth with her hand to suppress the shriek. She gives Tauriell a glare.
"What should I say to Fenster now?"
"I don't care. Tell him she'll be fine tomorrow." Tauriell replies. "Or tell him I killed her. But wait with that until I'm behind him."
"Remind me not to upset you" Abomentolor jokes.
"I don't know. Can we get out of this back to open air?" Fenster asks.
"Oh, don't worry. You won't get such a quick and painless death." Tauriell replies to Abomentolor with a grin.
"Do you know the way out? I have to stay with the others to take care of them. If not you could also just stay with us until we go out. But that could take a while longer." Niamh explains.
Gwenhwyfar doesn't think that this is funny at all. She gives Tauriell another glare and leaves the room.
"I have no idea where to go out. I guess I will stay with you then." Fenster says with a wide smile showing his rotten teeth.
"If, if you really want to go out I could lead you..." Niamh says obviously grudgingly. "But if you're happy with coming with us I'm pleased to have you here!" She adds more enthusiastic.
Past the room of the now dead derro the corridor continues and leads to a prison cell block. A curved hallway stretches to the left and right, with stone cell doors lining the inner wall.
“Morning Dove” Mordove, a former prima donna of the Triodea who retains her connections to the city’s artistic elite. She runs the Gilded Cage, one of the best known nightspots. A garish gambling den and club built into the face of the Seacleft.
Niamh tries to open the first door. With no success. "Would you please wait. I'm back in a few moments." Niamh says.
Fenster sits down and replies "I'll be here."
Tauriell checks the room for valuables.
"Thank you." Niamh replies and disappears into the room she came from. "Tauriell! How long do you want to stay here? Until you're dead? I need you! Come on." And with a look to Jimmy she adds "Please."
Atlatia keeps several mind-altering substances in a chest near her bed. Within are 3 doses of id moss, 2 doses of striped toadstool, 10 doses of f layleaf, 8 doses of pesh, an elixir of love, and an elixir of truth.
"I am following now." Jimmy says to Niamh. Turning to Gwen as he leaves, "What is happening? You look mad?"
Tauriell replies in an annoyed tone "Give me a minute here. No need to hurry this." She packs all the vials and cans in her backpack and then follows Niamh.
"What is so important?"
"You have to open that door for me." Niamh replies and points on the door.
"You need a concierge?" Tauriell asks. She then tries to open the door for Niamh. "Sorry to disappoint you, but it is locked. You won't have the key by chance?"
Niamh rolls her eyes and sighs. "Don't play fatuitous. I know you're smart enough to know what I mean!"
"Tauriell stabbed that derro to death in cold blood while unconscious and lied to Fenster about me healing her later. And now I have to lie to Fenster, or she is going to kill him too!" Gwenhwyfar whispers not to be heard by Fenster.
Tauriell grins and takes out her 'keys'.
"Someone paid quite a sum to make sure these stay closed." Tauriell says again taking the door at the handle and opening it with a bow for Niamh to walk in.
"Fenster, I guess it would be the best for you if you would stay away here, okay?" Niamh says and then looks at Tauriell with a grin. "I REALLY thank you for opening that door for me." And with that she looks into the 'room'.
"To do that she will have to go through me." Jimmy says with a smile at Gwen
"Has someone some clothes for a normal sized naked woman left?" Niamh asks looking at the floor.
"If you two would use your head to think instead of only as a rack for your beautiful hair you'd find the flaw in your logic." Tauriell grumbles at Jimmy and Gwenhwyfar.
"Ask Gwenhwyfar. I think she is normal sized and she carries some spare clothes." Tauriell replies to Niamh while looking interested at the woman.
"Look at that. Mrs. Jayleen Mordove. Am I right?"
"Gwenhwyfar? Would you lend her some clothes? Then I wouldn't have to look at the floor anymore." Niamh asks Gwenhwyfar.
As she realizes that it is not the derros that open the door her fear is replaced by shame and she turns beet red. "Yes you're right. Will you bring me out of here, back to the city?" She tries to hide all sensitive parts with her arms.
Gwenhwyfar is aghast. She takes one of her dresses out of the backpack and hands it to the woman. She then ushers Tauriell away from the door and closes the door a bit. "Give her some privacy, will you?"
She already forgot about the insult.
"What is our fee for saving? Or is it charity week again?" Tauriell asks Jimmy.
"I have money. I can pay you if you bring me home." Mrs. Mordove replies from inside the cell.
"I'm sure you don't need any more than you have already. If she wants to give us anything she is welcome to."
Niamh gives Tauriell a glare. "You don't like doing things for OTHERS if you don't have any advantage, right?"
"You're lucky. It's charity again. But this elf here would be thankful for every donation you're willing to make." Tauriell says to Mrs. Mordove.
"That is not true. At least not always." Tauriell replies to Niamh.
Niamh raises her brows. "If you say so...
Mrs. Mordove comes out of the cell in Gwenhwyfara dress. "Where are these horrid small people that brought me here?" she asks worried that they might appear any moment again.
"Two of them are dead and on ewe put to sleep in her bed" Tauriell replies.
"And the fourth? That crazy woman that seems to lead this horror here?" Mrs. Mordove asks her fear reappearing.
"That sounds like we missed one." Tauriell replies. "What is in the other cells?" she asks and stars trying the doors.
As the next door is locked she opens it with her tools.
"That is not nice to lock these doors with such good locks."
The third door is unlocked, but the fourth resists again.
And the last one is another challenge.
"Tadaa!" Tauriell says. "All doors unlocked now. Who wants to check what's behind?"
Niamh looks into one cell after the other. "All right. We need another dress and two clothes for men." Niamh orders looking at Gwenhwyfar and Jimmy.
Gwenhwyfar hands another dress to Niamh. "I'm sorry but I have no more clothes."
Niamh walks into the cell with the woman in it and knees beside her. She lays the dress down next to her and starts healing the woman.
