Skaar |

Alright, I'll hold back on the mythic power usage this turn.

Skaar |

S3. He'll also step back to G24.

Corda Tollit |

Corda decided to give Skaar a bit more of an edge. Taking a quick deep breathe, she said, "Hhako u Khokmhanrh."
Cast Boiling Blood: +2 Strength for as long as I concentrate +1 round/level.

GM Henry Fortuna |

The struck skeleton swings at Skaar.
S3 AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20; Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
The shambling bones move up and continue their assault, attempting to maintain their tactical advantage.

The skeletons continue to wear down the orc with a few attacks.
Round 3: Mythical Skeletons, Corda, Skaar

Skaar |

Skaar grunts as more of the skeleton's attacks score his thick hide causing thin lines of blood to trickle down his rippling torso.
The big orc roars as Corda's spell boils his blood causing the massive slabs of sinew in his arms to swell with additional power when he strikes again.
Smash: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 1 = 30
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Smash: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 11 + 1 = 27
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Surging with superhuman power, the hulking greenskin moves as a blur as he steps over and strikes again.
Fleet Charge: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Starting with the damaged one and then moving to S2.

GM Henry Fortuna |

I'm assuming Corda concentrates for her action.
Skaar smashes another of the skeletons to bits, the one to his side having only a moment to retaliate before being smashed as well.
S2's AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25; Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18; Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1) + 4 = 7
The remaining skeleton continues to attack the orc.
S1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11; miss
S1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16; uses surge
S1 Surge: 1d6 ⇒ 5; Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Round 4: Mythic Skeleton, Corda, Skaar

Skaar |

Skaar whips his mace overhead and tries to finish the last skeleton.
Smash: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Skaar |

Skaar grips his mace tightly and grunts like an animal after the last foe falls. The boiling blood continues to thunder in his veins.
"Is it... over?" he growls.

Corda Tollit |

Floating down from above, Corda looks at Skaar's wounds. "My love, are you hurt badly?" Not waiting for an answer, she put her hands on his chest. "Tomha'g guunrakk gagg."
Cast Cure Moderate Wounds.

Skaar |

Maybe it's one of those things where there is no translation.
Skaar's breathing slows as his blood cools and his wounds mend.
"My people's language, ya speak it better than I do", he says. "You sure you don't got a little orc in you?"

Skaar |

Did you want me to roll it?

Skaar |

"I'll just have to fix that then", he adds with a barking laugh and a meaty swat on her rear.
"Let's look around. Those deadmen musta been guarding somethin'"
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Skaar |

How much daylight do we have left?

Skaar |

"Let's do so more explorin' while we got light", Skaar says while subconsciously gripping Hanely's mace and wishing for succor.
CCW: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (2, 7, 8) + 6 = 23
Heading up to the T and then north. Along the way, Skaar looks for any debris that will make good fodder for a campfire.

Skaar |

Skaar studies the gates and then the room in general.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Any traps or ways to open them?

Skaar |

Or find the switch located elsewhere...
Skaar returns to the T and heads east.

Skaar |

North

GM Henry Fortuna |

Heading north, you enter another large chamber, this one occupied by a minotaur. The bones of other minotaurs lie strewn about him. "Ха, един нарушител!"
The creature stands to its full-height and wrenches a greataxe from the ground near him.
Initiative:
Minotaur: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Skaar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Corda: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Round 1: Skaar, Corda, Minotaur

Skaar |

"The minotaur!" Skaar growls.
Once again surging with incredible power, the hulking orc rushes the bullman and throws a solid hook.
Move action to sheath the mace.
Fleet Charge: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 1 = 23
Damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
With his opponent reeling, Skaar lunges for its horns.
Grapple: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

Skaar |

I hope Corda's prepared for a show...

GM Henry Fortuna |

As Skaar rushes the minotaur, the beast brings its greataxe about to attack the oncoming orc.
AoO: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22; Damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6) + 6 = 21
Corda begins her chant after Skaar gives the minotaur a solid wallop to the side of its head. The minotaur attempts to break free to the orc's grasp.
CM: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13; fail
Round 2: Skaar, Corda, Minotaur

Skaar |

Does he have combat reflexes or something? I thought Skaar beat him on initiative?

Skaar |

Duly noted. Also, ouch.
Skaar grunts as the minotaur's brutal weapon is buried deep in his side but secures his grip all the same.
With a roar, the hulking orc flexes and brings his arms in tighter, pinning the minotaur in place.
Spend a Ki to hulk out for more strength.
Pin: 1d20 + 16 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 16 + 5 = 25
Haste x3
Ki x1
Mythic Power x2

Corda Tollit |

When the Elemental appears, Corda says, "Ettefb tro Vajiteul."
Moving up behind the Orc, she said, "Tomha'g guunrakk gagg."
CLW: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

GM Henry Fortuna |

I'm fairly sure the elemental gets an attack at this point.
Corda touches Skaar and heals some of his wounds. The minotaur again tries to break the grip of the orc.
CM: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
The minotaur manages to flex its muscles and shake Skaar off.
Round 3: Skaar, Corda (plus attack from the water elemental from Round 2), Minotaur

Skaar |

Impressed by the bull's strength, Skaar lunges again from another angle.
Grapple: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26
"Come on then", he taunts. "Fight me like a man."

Corda Tollit |

The Elemental swung at the Minotaur with all of it's might.
Round 2 Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Just in case, Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
And again.....
Round 3 Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Just in case, again, Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
-------------------------------------------------------------
Corda decided to stay out of Skaar's way. She pulled her wand and touched him with it.
Wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Skaar |

Skaar’s massive frame flexes as he match’s the minotaur’s might. He cinches an arm under the bull’s torso and squeezes his furry ribcage and back with titanic force.
Spending a second ki to keep the strength bonus going.
Grapple for Damage: 1d20 + 16 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 16 + 5 = 30
Damage: 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (5, 5) + 12 = 22
Hope this is living up to Corda's fantasies. =P

Skaar |

With unyielding strength, Skaar continues to crush the bull in his mighty arms.
Grapple for Damage: 1d20 + 16 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 16 + 5 = 38
Damage: 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 4) + 12 = 19

GM Henry Fortuna |

The minotaur collapses, bellowing out a mighty roar as its organs are crushed, its ribs serving as an iron maiden. Surprisingly, this final roar is returned from somewhere else in the labyrinth, more savage and bestial than the one let loose by foe Skaar just defeated. Within seconds, you hear the sound of iron being pounded on.
Combat Over?

Skaar |

Skaar drops his broken opponent and catches his breath only to look with surprise to Corda.
"There's more than one of these things?"
