Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

Round 1
Init 13

Phaedra bursts into a rousing song of battle as she moves up to threaten the dwarf.

Raging it:
Inspired Rage (Su) At 1st level, affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +1 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.

Male Elf Fighter (Tactician) : 2 HP 12/18 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | Fort+4 Ref +3 Will+0 | Initiative +6 | Perception +6

Initiative : 23

I sigh deeply as negotiations seem to have failed, so I move towards the Dwarf and bring my sword down on top of him.

Falchion attack : 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7

But the Dwarf brings his shield up quickly and deflects the blow.

Round 1

The Grease spell drops under the two longsword-wielding humans.

Reflex 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Reflex 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Both of the two of them tumble to the ground and then attempt to stand up and move out of the area. While successful, they spend their entire turn just edging out of the slippery territory.

Acrobatics 1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Acrobatics 2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

The dwarf takes a swing at the elf in front of him. Apparently, absurdly lucky, he knocks the elf unconscious with one swing of his hammer.

Warhammer: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Crit Damage: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (5, 6) + 2 = 13

The two archers open fire, one at Phaedra, the other at Baolus. The one firing at Baolus grazes him at the same time that Baolus's own arrow strikes the archer in the chest, damaging him severely. The archer firing on Phaedra is much less lucky and his shot flies wide.

Phaedra:
Longbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Baolus:
Longbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1

Have Esken and Aeliana in round 1, but feel free to start posting round 2 actions as well. and yes, I cringed when I previewed the crit.

ROUND 1

Aeliana Init: 17
Initiative, Voltaire: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

"Volt, the swordsman!"
Aeliana shouted all the words the panther needed to hear. The cat rushed to one of the men stuck in grease and got ready to sink in his fangs.

Bite Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Aeliana aimed her longbow at one of the archers just as Voltaire bounded from her side.

Round 1
Initiative 17

I don't think you fellows heard me properly, let me try speaking with you one on one.

Esken attempts to hex the dwarf with misfortune.

Male Elf Fighter (Tactician) : 2 HP 12/18 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | Fort+4 Ref +3 Will+0 | Initiative +6 | Perception +6

I feel the sharp and intense pain as the Dwarf manages to knock my feet from underneath me and smash his hammer down onto my chest. I gasp for air, trying to focus beyond the pain and then black out.

I open my eyes and find myself standing in an alley back in Westcrown, I walk down the alley as if back on patrol. I rattle a few doors to make sure that they are locked when I see a shining white figure walking towards me ... I run. For some unexplainable reason I feel as though I am being filled with warmth and peace, yet at the same time a pure dread of this being catching up to me. For now I put all of my energy into running and I seem to be making some distance between us.

And especially since the one hit was so absurd, let me roll for misfortune and we'll see if we can't just rewind time to get our elf back.

Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

New Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
New Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Turns out the unconscious elf was all just a big hallucination and instead Rona just takes 7 points of damage. And we all breathe a sigh of relief. And are glad that the one roll I apparently roll badly for NPCs is that Will Save.

Edit:

The combined fire from Baolus and Aeliana is able to fell one of the archers who falls to the ground with a thump.

Male Elf Fighter (Tactician) : 2 HP 12/18 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | Fort+4 Ref +3 Will+0 | Initiative +6 | Perception +6

I see a door and dive through it into the dark room on the other side, to find myself blinking in the light and back in front of the bandits.

"What was that?!" I suddenly remember that we are in a scuffle and try to take the Dwarf down. "Just knock them out, we can question and arrest them!"

Falchion Attack (Non-Lethal) : 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 - 4 = 4

The strange memory of what has just happen has still shaken me up a bit and my attack is slow and almost sluggish. I start to breath heavily in pain winces with each breath.

What the hell is going on with my poor rolls, this is not looking good!

Though it wouldn't have turned a 4 into a hit, do remember that everyone has the option (on a round-by-round basis) to use the Inspired Rage song that is currently being sung.

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

Round 1
Init 13

Free action to continue singing.

Phaedra swings her glaive at the dwarf.

ROUND 2

Voltaire Init: 20
Aeliana Init: 17

Aeliana winces at Rona's shouting. She had already set loose an arrow upon the opponent without even thinking to use the blunt ones, but it was too late to go back. It is kill or be killed now, and none of her companions will die on her watch.

She makes haste to aim her next arrow at the other archer.

Longbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6

Voltaire makes his next attempt at biting the swordsman, however, this time he slightly moves with the rhythm of a song.

Round 2: Initiative 6

If there are still enemies unengaged in melee, Baolus will shot at him, if not he will draw his greataxe with Quick Draw and charge a target.

Baolus heard Rona's words but decided that they needed not many mouths to speak... one enemy alive should be enough, and he would not try not to harm them if they were doing so much effort to kill them.

Attack (Longbow): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Round 2: Initiative 28

Ihon mutters a few arcane words and throws his arm forward. What looks to be a small ball of water flies forward towards one of the archers.

Attack (touch): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Cover or melee engagement not accounted for.
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2 Acid

Round 2

Phaedra's attack just barely glances off of the dwarf's shield and he is able to rebuff Rona's attack as well. The swordsman engaged with the large cat seems quite quick as well, once again dodging out of the way of the blow.

Evil Eye Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7

The rather dodgy swordsman seems to take the full brunt of the witch's hex and seems a bit less able to move as he attempts to strike back at the cat in front of him.

Longsword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Meanwhile Ihon and Aeliana strike out at the remaining archer, leaving her wounded but still standing as Baolus's arrow goes wide. The archer fires back at Aeliana in response.

Longbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6

The swordsman not engaged with Voltaire moves up to assist the dwarf, taking a swing at Phaedra.

Longsword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

The dwarf is still focused on his elven foe, swinging at him with his warhammer.

Warhammer: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Warhammer (reroll): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

You guys should recruit this dwarf. His crit rate is literally 100% without debuffs!

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

Phaedra continues her song, trying to ignore the swordsman swinging at her while she focuses her concentration on the deadly dwarf.

melee attack on dwarf: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Round 3: Initiative 28

Ihon reaches out and touches Aeliana's shoulder, and says I believe this is the point where we say 'surrender and die', or something like that.

Ihon is using Diviner's Fortune on Aeliana. She gains +1 to attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws for one round.

Male Elf Fighter (Tactician) : 2 HP 12/18 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | Fort+4 Ref +3 Will+0 | Initiative +6 | Perception +6

Round 3

As my sword is deflected by the Dwarf's shield, I find myself spinning around on the stop. When I finally stop I look at the Dwarf again, just in time to see his hammer smash into the side of my face ... I blink and realise that it missed me by a hair's width, "That was lucky!" I quickly counter attack myself hoping to knock him unconscious.

Falchion Attack (Non-Lethal) : 1d20 + 4 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 4 - 4 + 1 = 17
Falchion Damage (Non-Lethal) : 2d4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 1 = 13

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

Round 3
Init 13

Continuing her battle song, Phaedra tries to finish off the dwarf in front of her.

If he closed in on her, she will take a step back first.

melee attack on dwarf: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Alternate action if dwarf is down before my turn: Phaedra takes a step back and attacks the swordsman that swung at her earlier.

Round 3: Initiative 6

Seeing his shot flying wide and the major fight reduced to swinging weapons, Baolus drew his greataxe and charged forward... not like a raging brute, but with precision and calm of a man doing his job.

Charging at any target available.

Attack (Greataxe), charge, power attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 2 - 1 = 24
Damage (Greataxe), power attack: 1d12 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 3 = 18

Will Save (Evil Eye): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

Round 3

The dwarf is knocked unconscious by Rona's swing. At nearly the same moment, Phaedra steps forward and finishes off the swordsman beside her.

The remaining archer fires at Aeliana while the swordsman swings at the large cat.

Longbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Longsword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

At that point Baolus crashes into the archer, killing her, as his greataxe cleaves her in two.

Male Elf Fighter (Tactician) : 2 HP 12/18 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | Fort+4 Ref +3 Will+0 | Initiative +6 | Perception +6

So we have, 1 or 2 bandits remaining?

Round 4

I rub my side with my hand where the Dwarf's hammer connected and start to walk to the next bandit. I have a slight limp and still seem to be breathing a little heavily. Once I get to the enemy I swing me blade with both hands, hoping that the skirmish will be over soon.

Falchion Attack (Non-Lethal) : 1d20 + 4 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 - 4 + 1 = 9

But with a simple twist the bandit is able to dodge the blow as if I was moving at a snails pace.

There is a single longswordsman remaining and Aeliana and Voltaire still have actions in round 3.

Voltaire Init: 20
Aeliana Init: 17

Aeliana is greatly wounded by an enemy arrow. With fierce determination she fires once more at the archer in hopes to end the bloodshed for the night.

Longbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Enraged by Aeliana's injury, Voltaire goes in for the kill.

Bite Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Claw Attack One: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 2 = 12

I'm guessing a 12 (Aeliana has a +1 from Diviner's Fortune still misses. In which case she'll be down.

Round 4: Initiative 28

Aeliana could use some help, Ihon says as his newfound friend falls from her wounds. That's enough of this! He waves his hand toward the archer.

Casting Web Bolt, Reflex Save DC 16.

Yes, a 12 misses.

Voltaire is able to strike the remaining swordsman, severely damaging him, though he remains standing.

The archer actually was killed by Baolus in R3, though after it had a chance to fire at Aeliana. Right now the only enemy standing is the longswordsman engaged with Voltaire.

Hrm. Probably best not to waste a spell on one wounded guy standing. Ihon does not cast a spell.

Round 4: Initiative 28, edited action

Aeliana could use some help, Ihon says as his newfound friend falls from her wounds. That's enough of this! He kneels down and touches Aeliana's shoulder.

Ihon uses Diviner's Fortune again on Aeliana, giving her a +1 on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws for one round. Hopefully that will help her stabilize.

Just noting, in case there is confusion, the longswordsman has not surrendered. The dwarf is currently unconscious, and the longswordsman is injured and engaged with Voltaire.

Female Human Skald / 5 [HP:43 /43] / AC:17 / Saves: fort+6, reflex+3, will+4

Round 4
Init 13

Phaedra continues her battle song as she swings her glaive at the lone swordsman still standing.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

ROUND 4

Voltaire Init: 20
Aeliana Init: 17

Voltaire continues to lash at the swordsman.

Bite Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Claw Attack One: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Claw Attack Two: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 1 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

I am fairly certain that with the archer's dying attack he knocked Aeliana's HP to zero. However, I put her attack just in case this was just an error on my part.

Aeliana accepts the aid from Ihon and fires an arrow to back up Voltaire.

Longbow: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Aeliana has taken 13 damage so needs to take a fort save to stabilize.

The swordsman is wounded by Voltaire's claw, but still standing.

Because I'm bad, it is in fact a DC 10 Con check to stabilize. Since you are at -4, you have a -4 penalty, -3 due to Ihon's +1.

If you search the bodies, you find 4 suits of studded leather, 2 longswords, 2 longbows, 2 daggers, 12gp, and 3sp. The unconscious dwarf has a suit of studded leather, a warhammer, a heavy steel shield, and 4gp.

Then he cleaned the blades from his axe in the dwarf's clothes and sat on his back, waiting for him to wake up... he then drew his whetstone and started to work on his weapon.

"So... it is getting dark and we still need to reach the post. This fellow could take hours to wake up. I think it is better to put him atop the mule and move forward... leave the others behind and, if it is the case, we come back tomorrow to take care of the bodies... what do you think?"

Baolus, you don't find anything hidden on the dwarf. Barring any healing, it seems likely that the dwarf will be out for a while.

Sorry for the delay in posting, my internet went down all of yesterday.

I sigh in relief as the last bandit falls to the floor and I too fall down to end up sitting in the road. "At least we can question one of them now." I look up at Phaedra and she starts her incantation and watch the wounds on our fallen comrade suddenly start to knit themselves together, "I don't suppose you have another of those going spare do you? Once we are safe, obviously."

I stand up and re-sheath my blade, then help Baolus put the unconscious Dwarf onto the mule before continuing on our journey.

Who will be carrying the loot, and who will be taking note of everything we have gained so far?

Baolus can carry all of it, since he has Str 18 and is not even in Medium load (can carry up to 300 lbs in heavy load).

You are all able to make the rest of the way to the trading post without incident. The post itself is actually quite small, consisting of a handful of trading stalls, all of which are vacant at this time of night, a small tavern which has fire light coming from the inside indicating that it is open, and a substantial tent farm where it is clear that travelers have made their camps for the night.
