    Mike I have a question.

    I know that we were going to magic my axe to a +1 during that long journey that we wrote our encounters out for (still an awesome idea DMS). I have done a quick search, but can't find it. I was looking at my cut and paste attacks it still says MW on there. Do you remember setting aside time to do it? I'm pretty sure you were counting out the days of travel for the other projects that you were working on.

    I do remember that, and o do recall that there was plenty of time, so I never had to note anything. I assumed I would not spend the money so I did not note any deduction for that either.

    Thanks Morkelb. Now I must ask the GM if it's ok I update my character in the middle of this fight, or wait till this one is over?

    On another note. Adam *FN great prose there on our first encounter with a dragon!! If it means anything, I want to nominate you for an award. Maybe a prestige point, or something else that will allow a small bonus to a D20 roll or something like that.

    Unfortunately I had a masterwork weapon so my to hit doesn't change, just the damage. Still a miss.

    Ha yeah, I remember getting mad at you guys for constantly wanting to start something new. We made so many awesome guys but rarely made it past third level.

    I think everytime you brought home a new handbook...

    Though we some interesting games, I remember a party of all rogues, party of all bards...

    Then an ill fated campaign where I was a paladin that specialized in undead slaying and Adam played a necromancer.

    I've had the pleasure of doing 2 full campaigns from L1 to completion with DMS (Spirit of Kings never actually ended, so that doesn't count!). On my third slated for completion--4 counting this one!

    Dragon hide/scale armor sounds pretty badazz. Can we make that happen? Is it worth it?

    Sandor could definatly make it, although depending on price it might take to long to do so. If we have a long downtime I could make it.

    Of course I could make a few dragonhide shields to offset some costs.

    Sandor can craft the dragonhide armor, and I think Morkelb can magic it while it's being crafted. It would take me 6 days to craft a Hide shirt(light) or Hide(medium). Longer for banded/ half plate.

    crafting fu example:
    The cost for the armor would be as follows:
    Cost Formula: ((Armor base cost*2)+(150*2))/3
    Craft DC=10+armor bonus MW Craft DC=20 Accel Craft +10 to DC
    Craft Formula: (Craft Roll+Craft DC)*2

    • Hide Shirt BC=20 Craft DC 13 Cost 113gp up to large size
    • Hide Armor BC=15 Craft DC 14 Cost 110gp Up to large size
    • Banded Mail BC=250 Craft DC 17 Cost 267gp Up to Normal size
    • Half Plate BC=600 Craft DC 18 Cost 4500gp up to Small size

    Sandor can't fail any of those craft DC's Assuming that I hire 2 competent craftsmen and roll 10's I can up the DC for accel crafting and not fail.

    Example for Hide Shirt:
    Cost in Silver Pieces: 400 Armor + 1000 MW
    Average Craft Check 21skill+10(take10)=31
    Average craft check result w/ accel crafting: Armor:204/day (2 days), MW 266/day 4 days.
    So it would take just about a week to make a Hide Shirt or Hide Armor.

    I'm hoping to see VII over this weekend

    Regarding in-game, I'm actually concerned about Restorations. We each need one (I'm last priority but current str is TWO). That's 7 4th level spells!

    DMS what are the chances Morkeleb can Teleport (after physically leaving Scarwall) to the town Grym got resurrected in to get some Restoration and Rest scrolls? (And get back) Maybe if we bring a few teeth and scales that would go a ways to prove out mettle?
