Rholf listens to the spinning of the tale casually kicked back in his seat and sipping his tea. He smiles from ear to ear as he watches the locals enjoying the goings on; happy that they are having such a good time after having endured the recent terror.
As Larissa enters, Rholf beckons her over, then orders more tea for himself and some for her.
Alinya sits in a corner of the inn, occasionally looking up from her book to smile at Castiel and Edwin's tale. As the evening goes on, she pays less and less attention to the rest of the inn, to the rest of the world it seems. She is engrossed in the book, sometimes arguing with it under her breath, sometimes making notes. She sips a small glass of wine, fingers seeking blindly for the stem as her eyes remain locked on the pages.
A frown and a smile war on her distracted face.
After a little break at the end of the tale,......the Quilt comes back in; "I want to buy you all a round, no; two rounds;" looks at Rholf, "whatever you drink;"
"so, where you guys going next?" he asks;...
This old guy limps up to you guys; "good job young sirs and madams! I was an adventurer in my younger days,......til I took an arrow to the knee..."

"Please join us, good sir! I would very much like to hear of your adventures." Rholf gestures to an open chair at their table.
He sits down;
"We fought some orc ghouls......back in the day;.....it was the archers as did me in. Not the paralyzers with their falchions; nay......the archers.
We won, on accounta we had one of these with us, (he gets up, almost falls over more from gaminess of knee than drunkenness), and pats Castiel on the back;
"but we almost didn't won, too."
Any questions?.....for the bard, or Mr. Limpy?.....
The bard was also wondering where you guys were going next;....

Rholf will spend a bit chatting with the old chap. "What is your name, good sir?" Beyond that, he'll ask about his adventuring party, whether or not any of them still live, and if so, if they live around here. He'll ask if the old guy ever had a family, and if so what their names are, etc.

"well, name's Nedrick, but I go by Quilt;" he looks at his cape; "it's catchy. They know who I am.
This is my partner; Firvog; we're eventually headed up to the Linnorm's, visit his.....family; but we're immediately riding for Lepidstadt.
Big to do there; they've captured the Beast of Lepidstadt.
Putting him on trial. For murder.
Lotsa people headed up there; I'm going by there, to just check it all out."

“They’ve captured the Beast of Lepidstadt?” asks Castiel – sitting nearby he overheard part of the conversation.
“We’ve heard of that monster as far south as Lastwall. It is my understanding that the Beast murdered a prominent member of the county Council after the uprising, and has been rampaging around the countryside since then, causing all sorts of havoc and committing further atrocities – it has even murdered several children by all accounts. It is good to hear that such an evil will soon be at an end. I understand that they are big on law and order up in Lepidstadt, so that I trust the creature will have a fair trial and be found guilty in due course ... perhaps we will get there in time to witness its execution. No, I do not revel in such occasions, but I believe that the evil and guilty should be punished, and I would rest easier in witnessing the end of such a great evil with my own eyes ...”
"They caught him; he was rampaging in the university for some reason.
He's got a long list of crimes they're gaffling him up for;.....I'm going to go see what all the hullaballoo is.
Make for a good song, mayhap."
"Indeed?" Edwin asks with a raised eyebrow as he moves in to join them at the table.
"If this is indeed true, it would make an impressive tale. Any bard worth the name could make an impressive career with that particular feather in his cap." He add with a smile.
"However, I believe a wise tale-gatherer would be interested in other details. For example, why was this creature menacing the University of all places?" He asks with a shrug.
"When is this trial supposed to take place? I for one confess a curiosity to see a creature stand trial. It should be an interesting exercise in applicable law if nothing else." He grins.
"I think, in the next week or two. We're fast tracking it up there tomorrow. We'll get there in two days. I don't play, well.....maybe three days; that giant I'm riding with, I don't want him to kill his horse."
Edwin gives a lopsided smile.
"No. You wouldn't want that. Although speaking of amusing tales,..." He smirks in a non-insulting way.
"heh heh heh!"

Rholf looks to make sure he's talking to Castiel.
It's not 100% if he's not talking to somebody he's hallucinating.....
"Uuuuuhhh...." Then, deciding better of it, Rholf just watches for the time being.
heh heh....in a bit, he's snoring through his beard onto the table. Not much to see......
"All right, then." Getting up, Rholf swigs down the last of his tea, leaving Lumas a gold piece to cover his and Larissa's tea with a tip thrown in. "I've had my fill for the evening. Good night, all!"
The evening winds down, inevitably.......the Quilt never seems to though. Elven blood perhaps; it's said that his mother's folk have no need of sleep.

Finally closing the book, and not without some reluctance, Alinya asks the flamboyant duo, "When are you traveling to Lepistadt? We have business there ourselves."
Edwin casually slides the book back towards him, and begins flipping through it himself once more. The tilt of his head shows that he is listening intently to everything going on. In the room, not just at the table,...
right on.....
The morning comes; the bard and his viking buddy haul ass for Lepidstadt........
Ms. Lorrimor sells her mansion, and after a week is ready to bail; anybody wanna do any last minute stuff/buy anything before you hoof it for Lepidstadt?
Also,....anybody wanna run Castiel for the nonce, or if not, I could say........he and Kendra kinda ride over there at a different time than the rest of the group for some annoying reason.
Larissa is uncharacteristically quiet as they prepare for the trip to Lepidstadt, unsure of this large city they are destined for and kind of enjoying her time in Ravengo.
Rholf's got nothing specific. He'll wish some folk well, say his general goodbyes, and then he's ready to roll.
Right on; I'll let everybody have a chance to chime in. Then, I'll do a pastoral description of the Ustilavian countryside; maybe tomorrow or something.
