Moira Renet
Being a ranger and one who walks the wilds of the world, Moira has been a light sleeper since beginning her training with Arnama. Her favored method of training a pupil was to have them hold a rope connected to a rock above their head. When they fell asleep and let go the rock would crack them in the head and wake them back up. This would go on for days until they slept light enough to catch it or get out of the way. So when the commotion started outside, Moira was awake and lucid in seconds. She reaches for her bow as she heads out the door.
Move to get up and move to head outside.
Dyrm
Dyrm finally arrives on the scene, cautious about using the gifts of flame while they're on wooden ships, he instead will sling a bullet at any foe not already engaged in melee.

Moira gets up grabbing her bow and moves to the deck.
Cotton from the edge of the boat, you could burn their sails but they're going to be too far still. Is that what you want to do?
You hear one of the Privateers, likely to be their leader call out to the others. "See, I told you this old barge would be easy pickings. A couple kids to swat down and the haul is ours."
The Three men load up their crossbows and fire out. Only one bolt finds his mark putting a good hit on Dyrm. Dyrm returns the attack at the privateer striking him with his sling.

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
Sa'sori calls upon her magical heritage and casts shield upon herself, crouching down on her belly going prone on top of the shack for better ranged cover {-4hit} at least for this round.
Crying out her smile seen by her companions, "...OH NO! Its PIRATES!! Someone save us! I don't want to be pillaged... or be dragged off as plunder...or worse!!!"
Bluff: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
- Trying to entice the pirates to come aboard to find the source of the very feminine sounding voice!
She smirks at the silliness of it all, thinking~ {That's right you idiot-jerks.. you keep thinking we're 'easy pickings'... and come on over...I'll CARVE that into your hides with my curve blade before sending you to the Boneyard!
Move Action: Go prone
Standard Action: Cast Shield spell
Cotton Majet
"Pick THIS, you stinking bilge rat!" Cotton shouts - and she sprays fire onto the pirates' sails!
Yup. Time to divide and conquer. I figure at least some will break away to save their ship.
Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
If the pirates sailboat is within Cotton's spell range..15'ft cone.. they are only 10'ft away from our barge right DM?
DM_Kumo Gekkou
Their boat it scooted up next to yours. The boat is floating just a few feet away from yours. As their boat is shorter than yours, they will have to climb up to yours. You could (with good acrobatics) jump down into theirs. Failure will land you in very stormy waters between to boats. Her flames can hit the sails of the boat, which are raised much higher than the deck of the boat. Since the flames go 15 feet out they can catch part of the sail.
Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
In the words of... Rocket 'Racoon', "Oh! YEAH!!" I'm SO jumping onto their boat!~ Doing that next round~
Dyrm
Round 3 for him when it arrives
Dyrm grunts in pain as the bolt burrows deep into his shoulder, and he flings another stone, "I'm a dwarf, fool, I was born older than you are." Obviously an exaggeration, but the way their warnings in Kassen were passed over as they were just children... well, it annoys him to hear the term 'kids' by this brigand.
Another sling: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Dmg: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Moira climbs atop the cabin as she had when they set off for the hit advantage and cover. "Careful. These kids have fangs already."
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Pitiful threat.

Round 2
3d4 ⇒ (1, 2, 1) = 4
Cotton fires her spell catching a small patch of the sail to flame. The damp cloth has trouble catching much of a fire with all the rain pouring against it dousing the embers away quickly.
Vera creates a magical greatsword the lashes out against the foe Dyrm struck slashing into the briggand. Sa'sori drops for cover and casts a spell upon herself.
Round 3
Moira springs into action climbing atop the cabin and looses an arrow that flies past the privateers.
Turn order Cotton, Privateers
Cotton Majet
Cotton draws a deep breath and unleashes a scream - one audible only to the pirates' leader!
Ear-piercing scream for 1d6 ⇒ 6 sonic damage. Fortitude save DC 14 to halve damage. Fail to save and the leader is dazed for one round.
DM_Kumo Gekkou
Cotton, which one do you want to hit? Dyrm hit one with a sling and Vera hit the same with his sword. Sa'sori hit a different one with her bow. Fortitude save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
One of the pirates calls out, "Ignore the sail, worst case we get a new barge when this is over. Keep firing." Another one calls out, "That orc's got magic. Go for her first." He quickly scoots away from the weapon before the pirates fire off a new round of crossbow bolts.

Sa'sori stands, drawing her elven curve blade from its back sheath in the same motion... and smiles... wickedly at the pirates... and cutting a provocative and lovely figure doing so...
Move Action: Stand from Prone & Draw weapon as part of move action
Calling out, "HA! BESMARA smiles!"
She takes a short leap, from the shack top to the deck of their Sailboat ..in amongst them going for the one she shot before~ {1#} the Captain.
Free Action: 5'ft Step+leap
Acrobatics: Take 10! 10 + 2 = 12
- That should be enough for a 10 foot leap
Trying to remember BESMARA's ethos she racks her brain for a moment..
Knowledge {Religion}: {Untrained - 10 max result} 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
But, can think of no witty religious quip to make so she shrugs laughing as she taunts them all, "...If you're going to be a Pirate... Don't SUCK at it!"
The bold half-elven woman child swings her elven curve blade in a deadly arc at the captain... getting as close to the pirates as possible!
Standard Action: Attack with Elven Curve Blade 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: Elven Curve Blade 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
If they shoot again or even try to reload within reach of her .. she will gladly cut them down for their error!

Vera will adopt a defensive stance(+2 to AC), and use a move action to guide the spiritual weapon back to the guy she is attacking(it takes no action on her part for the sword to continue attacking).

DM_Kumo Gekkou
Dyrm fires another pellet from his sling cracking the pirate in the head. A spout of blood gushes forth as the man falls to the ground. Vera's blade moves to a new target swinging and missing the captain. Sa'sori leaps from the cabin top down to the other pirates boat, she easily leaps the distance but misjudged how slick their boat is. Her footing slips as she hits their deck losing her balance and falling.
Sa'sori acrobatics 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 your take 10 is enough to make it but you'll land prone. Do you want to keep your attack as a standard or stand up using that action?
Moira fires another arrow, but Sa'sori's antics clearly distract her.
once I get an answer from Sa'sori and cottons turn I'll post their next turn.
1 9/16
3 16/16
Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
Never mentioned I'd need two acrobatics checks. Guess I'll stand instead as I'm sure prone I'll miss at a -4 and right now all they have is missile weapons and don't threaten melee squares around them.
DM_Kumo Gekkou
Having Sa'sori on board, the two men focus their attention on her. They stow their crossbows, then draw their longswords shifting into a flank and moving against the half-elf. Luckily the nimble half elf easily dodges one, and her abjuration blocks the other.
Move to stow weapon. Free action to draw longsword. 5ft step to flank. Standard to attack.
Privateer 1 attack vs. Sa'sori 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 2 = 16

Sa'sori steps out of flank position toward the center of the pirates sailboat.. to place herself facing them with their backs to her crew on her barge.
Then 'Red Wing' swoops in to provide flank as he claws at the captain from behind, just as a smiling Sa'sori takes her swing with her elven curve blade...
"You choose the Wrong barge to attack!"

If the captain drops... Sa'sori turns to face the remaining pirate with a wicked smile pointing her elven curve blade at his breast with a graceful & dangerous looking flourish and says in a 'piraty tone', "..Oy, I suggest ye' Parley fur surrender.. or be ready ta meet BESMARA'S Embrace! YA-HAR!!"
DM_Kumo Gekkou
A tiny creatures (such as redwing has a reach of 0 ft. and thus cannot flank. Rules Link He will have to enter the captain's space to attack which will provoke an opportunity attack. Are you ok with that?
Vera Claves
"Ooooh this is a very bad idea..." Vera is going to follow Sa'sori and try jumping onto the pirate's ship.
Acrobatics: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (12) - 4 = 8
If she fails(but still makes it to the ship), she will use her second move action to stand. If by some miracle she somehow succeeds, she will then make an attack against the nearest pirate.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
A tiny creatures (such as redwing has a reach of 0 ft. and thus cannot flank. Rules Link He will have to enter the captain's space to attack which will provoke an opportunity attack. Are you ok with that?
lol. Yes Red Wing attacks anyways. Once again its proven how WORTHLESS familiars are... its no wonder most Wizards use the item bond instead.
Moira Renet
Fools, Moira thinks as her companions jump overboard. Why do that? They had to board to take over. Stay behind cover and wait. For a magic user Sa'sori was unusually prone to jump into the middle of things. Moira does her best to support her though.
Forgot my own favored enemy bonus.
Attack+FE: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 2 = 12
Damage+FE: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Ugh. I swear this character has the worst luck.
DM_Kumo Gekkou
Dyrm makes his way over to Vera and casts a spell on the half-orc to empower her. Vera leaps out to the boat and goes plunging into the waters below. Sa'sori calls to her hawk who flies at the pirate captain dodging the captain's blade and claws his face. Sa'sori uses the distraction to run the captain through snuffing his life out. Moira lets loose another arrow but can't find her mark with the wind and rain blowing her arrows off target. The one privateer left realizes he's in over his head. "Y-you better go rescue your friends!" He says with a trembling voice to Sa'sori. He reaches into his belt and pulls a flask as he steps away from the half-elf. He then tosses the flask at your boat near where Vera leaped from. The flash explodes in flames that splash out burning Dyrm and the boat.
Privateer 1 vs. Red Wing 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Privateer 3 vs. boat 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

EDITED I forgot to put him taking a 5' step. I'll correct my post.
Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
Does pulling a alchemist's fire count as a weapon.. or a potion? If its a potion.. the privateer just provoked an attack from Sa'sori
Sa'sori's AoO Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Sa'sori's AoO w/Elven Curve Blade Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Sa'sori shakes her head her smile vanishing and all mirth gone from her tone, "..So its BESMARA'S Embrace then! My friends will keep.. but you have chosen death! You don't really think I'll turn my back on you? I didn't come over here to make or let you run away.. I came to take your ship and plunder! No. Give my regards to the scaly!!"
She pirouettes in a deadly arc cutting him across the chest...
Elven Curve Blade Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Elven Curve Blade Damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Calling over her shoulder, "Moira, throw Vera a line...!"
Cotton Majet
"Throw down your weapon or die, scurvy!" Cotton shouts at the last remaining pirate, and she hurls magic at him.
Ear-piercing scream 1d6 ⇒ 6 sonic damage. Fortitude save DC 14 for half. Fail to make the save and the pirate is dazed for one round.

C'mon. Just one please.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
What is wrong with me? I've done this before. Maybe not people but I have done this. Deer make more difficult targets.
DM_Kumo Gekkou
Dyrm casts a spell mixing magical water with the storm putting the fire starting on deck out. Vera swims back to the surface of the water after falling in and treads water. Sa'sori moves against the privateer and makes a solid slash cutting the man open as blood coats her blade. Moira lets loose another arrow but this storm is just proving too much for her arrows. Cotton lets out a magical shriek causing more blood to leak from the man's ears. The privateer in a panic moves away from Sa'sori while trying to defend himself. Sa'sori seems surprised by his sudden cowardice and misses with her blade. The privateer moves to the back of the boat, cutting one of the two ropes connecting his boat to yours.
Privateer fort save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Sa'sori AOO 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
Sa'sori chuckles at the fleeing privateer as she gestures her arcane tattoos on her cheeks, chest, shapely legs and arms glowing briefly, "...all too easy!"
Casting her magic missile spell two glowing bolts of silvering arcane energy are unleashed from her outstretched hand to strike the fleeing privateer unerringly with painfully solid impacts...
Standard Action: Cast Magic Missile at fleeing privateer 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7
Seeing the privateer was kind enough to cut free a line or two for her.. Sa'sori takes a step toward one of the freed lines or a coil of rope on the deck and tosses the end to Vera still thrashing in the water, "...here Vera.. climb aboard."
Free Action: 5'ft step toward severed line or a free line on the deck
Move Action: Toss Vera a line from the sailing boat
Sa'sori 'Kalisreavil'
Vera..are you applying your armor check penalty to your rolls?
Cotton Majet
Cotton swears under her breath when she sees Vera go under. The little Gnome unslings her rope, ties one end to the railing and tosses the trailing end into the water.
Cotton will double-move for it, then.
Vera Claves
Yes, I was applying armor check penalty. She has a strength of 18, plus Bull Strength gives her +6 to swim and climb checks. The armor check penalty is -4 thus +2. However, that was her last round of Bull's strength if I'm not mistaken.
