Edynn |

Taking the packet with a smile, Edynn leads the way toward the area the girl indicates to try the dice.

Sialea |

Sialea enjoyed the tour, the Silver Disk hall was quite interesting, even if the games were rigged against the players as she figured they were. The tour didn't take nearly as long as she had hoped before they found themselves in Garmen's office but she looked around the place with interest until she noticed the painting. Something about that painting brought a wash of fear through her, a niggling something she'd forgotten, and she sat down in the chair without even quite recognizing that it was there. Truth be told Garmen could have bent her over his desk and taken her if he had felt like it.
Holding off there for the moment to see what he does.

Sialea |

Pretty sure murder isn't what is on his mind.

GM_Garmen Ulreth |

Sialea
Garmen notices your change in expression, and his own turns from one of self-indulgent pride to confusion. He reaches underneath his desk and produces a bottle of red wine and a pair of glasses, setting them on the desk before turning to see what you're staring at.
"Something about that painting catch your eye, eh?" He taps a finger on the desk. "Depicts the last battle of the Black Sovereign of Numeria, it does. Brigh knows I wouldn't want to face down a beast like that..."
He turns to you and waves a hand in front of your face. "You alright, there?"

Gamblers
The three of you make your way through the crowded common room and down to the green felt carpet of the gambling pit, passing by the roulette table and the card players as you go. There's a bit of a crowd gathered around the dice table--apparently, it's one of their more popular draws.
"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us today." A black-haired man with pale skin and strange, gold-line tattoos says. He smooths his black vest and adjusts the cufflinks of his shirt before continuing. "Tonight's dice game is knucklebones: a dice game from the far reaches of Galt." His voice is smooth, even, and unfailingly professional. "I am Jyn, and I will be your server today."

Not him, Inlé’s Murder senses are tingling.
Inlé silently watches Edynn and the dealer, trying to figure out how this game might be played.

Sialea |

When Garmen waved a hand in front of her eyes it seemed to snap Sialea to of whatever had such a grip on her mind with a sudden gasp of breath. She sat in the chair he had pulled up for her carefully as color returned to her face. "I'm sorry Master Ulreth, I don't know what came over me." She glanced back at the picture with a shudder and turned from it, "Sometimes I'll see something and become distant like that, I don't know why exactly, but I think it's because of what I don't remember." She looked back at him with a smile and continued, "I should be fine now, I've never had something trigger an episode twice," she looked a little embarrassed, "I hope you won't think less of me for it."

GM_Ironcat |

Gamblers
"How much is it to play?"
"One silverdisk minimum to buy in." Jyn folds his hands on the dice table's edge.
"My server? What is Knucklebones... the rules I mean?"
"The rules are thus--first, you must place a bet on either 'Pass'"--he taps a part of the felt dice table labeled 'PASS' in red. "--or 'Don't Pass'." He then taps below the 'PASS' portion of the table, where 'DON'T PASS' is written in black.
"If you choose 'Pass', and roll a 7 or 11--" Jyn slides a pair of red six-sided dice with white pips out of a pocket in his vest. "--your bet wins, and you gain double your wager back. If the roll is a 2, 3, or 12, you lose your bet."
"At any other value, you make a point--which is the total number on the dice you rolled--and must continue rolling the dice until you either roll that point or a 7. Roll the point, and you win double your wager--roll 7, and you lose it."
"If you choose 'Don't Pass', the rules are largely mirrored. 7 or 11 loses, 2, 3, or 12 wins, and any other value is a point. However, 7 wins the bet, and the point loses." Jyn bows briefly. "Would you like me to explain it again?"

Sialea |

Still not entirely aware of what was being said Sialea nodded her head at the offer of a drink. She hadn't really heard what drink he offered but anything was acceptable to her right now. "Yes, thank you." She rubbed her forehead with one hand while he poured the wine and took it when offered. She tossed the glass back quickly and held it out for more with out really tasting the first one. "Sorry, I should've waited for you." Interestingly her words were already slurred from the alcohol.

Inlé |

"Would you like me to explain it again?"
I don’t think that will help, Inlé thinks as he tries to make sense of the game.

Celen |

The vouchers were 100 of those silverdisks yes?
"So i place my bet here."
He began placing ten of the whatever strange chip/coin the vouchers had provided him on the Pass line.
"So I just have to roll anything but a 2, 3, or 12 to keep playing?"
He asked accepting the dice, giving them a good shake and then rolling them onto the table.
gambling? Such a degenerate Celen: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
He frowned eyeing the dice and shrugged.
"Does that mean i have to put another 10 in and roll again or just roll again. I need to roll a 6 only now to win correct? if i roll a 2,3,7, or 12 i lose?
degenerate check: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11

GM_Garmen Ulreth |

Sialea
Garmen blinks in surprise as you gulp down your glass of wine in one swig. "Oh, it's quite alright." He takes a sip of his wine.
"Is this your first time tasting red wine, lass? It's normally meant to be savoured, taking a bit at a time." He arches an eyebrow at you when you start slurring your words.

Sialea |

Sialea went to focus on Garmen as she nodded, the motion leaving her a little dizzy and glad that she was sitting down, and carefully took a sip of the new glass of wine. "Sorry," her words were still slurred, "I didn't know that." She looked at the glass and said, "Wine, why does that sound like something a kid does, or a capacitor does, or something..." she took another sip, "At least it tastes good." It seemed that she really couldn't handle the alcohol well as she said, "Yes, this is my first time having red wine." She took another sip, "Does it always make you feel this good?"
So we have found Sialea's weakness, Golarian alcohol.

Inlé |

Sialea, can you still hear us? Inlé lets out after not having heard from the Psychic in awhile. Hopefully the connection still reached this far apart.

Celen |

degenerate check: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8
more: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9
really: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10
myohmy: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11
celenyoudegenerateloser:P: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7
"Ah well there is that. I dont get the appeal."
He said with a shrug handing the dice back to the dealer calmly.

GM_Garmen Ulreth |

Sialea
"Depends on how much you drink, and how much you're willing to suffer when it's run its course." Garmen looks between you, your glass and the wine bottle on his desk. "Just be sure you don't drink too much--it's got a habit of turning your stomach half-circle when you do. And then you, well..."
He shrugs and starts to put the wine bottle away. "I hadn't expected you to react this strongly to it."
Gamblers: What would you like to do next? If the dice table holds no interest, there's cards, the roulette table, machines upstairs, and the bar.

Sialea |

Sialea pouted as she saw the bottle going away from her but decided that maybe he was right. She certainly didn't feel like herself after all. "Maybe yur right," she slurred, "I shoun't 'pose on you if I get schick." She looked blearily at Garmen then and said, "You know, yur kinda hansome Garmie."

Sialea |

Sialea was definitely drunk and feeling really good as she took a last sip of her wine finishing the glass. She gave Garmen an arch look and asked, "So, what do ya wanna do now Garmie?" By now the wine had made her forget why she'd come up here with him, alone, in the first place, and the inebriation had shut down her abilities. She was alone, vulnerable, and in a state that she would agree to almost anything Garmen wanted to do next.

Sialea |

Looking at Garm owlishly Sia considered as best she could his words. The inebration left her mind reading abilities completely out and she rose, stumbling as she moved and practically fell against Garmen. "Oops, sorry." She looked up at him and said, "I don't know what I want, I feel like anything Garmie." She had what she thought was a brilliant idea then, having completely forgotten Celen's seeming dislike of the man, "Why don't you choose Garmie, host's choice."

GM_Garmen Ulreth |

Sialea
Surprisingly enough, Garmen flinches when you tumble into his lap. It may have been from your sudden landing in his lap or something else altogether.
"Eh... lass..." He gently helps you off of his lap and to your feet. "...I've been called many things, ever since I opened the Silverdisk Hall. A cheat, a liar, a difficult boss to work for. Some of those names I'll wager I've even earned."
"But one thing I will *never* be called is a scoundrel who takes advantage of drunken young women." He carefully slides an arm around your side and starts leading you to his office door. "Let's get you back to your friends, eh?"

Sialea |

Sialea pouted a bit at Garmen but let him lead her gently towards the door. She looked up at him before they exited and asked, "You sure Garmie? I bet we'd have lots of fun." She didn't resist any to whatever he did next but let him lead her along.

GM_Garmen Ulreth |

Sialea
"I'm quite sure, lass." Garmen reaches a hand out to the door. "And I don't doubt it would be."
He opens the door back to the noises of machines and raucous patrons, and carefully guides you down the stairs alongside him. As you're halfway down the stairs, he leans in to whisper in your ear...
"Come see me when you've sobered up, if you're still interested. I'd be happy to... receive... you then." He gives you a knowing smirk.

Edynn |

Edynn frowns as Inle points out Sialea's absence. Sia....are you there?
At just that moment she sees them, noting that Sialea is clearly under the effects of something.

Celen |

His scowl deepened at how ...familiar the bastard was acting torwards Sialea... yest at the same time he hadnt done anything that Celen was aware off... after all Sialea would have said something with that mental trick of hers right?

Sialea |

Sia was quite unsteady as she was brought downstairs to her friends and when she reached them gave them a bleary eyed smile as she slurred, "Hi, havin' fun?" Her words were badly slurred and she was obviously completely smashed.

Sialea |

Sia giggle at Inle and said, "Awww, cute little bunny man, I feel reeeeeeeeeeeeally good." She reached down to try and pet his head but started to fall and it was only Garmen catching her that kept her from hitting the ground.

Inlé |

Igihtititia!" he quickly let out and waved his his hands, moreso with her calling him a bunny in public than trying to pet him. "How much did she have?!" he asks Garmen, trying to chaneg the subject back to soemthing more pressing.

Sialea |

Leaning against Garmen to stay up Sia held up four fingers and said, "He gave me, one three...TWO! Two glasses." She looked at her fingers puzzling what was wrong and then reached out to hold two fingers down, "Twooooo."
