He picked up one of the hammers and tucked it into his belt just in case but he nodded to the others.
" We certainly are down here to explore and see what we can find.
He held up his holy symbol and concentrated on it for a moment a wave of positive enegy washing out over his friends.

The door to the east of the laboratory suddenly opens with a *whoosh*, revealing four small, green & leafy figures. Their 'hair' is an unhealthy russet colour and their every footstep is punctuated by the squelching of plant matter & mud. They immediately freeze as they see the party standing over the ruined remains of the strange fungi, and their spears shake slightly in their hands.

The green figures glare at the bunny and shake their spears. A sound like churning plant matter comes from their mouths.

Inlé marches through the door the plant-people came from.
The air in the room beyond is unusually warm & moist, with a thin, pale vapour of mist clinging to the ceiling, causing the lighted panels to diffuse & become muted. Condensation runs down the walls along with a riot of unusual brown and dull green vegetation. The moist, thick-stemmed plants and vines grow out of long earth-filled troughs along the wall, while a tall column of plant matter extends like a tree trunk from a circular planter in the middle of the room to spread a network of vines across the mist-shrouded ceiling. A low humming sound fills the air.
Inlé
"Hmm," Inlé lets out as he makes his way through the plant filled room. Finding himself back in the hallway he heads towards the room they had skipped.
Edynn
"It looks as if this were some sort of plant-based habitat. Probably where those creatures came from." Edynn says taking in the surrounding area.
Sialea
Looking at the remains of the creatures they'd just killed Sialea couldn't help but wonder if it had been necessary. She hadn't been in place to see if they attacked or not but she supposed it was a moot point now. She carefully stepped past the remains of the creatures to look inside the next room. The tree was huge, and indoors, both things sh never had seen before. She was shocked it was still alive, if it was alive, and looked through the doorway for signs of trouble and things of interest.

Inlé opens the door to the room the party skipped.
The room beyond reeks of stagnant water and decaying vegetation. A long trough of water runs along the walls of this room; a layer of brown scum and algae grows on the water's surface and on the walls. A single workstation sits in the middle of the room connected to a large machine made of tubes and bubbling tanks of water.
Sitting on the workstation is a small, green, plant-like figure with russet-brown hair, its body quite muscular and toned. A glowing blue light hammer that looks bigger than its hands could normally hold rests at its side. The buff plant-person is flanked by three smaller plant-people, similar to the ones the party slew earlier.
The apparent leader of the group raises its hammer and says something that sounds like crunching leaves...

Sia was entranced by this room and had no real idea that her friends had moved on. She felt a desire to enter and looked back over her shoulder to see if the others were coming when she realized they were gone. Figuring they went back into the hallway she turned to follow them and saw Celen send fire out. Then she realized something was wrong and hurried forward. She looked in to see more of the same creatures as before, one of which seemed more threatening than the others. She drew on her reserves of psychic power as she wove together bolts of force in her mind. When the spell was ready she dumped the extra power into it and then sent the bolts out to slam into the chieftain. The two bolts hit with far more force than expected for something their size.
