Busy day today, will try to post later tonight. We are still in combat, so Kern can take an action.

Hearing Sophy's call from the other chamber, Kern glances momentarily at Eponine, and then hurries back towards the pool.

Double move to Z31.

Female Human Lore Oracle 5

Seeing Wren and Kern enter the room, Sophy nods at the bubbling pool. "There! Something's about to come out of it! And Erylium must be here somewhere!" She leaps down from the platform and hurries out the doors to find Eponine. Wren and Kern return to the cathedral as Sophy rushes to Eponine's side. All the while a humanoid figure was taking from in the gurgling waters of the pool. Another of the freakish split jawed creatures is emerging from the pool.

End Round 3

The creature shrieks with rage and delight and flings itself down the stairs towards Kern, slashing wildly with its claw. Kern easily deflects the blow. The pool seemed to still for a moment after the creature leaped out, but once again it begins to churn and froth as a second creature begins to form.

Wrens magical attack blasts the creature in the chest as Kern sweeps it's feet out from under it. Trying not to see her friends death like stare Sophy looks at the dead. The corpses are so old they are barely recognizable as humans. She is pretty sure they are not anyone she would know from Sandpoint especial since what little remains of the clothing is not from the fashion of modern day. Sophy wills Eponine back to consciousness whose body starts to move as the elf regains awareness of her surroundings.

Eponine I thought you were -8 hp when you stabilized, shouldn't you have 2 hp now? Also, Eponine will follow Sophy in the order now.

End of Round 4

The creature on the stairs struggles back to it's feet drawing an attack from Kern. He swings the flail but the creature ducks under and bites the warrior on the leg. For a moment the warrior is overwhelmed by the emotions of hate and rage, but then the feelings fade.

A second of the spawned creatures leaps from the pool and rushes at Victor striking the warrior in the face with one of its nasty claws.

The turmoil of the waters subsides again for just a moment, but then it once again begins to bubble and froth. A wicked laugh echos from the stone walls of the room, coming from near the pool. Another creature begins forming in the pool.

After suffering a blow from a claw, Victor sees an opening and thrusts the magical sword deep into the gut of the creature. It bellows in pain as Victor slashes open its belly, spilling gore about ane it stares hatefully at Victor.

Wren blast Erylum with her magic, immediately after that Erylium screeches as the sharpstone plunges into her face from Belril's slingstaff. He is quick to launch another and scores a second decent hit, this time on the creature that looms over Eponine.

Below the demon the pool begins to churn and foam as her blood sprays into the water from Belril's vicious attack.

Severely hurt, Kern refuses to give up and slams his flail into the creatures skull. He hears the cracking of bone, but the creature still stands.

The podium at the end of the cathedral is 5 ft above the main floor. It does not have a railing, think of it as a stage. The pool is sunk into it and is three feet deep. The pool in the center of the main floor is filled with water and is also about three feet deep, without a railing.
