Hey Mythril, I believe if you have a +1 base attack (or higher) you can draw your weapon as a free action as part of your movement.
I think that's correct but I tend to be wrong more than right. :)
You are right, I had never noticed that in the chart for move actions before. One of those things we have been doing wrong in my home game for ever. I have found that playing these PBP realy helps with my rules knowledge. Please always feel free to point out where I might make a mistake with the rules. I will try to stick to them as close as possible through out the thread.

DM, I am out most of the day with work. To keep things moving, if Wren's action comes up, she will cast Grease whereever it would do the most good...ie, if the gobbies are still climbing the ladder to the stage, I'd cast on the ladder. If not, pick one threatening the crowd, and I will cast it on his weapon. Thanks.

Okay will do.

They are City Born, Country Born, Varisian Tattoo, ect. I opted to allow those feats as possibilities and instead give the two character traits. I hope that helps, sorry if I confused you. If you are entitled to a feat for class or race than do take it, you may choose to spend your slots on one of feats in the players guide but it is not required.Javell DeLeon wrote:@Lucendar: I checked out your character and unless I just missed it, I think you're short a fighter bonus feat.DM said no free feat at 1st level. Is this still the case or can I add a feat?
Ah, ok, I misunderstood. Very good to know. Then Bones will take Cleave as his 2nd feat.

New post is up, Thanks for the well wishes, I am doing much better today but still a bit tired and sore from head to toe. Might post a bit slower than in the past for a few days since I have to catchup on some work I am now behind on.
Seems very unfair that an illness most likely caused (or at least exacerbated) by stress and overwork only leads to getting further behind on work and thus more stress.... :(

Dear companions,
If we do not save this woman and her child, I must fall upon my own sword.
Twice.
Thanks and have a great day!
You will probably need to roll better than a 13 :) I did this both times I ran this at a live table. It is interesting to see how it has played out differently each time.

Eponine hops over the sloppy remains of the goblin with a nod of thanks to Brock. She moves to AU80....
I believe markofbane missed that, while Brock killed the goblin in AU78 on this map, there was still a goblin in AT78. If Eponine had moved as specified above, she would have drawn an AoO from the goblin in AT78 but would indeed have been in a flanking position with the sheriff to attack the goblin in AU80. The DM assumed she was attacking the goblin right next to her in AT78. Misunderstanding ensued.
That was my read on it, anyway. Could be wrong. :)

AH. That is it I totally missed the move to AU80. I am sorry for the screw up. I will adjust the map accordingly. The damage stays, was not enough to kill it but the sheriff finishes it off this round anyway.

Just waiting on Eponine to finish round 3, I don't plan to DM force moves on this thread since it is secondary to our LoF game. Also, a heads up that I might miss a day here or there with this thread. It can take a lot of time to do the DM posts, and with my recent ER trip, backed up school work, and now my daughter has been rushed to the ER this week as well. Everyone is home and fine but we have a lot of follow up to do with doctors. I am not ending the thread because I find that these are a fun way to relax and de-stress, but I ask for your patience as we move forward. In a few weeks I am sure we will be back to at least once a day post from me. Thanks ALL.

Mythril DM |

Hey Mythril, I figure I better ask this now before it's my turn.
I was planning on charging the goblin on Sophy, is that gonna be feasible, or no? [/QUOTE
Yes, you can charge to space BJ75 and get the charge bonus. That is only 50 ft under double your move, you have line of sight, and there is nothing in your way (the crowds are gone).

Hey all, I am back. Sorry about the delay. Good news is I am up and running, bad news is I lost the map so I will need to re create it. I will do my best to get things going again soon, but I am taking a one week class in January that has a LOT of reading associated with it. So I might be a few days for me to figure out how I am going to manage everything until the kids are back in school.

Mythril DM |

UPDATE Time: I have been pretty busy over the holidays and next week I am taking a one week intensive course that is equal to a whole semester. After that I have a month off until the regular spring semester starts. So, I will be holding off on continuing this thread until I get done with this one week class. Sorry for the delay but because it is so much work I wont have much free time.

Wincing in pain at the slight wound, Eponine hones in on the same goblin she attacked last round and tries to finish it in one thrust.
To hit 1d20+4
Damage 1d6Potential crit 1d20+4
Potential extra damage 1d20+4
Hey Eponine, is there a chance I can get a weapon like yours? ;)
Just noticed this on your "Potential extra damage 1d20+4". I can see how it could easily be missed, though, seeing how you only managed a 2. :)
I can see it now:
Eponine "Vorpal dogslicer, huh?!" *rolls nat 20 on damage* "Take that!" :)

She took the pouch from the servant, listened to the quiet one's question. "I think that is precisely what this gift is for. And to be fair, my garment is more for traveling than for entertaining. What say we go find something nice for us all? Do any of the locals here know of a garment shop nearby?"
Woo hoo! Shopping montage! If Hollywood has taught me anything, it's that makeovers always work out well for the quiet-librarian types. :)

Haha, yeah Joana...I didn't want to go too overboard in any sort of dumb way, being a dude and all, but I figure Wren would want to look nice. She can have a makeover for Sophy if you want!

markofbane |

LOL! Who knows what sort of dancing went on in the theater back in the day.
For the makeover, we have to have the scene where Sophy takes off her glasses and lets her hair down, and the nobleman falls instantly in love with her as she was really very pretty the whole time. Who knew!
Much to the chagrin of Eponine and Wren, of course!
