Head's up to all, I have a helpful ability.
Sense Threat: can roll a perception check for initiative checks; allies with lower initiatives within 10 sq gain a +2 racial bonus to their initiative.
M4, hidden around the corner (using previous stealth or you want a re-roll?) Initiative 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12. So Vondal, Aurix, and Tiberious get a +2 racial bonus.
Varis eases his way up to the side of the building, ready to act when and if something gets his attention. He silently directs the other men on points to be aware of, and ready for. The women appear to move gracefully enough to not warrant his assistance.

Luce moves forward quickly into the hold, looking for her brother. Ever alert for dangers she peers into the interior.

Anastria's glance at the courtyard reveals little other than the existance of another gate, but Luce spots movement in the battlements above. Blue figures are doing their utmost to hide and succeeding well.
How super. The blue figures are pink. Ahem. They have total cover up there, so until they reveal themselves a bit better, are -5 to hit.
Anastria, if you wish to delay until after Luce, feel free as it was my mistake in the first place.

Not sure how many squares they are up, but the power has a range 10 & C1 is laterally 8 away. EDIT: So it's out of range.
Luce bounds into the courtyard; her eyes just spot the blue wings of the demons hid atop the battlements. A smile spreads across her face; 'Hah, take that Tiberious they are real!..... unless I am one of the hallucinating gullible farmers!' She thinks causing the smile to drop as she doubts her own intellect.
"Up there?!?" she calls her voice wavering in uncertainty, Luce throws out her hands - her fingers trying to point out the blue winged creatures. She calls upon small sparks of power, as her Gran taught her. These motes fly from her hands expanding into a small cloud hopefully covering the Southern most kidnapper. They fall like a burning rain upon it's head. Unfortunately she misjudges the height of the wall and it peppers the base.

If the range is 10, and the largest distance is 8, then no matter what angle you are at it's in range (remember: 4E doesn't use the diagonal measurements as it doesn't measure feet only squares). The wall is only 4 squares high, and the creature is only 8 squares away, both within the 10 range.
EDIT: Technically, C3 is only 8 squares away from you as well.

Tiberious roars in his parade ground voice he thinks to himself that if she had seen something least the enemy would know there are more of them coming and if not well leaast she heard him. Tiberious growls out to Aurix beside him, "Bloody farmers jumping at shadows I bet."

Aurix rumbles deep in his throat and he draws forth the handaxe from his left hip, holding it in one hand while he seems to sniff the air, shield coming up to guard his body, golden eyes scanning the tops of the battlements where the farmer's fireball erupted. His days as a warrior had given him unshakeable nerves but unless the down-country folk were simply jumpy, the girl had had a reason to loose her...magic...
Aurix flashes a suspicious look at Luce. The farmgirl could do magic? In what world was that normal?

He then turns to look at Tiberious and nods to the battlements around them. "More times than not Captain. Still..." He scans the area again, handaxe drawn and ready to throw. "Never can be too careful...She might have a point, even if we of the Plated and Sword cannot see it as of yet."

If Aurix is worried about a fireseed, he's going to do his nut when Luce turns into a whatever she turns into.
Now that they are inside the courtyard, Luce and Anastria can see two stone staircases leading up to the battlements.
Which you can climb at half speed.

Varis peers around the corner into the confines of the tower. Across the way he spots one of the little blue devils atop the battlements, Cimerphs he thinks they're called. Drawing an arrow from his quiver and nocking it to his bow, he acts, dashing forward into the opening to fire, secure in the fact that it hasn't gotten the chance to react to Luce's spell.
In his concern over the amount of protection offered by the building itself, he overcorrects and his shot goes high. He quickly shoulders his bow and slips back out the door to attempt to make his way up along the outside wall. He hopes he can creep over the top unseen to get a better view of the area.
Standard, Deft Strike, move 2 before the attack to L5, attack on C2 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 - 5 = 9 vs AC (CA from first strike, -5 for superior cover).

Luce looks on and smiles as the demons are spotted, 'See I am not mad.' See laughs slightly hysterically; "Oi, where's me brother ya little sods." Before she realises her language is not for mixed company.

Sensible.
Just to note that you can always ready an action. For example - ready Cleave for first enemy to come within range. If that trigger occurs before your next turn, you take the action then.
