Woohoo! Get to use my encounter power! (Which is quite similar to my At-Will, but hey-ho.) Icy Terrain, burst 2 centred on G8, captures B1, M, E1 and E2. On a hit they take 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 and fall prone, and the burst area becomes difficult terrain until the end of my next turn. Rolling to hit:

Anastria enscribes the mark of her curse over the despicable halfling as she moves out of the hall and around the ice. She then channels the powers of her master and casts forth her mightiest spell over Morgana! Inflicting pain and despair in the Halflings mind and forcing her to roll towards Luce and Aurix. Feeling so much power flow through her is exillerating and smiling she can't help but dig deeper. She causes flames to erupt around the other cultist.

I take it the after-effect from Luces' Daily does not give 2 temp HP as B1 drops? Personally I couldn't really be sure of what the After-effect property was & may retrain that Daily at some point as it isn't very good, relies on an enemy dying and doesn't do too much damage. The only reason I went for it is the healing properties.

Woah there.
Anastria's curse settles on Morgana's brow, but the attack that follows is immediately re-directed at her hapless underling.
Sacrifice Underling - immediate interrupt. Morgana takes damage and redirects the attack at an ally within 5 squares. E1 gets it in the neck and drops dead.
Couple of things.
@Anastria - if you want, you can re-direct Witchfire at Morgana, as E1 is dead.
@Luce - I think you get the 2 hp. My gut feeling is that "aftereffect" works the same way as "effect" - i.e. it happens regardless of whether the attack hits or misses.
@Tiberious - you can move and charge if you like, which would get you to Morgana.

Varis slips into the vapors, his only sign being a minor cough as he passes through. Suddenly he busts through the other side, firing at the retreating halfling. His shot is weak, the toxins stinging his eyes, causing them to water.

Which side do you go up the stairs? If it's H then it's 7 for Luce, if M then 5.
Luce looks back at the cages, forlornly at hopefully where her brother sits; "We'll get you out, but she must be punished. Never to do this again..."
With a growl Luce slumps forward and shifts into a rangy wolf, with a snarl she sets of running after Morgana. A bound and she is up the stairs behind the evil priestess. A swipe of her claws and she tries to send her tumbling off the stairs to the hard flagged ground below.

Anastria moves past the low hanging ceiling to get a clear view of Morgana and muttering verse in an unearthly voice sends up a blast of energy at her.

Luce looks to the halfling and drawing upon her strength not to tear the throat out of the lady that imprisoned, hurt and possibly killed her brother, her kin, her blood.
Looking away with cold blue eyes, she shifts back into human form. Her flesh rippling until she stands there breathing hard a gleam in her eyes. She turns slowly back to the rest of the group; "Is thee alreet? Sorry for legging it off again." her voice soft as she slowly plods down the stair.
Luce then snaps out of her revere, never one to get down for too long, and moves quickly to the sacrificial slab in the centre of the room. Steeling her heart she looks at the victim and sees if there is anything she can do to save them.

Luce braces herself as she looks at the victim. The halfling on the slad is young - close to Luce's own age and badly wounded. The long gashes in her neck will heal given time, but for now all Luce can do is apply some first aid and help to stabilise her.
Movement from the cages behind Luce recall the gagged and bound prisoners. Hidden behind two more halflings, lies the figure of her brother.

Looking down at the young woman a stab of pain goes through her; 'At least she will be alright. Physically anyway.' she puts pressure and a bit of a bandage upon the wounds after applying a slave from her bone enlaid ash box. Gently brushing a errant strand of hair from the halflings face; she tells the others. "This wee lass'll be alreet, given a bit o' care."
Usually aware of her surroundings the movement stops Luces' heart and all other thoughts go out of her mind.
'Kyle' "Kyle!"
She moves over to the cages and looks to the halflings and her brother; "Is thee grand?" she asks barely realising that tears are flowing in subconcious relief.

Looking through the bars she softly speaks; "It's alreet lad, I am 'ere. Lil sis is 'ere. We'll git thee owt of there, thee did well protecting t'others. I 'ave Bess outside and thee canst all have a ride 'ome." she pushes the thought of her fathers' face when Kyle left out of her mind even if his voice echoes there. 'Bugger me if I'll let that ingrate back under me roof.'
"Better than Shanks' pony, eh lad." her voice hoarse and wane as she fumbles trying to open the cell door. She looks to the others for a bit of a hand.

Aurix snarls in satisfaction as the witch falls, then he turns his attention to the flustered Luce. With a growl and a snort, he stomps over and brushes her out of the way, raises his battleaxe in his hands and begins hacking at the cell door, finesse be damned. His body was sore and in pain and he wasn't in the best of moods.
The Dragonborn, once forcing the door open, backs away so the girl can be reunited with her brother. He then begins doing the same to each cell door to release the others.

Watching as the muscular dragonman smashes up the cell-door with his big chopper. Luce gently holds Aurix's arm as he passes to the next cell. "Thanks kindly."
She moves quickly to her brothers side and hugs him; ellicting a groan of pain she squeaks and backs up. "Sorry." quickly her fingers try to undo the bonds upon him.

As Aurix goes to swing again, Varis puts his hand on his arm to delay him. "If you keep bashing the locks, they will be harder for me to open." At this he displays a few thin metal tools in his hands and sets about finagling with the locking mechanism.
"Why don't some of you search the dead for keys, I doubt they picked their own locks."

Aurix and Varis nearly stumble over each other in their efforts to open the cages. As soon as the first opens, Luce is through and helping to free Kyle.
He is alive, but seems barely conscious. All the captives seems stupified. Their lethargy is not natural.
