I'm working 14-16 hour days this week and pretty much falling asleep when I get home. If I don't post pretty quickly, please feel free to run me as an overconfident and somewhat sociopath assassin.

Ok great!:
Nebel cackled with righteous ferver as he ritualistically strapped the suicide bomber vest to his torso. His legs had already been replaced with more efficient blade like appendages by Occuxs, They were made from carbomononuclearpolymer, his vest would act as the detonator. JT had convinced him this was the only way, only he could sneak within 5 kilometers of the central gallery. It was about urban renewal, it was about the God Emperor! His friends would be watching for his mushroom cloud calling card from outer space. He would have the most kills by a single assassin anywhere in the imperium since 39k. Gee, I can't wait to talk about this on Oprah! Nebel felt good knowing JT also took his wallet and rifle, you know, to keep the, safe.

Yeah haha! But I'm looking at things from a localized-expanding-out-to-sector perspective. It does take quite a bit of time for those huge clunky spaceships to move from system to system. Honestly, we did seem to have a bit of time. (20 days to next murder, 6 more murders to work with after the next, that places things around an additional 120 days, depending on time between scheduled murders). I requested the battle fleet merely as a "just-in-case" situation. The "Final Option" if you will.

Sorry about infrequent updates and answers lately. Ive been dealing with a bad cold on top of preparing for christmas and work. Hopefully everything will settle down before new years but I doubt i will have any chance to post between the 24th and the 26th due to six christmases in six cities. Appologies in advance.

Okay, so I'm gonna be heading down to Florida for the next week starting Saturday for my first vacation in around ten years, so, while I'm pretty sure our timeshare has wifi, and I'll be bringing my laptop, there's a healthy chance I won't have access to these forums for a week starting Saturday. If I'm holding back the party at all you can feel free to roleplay me as you see fit.
I just hope I won't be without. I'm enjoying this too much to miss out on a crucial part in the story over a stupid holiday trip!

"Oi humie, yous best be gettinz more Dakka!" - Translation: More guns couldn't hurt.
Actually, hrm, I'm not entirely sure. Some more toughness couldn't hurt it looks like and some sound constitution helps by giving more wounds but I've never played Dark Heresy before so I guess I'm not the guy to make these kinds of suggestions.

Just trying to confirm that you listed those advancements that are over and above our 600 to spend right?
If that is correct then I will do the following in Conscript advancements which looks like I can spend up to 500 points in.
0-500 exp conscript
Sound constitution x2 100, 100
Basic weapon training SP 100
Pistol SP. 100
basic weapon LAS. 100
And the following in Guard
QuickDraw 100

Ok, some questions.
On page 57, in table 2-4, Assassin Characteristic Advances. After you purchase the simple for a 5 point improvement, you have to purchase the intermediate for another 5 point improvement. So over the course of your career you can only improve your characteristics a total of 20 points. Is that correct?
Once I have advanced to Shadesman, can I no longer purchase Sell-Steel advances or are they cumulatively available?
Do I get back the fate point that I used or is it permanently gone?
I guess I am looking at probably taking (at a cost of 100 each):
Simple advance for Weapon Skill, Ballistic Skill, and Agility.
Then the Sound Constitution twice at the Sell-Steel level and once at the Shadesman level. That will get my wounds up to 13 which is a bit more in line with what I expected.

Ok, I want two of everything! But what I decided to buy was:
hot-shot charge for my compact las pistol, cost 15
telescopic sight and silencer for my hunting rifle, cost 45
hand cannon with red dot sight and silencer 1 clip each of standard (loaded), dum-dum, and man stopper ammo 135
drop harness 25
lamp pack 15
{I am assuming we still have the microbeads}
Reading closer I did find that I do not get back the fate point. I will have to earn them as we go. And the previous rank advances are still available. No problem.
I think next I will start saving for some mesh armor.

Yes, I am interested in this gun below. Kind of a dream list so let me know what you will allow.
Armageddon pattern autogun
Class: Basic (SP)
First imported to the hive factories of Calixis to
supply loyalist forces in the Tranch insurrection and the massive wave of mutant uprisings in Tranch’s Soot Warrens that followed, the Armageddon pattern proved itself both in the Tranch conflict and the decade of petty cult-inspired civil wars that plagued the Malfian sub in the following years. Still manufactured primarily on Malfi itself, the Armageddon is loud, lethal and uncomplicated; a heavy-hitter for an autogun, it fires large calibre solid slugs from a fifteen-round short box clip and can stand a phenomenal amount of abuse and keep firing. Since the uprisings, the Armageddon has become a staple of the arms trade in the Malfian sub and has started to make inroads into frontier areas where its stopping power and robust design rapidly gains converts.
JTs background is Tranch War Vet.
I would like to get a red dot sight for it, a scilencer, and a collapsible stock on it. Also could I get larger capacity magazines made for it like 18 or 24 or even a drum? JT is hoping it could be compact like this . . .
Compact so it could be carried along with the lasgun or combat shotgun, but still useful for being "quiet" unlike his fiasco with the lasgun in the cult room.
Other items on the wish list
Mark III FG at 10 each
Night vision goggles
Combat shotgun
Weapon upgrade to his existing pistol
Medical aids like stimpaks from Shadowrun
Armor upgrades
Fancy ammo
He has just enough for a hellgun but I don't know how that would affect the game.
JT gets 50 thrones a month per the book and had 80.
Please feel free to state what is available. This is my first time playing this system and I am having a great time with it,, but I am not. Up on all the rules or mechanics of how the gear would balance/unbalance the game.
