"An interesting evasion."

Ketchum suspected the creature honestly didn't know, which made Nonesuch more dangerous by far.

Richard groaned in frustration at that. Why not just tell everyone we're in the Inquisition and let everyone suspect know it. What was the damn point in disguises with these Grox-feeders... For once, he honestly wished all hell would break loose.

Ketchum had never seen anyone smile wider at the idea that they were going to die before. Nonesuch clearly knew something that they did not, and the Automaton wasn't giving up the goods. Fair enough. He knew that Nonesuch hadn't purchased a single item. He also would wager everything that this was the item that Nonesuch was after. He also believed strongly that, if Nonesuch got it, no one else was leaving this island alive. Let the games begin....

.oO ( roj had half a mind to reach into the depths of his pocket and bid one throne for that was one more then he now believes the riddle producing machine is worth )

roj waits patiently for the bidding war to begin but keeps an eye out for anything out of ordinary taken slient photos with a blink of his augmented pict recorder of the machine and all those taken an interest in it.

.oO (any moment this place is goung to break loose I can feel it.... best be on guard from these freaks)

Magyar Marshrek stands pushing his fur pelts over his shoulder.

"I have a question for you! Is Haarlock truely dead?"

The automaton shifts it's gaze toward him. "The traveller and the scion both do live, one without and the other within. Blood of his blood, born of his line, flesh so frail caught in this web, death shall be their inheritance. Haarlock returns and hell follows with him!"

At this last pronouncement, the Mourners fall to their knees wailing and screaming as the whole structure starts to shake and a roar echoes up from the bowels of the earth. The lights flicker and distant explosions can be heard, servo-skulls drop from the air, and servitors collapse lifeless. After a few moments, the complex stops shaking and the roar steadies down to a continuous low rumble.

"Know this, the traveller has set our course and the ship cannot be turned. Thirteen hours you have, thirteen hours until his wrath drowns you all in fire and ash, sealed here in the tomb that has been prepared. Fitting punishment for you who would take from him what is his. Never do you learn the lessons of the past, doomed to repeat history’s sins. But first you will suffer, first you will be shriven!

"You have but one chance and one chance alone to placate the traveller. One gift will assuage his just fury: Give me the blood of the scion of Haarlock, let it flow to fill this chalice and you shall live, but if my cup remains empty the Children of the Kingdom will gnaw your flesh and darkness will bury your bones."

There is a few moments of shocked silence, followed by Master Nonesuch smiling and slowly applauding, whilst some of the more quick-witted attendees begin to flee, and a lot of people pick themselves up off the floor, dazed and confused by the shocking turn of events.

Provost Bland staggers dazed to his feet and cries out, asking what it all means, at which point Greel rears up behind him screaming "Fools! You are trapped here, buried alive! Death to the defilers of the tombs! Death to those who profane his name by stealing from our master!"

At which point a power blade springs from his staff to form a scythe and he cuts Provost Bland in two in a welter of gore.

The mourners start wailing "We are the dead!" and draw silver blades from beneath their robes and fall upon bystanders and guards attacking indiscriminately. The chaos spreads quickly!

Please roll initiative and decide what you want to do as this place went super crazy super fast!

Auraxis shakes his head, "Ricard can you and Ketchum secure or kill Nonesuch? I will handle the capture of Captain Rubio, Roj - kill every other heretic in this room, it seems there will be blood here and let us hope none of it is ours".

Remember none of you have weapons unless you have powers at your disposal. If your intention is to attack just roll init for now and I will roll for those you wish to attack as well. i don't want to roll for everyone in this room will just interact with who your interacting with the rest will be done via dialog from me.

Initiative 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

The Malfian Noble snarled under his breath, spitting up a small amount of blood. Bastards must have overloaded the core generator at the Alter of Fire or something... Dammit that wasn't good."To hell with Nonesuch, Rubio takes priority. Secure his safety, no one else matters." As Nihil slowly picks himself up from the floor, he turns his head to Lady Octavia. "Logican, if you ever wish to use your precious encrypted tome, I would suggest we work together and save ourselves from being turned to molten slag."

Auraxis now has a Las Pistol in his hand.

Greel doesn't seem to be affected by the blinding flash. He looks quickly at the chaos in the room and runs for an exit.

Magyar Marshrek
He starts yelling and also goes for the exit but is intercepted by 2 mourners who start to attack him.

Octavia Guards
They are still blinded and put their fists up as if to protect themselves and appear to know how to fight quite well even when blinded as they disable a mourner that approaches them.

If any of you have Forbidden Lore Xenos you may make a roll to figure out what Nonesuch is.

Fear test-10 1d100 ⇒ 40

Success.

Torn between facing Nonesuch and protecting the team, Mindblade whispers a quiet curse. He grabs Nihil by the shoulder, steering him towards Rubio and the door as he summons his force sword into his other hand.

Greel is gone...

Master Nonesuch
Master Nonesuch clicks a button on his cane and it transforms resembling a corroded copper sceptre. The mourner lets out a eerie shriek and then turns into ash as his body is disintegrated.

Octavia Adept
The hooded man moves close to Octavia "We need to get out of here now mistress!"

Abbot Tamas of Shale
Abbot Tamas speaks some words of dark sorcery holding his hands out in a crushing motion at one of the approaching mourners.

Nihil
You are blind and Mindblade just grabbed you trying to pull you out of here. What do you want to do?

Nihil wanders about aimlessly do, cursing for his inability to see. He suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and was about ready to punch them had he not heard the muttering of Mindblade. Put at ease for a fraction of a moment. Upon hearing Nonsuch's scream, he went slightly pale for a moment, his blindness making him more fearful than usual. "What in the Maelstrom was that?...." he muttered low towards Mindblade, moving in the direction he was guided.

Auraxis
Your up. Mindblade is starting to lead Nihil out of here followed by Octavia and her Adept.

Auraxis will head to the exit the Las Pistol so considerately placed in his hand by Mindblade ready to pick off anyone who stand in his way. Auraxis swerves slightly around the room in an attempt to pick up the Silver Key the group paid for at auction, they did win it fair and square after all.

As he approaches Rubio, "Captain, I think you may want to come with us, I assure you that we will offer better protection that those men you left behind".

The auction items weren't actually in the same room as you guys they were just holographic images that were on display for them. You all just gonna leave blind Illidan there?

Nonesuch Servants
They just stand near their master watchful of everything going on around them.

Quill
He is being dragged out by Vymer and still looks shocked by the events unfolding.

Most of you have made it out of the room now except for Mindblade who stood back a bit and Octavias Adept. In the halls up ahead there are bodies all over. The massacre did not just happen in the room you were in. This place must house over a hindered mourners and they all synchronized their attacks. Adpets, PDF and general staff litter the halls with blood everywhere.

Mindblade

Auraxis turns to Nihil, "Do you have a plan here or are we just winging it?"

With his other hand he is guiding Illidan and shepherding Rubio with a stare.

Dodge 1d100 ⇒ 47 vs 58

roj growls through gritted teeth " how in the world was he able to sneak that in. Might as well not have any kind of security if one can waltz in with a photon bomb in their pockets" with one arm holding auraxis shoulder trying to keep up with the groups movement, pointing his gun in directions of random screams to give the impression that he is not hindered and ready for action appearance is everything "when my sight returns I will need my 'tools' to work"

"A true son of Malfai always has a plan, Master Sardon. But first order of business, we must retrieve our belongings from the guest room if we expect to hold any sort of chance. Yes?"

Of course, he was purely lying out of his ass. He didn't have a plan nor did he really expect one to come to him any time soon. He was expecting something to come to him on the way to retrieve their gear... Here's to hoping, ya? His attention (no longer blinded) now turned to Captain Rubio as they moved, stepping over bodies and the like.

"But I believe the last inheritor of Haarlock's line can illuminate to us a little bit onto this situation..."

roj looks towards the sound of ricards voice "Mi' Lord Ricard, are we to acquire the items of the auction ? Doubt it be a good idea to leave those items behind."

.oO (with all the commotion bet we'd get them at a 'discount', in the name of the emperor. These heretic items must be confiscated for the good of the imperium)

Rubio looks a bit upset at Nihil's remark.

"I do not know what you talk of and as far as I'm aware my family has no connection to the Haarlock bloodline. I only came here to possibly acquire some rare artifacts to bring up my families standing but looks where we are now. We are all as good as dead!"

He begins to break down a bit and Octavia slaps him on the back of the head.

"Calm down Rogue Trader!"

She glares at Nihil a bit.
