1d100 ⇒ 79 vs 58

Mindblade's head explodes as the round punches through his helmet.

1d100 ⇒ 39 vs 41

Success

Mindblade shoves past the parasites, ignoring them as he races after Nonesuch.

"Nonesuch has the key! Vape him!"

Mindblade winds up to chop Parasite 1 into bite-sized pieces. (All-out Attack.)

First attack 1d100 ⇒ 9 vs 77

Second attack 1d100 ⇒ 28 vs 77

Third attack 1d100 ⇒ 6 vs 77

Fourth attack 1d100 ⇒ 82 vs 77
Blademaster Re-roll 1d100 ⇒ 78 vs 77

Damage
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Mindblade sprang at one of the Parasites.

Charge attack 1d100 ⇒ 92 vs 67

Blademaster re-roll 1d100 ⇒ 32 vs 67

Damage 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Awareness 1d100 ⇒ 20

Psyniscience 1d100 ⇒ 46
(To figure out exactly what is causing the warp interference.)

Both successes.

(That's exactly what I'm saying. He's obviously a Witch.)

"You're a warpspawn, and Greel consorts with daemons. He takes priority, but not by much. We either deal with the situation at hand, or we destroy each other. Decide quickly. My patience is at an end."

(Does Nonesuch respond?)

Mindblade lowers his swords, but remains ready to bring them up in a mere instant to defend Rubio or any member of the group.

"I think we should hear what Greel has to say. I suggest a temporary cease-fire until we all know more. What say you, Nonesuch?"

He didn't trust Nonesuch as far as he could throw him, but that still left an extraordinary latitude to maneuver.

Mindblade spun and attacked the Mourner (5) who was giving Nihil such trouble.

Power Roll 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 vs 6 for Killing Will

First attack 1d100 ⇒ 83 vs 57

Willpower check 1d100 ⇒ 86 vs 54

Second attack 1d100 ⇒ 33 vs 57

Blademaster reroll for First Attack 1d100 ⇒ 27

Damage
First Attack 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16 Pen 6
Second Attack 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 Pen 6
Third Attack 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 Pen 6

(I need to know how many attacks I can get if I move to Mourner 5. It matters for my decision as Greel is getting to do whatever he wants and I'm the only one in position to engage him.)

Mindblade roared his frustration at being unable to prevent the mourners from reaching his companions. Yet another failure on his part.

He would take his frustration out on the closest Mourner.

Power Roll 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 vs 6 for Killing Will

First attack 1d100 ⇒ 23 vs 57

Willpower check 1d100 ⇒ 28 vs 54

Second attack 1d100 ⇒ 39 vs 57

Third attack 1d100 ⇒ 9 vs 57

Fourth attack 1d100 ⇒ 38 vs 57

(Wouldn't he have had to disengage to move past me? I charged ahead of the rest of the group. Not trying to be a pain. Just trying to understand the picture in my head.)

(Well, they got them against me when I was going over the barricade back on the second planet. So I would assume there's something that covers it.)

(The corridor was wide enough for him to move past me without being attacked?)

Mindblade swings his sword at the nearest Mourner.

Attack 1d100 ⇒ 97 vs 77
Power roll for Killing Will 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 vs 7
Willpower roll 1d100 ⇒ 15 vs 54

Blademaster re-roll 1d100 ⇒ 15

Mindblade lets out a battle cry and charges the mourners. (Let me know if I get there and how many attacks I would have left when I do.)

1d10 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Mindblade winced beneath his helm, assuming the bravery comment was directed at him. He tightened the grip on his swords, determined to redeem himself if it was the last thing he ever did.

Mndblade whispers a soft prayer to the Emperor for courage and guidance before following along.

(Grr. Let me know when I can make the willpower roll.)

1d100 ⇒ 51 vs 44

Mindblade prepares for yet another assault, and waits.

"On that we can agree. I'm highly tempted to destroy the widow and face the daemon within. My patience is wearing thin."

(Can I use my precision telekinesis to remove his helmet without hurting him further?)

"Never doubt the Emperor's protection, brothers. He is the source of our strength."

Refusing to give up hope quite so easily, Mindblade kneels at Rubio's side and opens himself to the warp, allowing it's healing power to flow through him.

Power roll1d10 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 vs 7
Heals 1d5 ⇒ 4 if successful

(Hold action again.)

Damage to other Serf: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

Mindblade swings his blades in mighty arcs, a strike for each remaining serf, starting with the one attacking himself.

Attack 3:1d100 ⇒ 80 vs 57

Blademaster on Attack 2: 1d100 ⇒ 35 vs 57

(Will roll damage after killing will is adjudicated)

"Master Illidan, do you happen to have your flamer handy?"

(Hold action.)

Willpower Test: 1d100 ⇒ 62 vs 54

Damage 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Righteous Fury (Damn right)
Damage 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

(And since Rubio is unconcious, I wonder if he actually saw anthing at all.)

A bellow of rage rips from Mindblade's lips as bolts of force leap from his outstretched hand to race at Shale.

"Die, Heretic!"

Power roll 4d10 + 5 ⇒ (9, 9, 7, 10) + 5 = 40 vs. 21

Willpower roll to hit: 1d100 ⇒ 23 vs 54

(Holy F*&%)
(Need adjudication to continue, boss.)

Not wanting to get separated from his charge, Mindblade holds his twin force swords in his hands in a double-guard position, prepared to strike whoever got close.

(Hold action.)

(What about Rubio? I assume he will do something to help save his own life.)

Init. 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Mindblade moves in front of Rubio, already well aware of what the Abbot is after. He would not get it while Mindblade drew breath.

Mindblade draws both swords and prepares to defend his charges to the death if need be.

(Is there a way that I can open the doors with my telekinetic powers?)

"I concur. The Crypts are the likeliest location to find Greel and end him."

Mindblade limps along behind the group, trying to keep his intestines from sloshing about messily.

Mindblade nods thanks to Nihil before his hand begins to glow. He places his hand upon his own chest.

Power: Healer
Power Roll: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 vs 7

Wounds healed: 1d5 ⇒ 1

"If the Widow is generating the forcefield, I suggest we destroy her. If not, I suggest we destroy her anyways. She's obviously a conduit to Haarlock and the Warp."

Mindblade skids to a halt and points a hand at the remaining guard, bolts of force leaping from his palm to race at him.

Power Roll 4d10 + 5 ⇒ (9, 1, 8, 10) + 5 = 33 vs 21

Willpower to hit 1d100 ⇒ 73 vs 44

Mindblade swears under his breath and leaps to the pursuit of Octavia. She was now a security risk and needed to be dealt with. (In Pursuit.)

Mindblade moves to pull Rubio and the guard to whom he owed his life into cover.

(How does one get 4 attacks with one sword? I want that ability.)

1d100 ⇒ 1 vs 58 dodge

"You were warned. I name thee Heretic."

With that proclamation, the man was sentenced to die.

1d100 ⇒ 71 vs 57

1d100 ⇒ 75 vs 57

1d100 ⇒ 55 vs 57

1d100 ⇒ 3 vs 57

Damage 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Fate Point on Willpower roll 1d100 ⇒ 98 vs 54

1d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Mindblade steps between the adept and Rubio, both swords suddenly in his hands.

"Stop, by the power of the Inquisition. This man will not be sacrificed to this heretical device."

The time for subterfuge was past. Mindblade saw that, even if the others did not.

Mindblade watched silently, his hands away from his weapons. He felt they were making some mistakes here, but he waited for Nihil to take charge. If he didn't, Mindblade knew he would have to do something to keep the situation from deteriorating any further.

Mindblade looks at Nihil, the cock of his head asking the obvious, though silent, question.

(Is the time for subterfuge now behind us?)

Mindblade wipes his nose with the back of his glove before turning to face the Widow.
