"The only luck we might have had since we stepped on this hell-hole."

Nihil shrugged.

Auraxis hurris to the Noble House but pauses for a second to contact his fellow Acolytes, "This is a hell of a break, ow do we know it is not another trap?"

Not waiting for a response, Auraxis continues to move forward assuming that the group will deal with any trap and that the God Emperor will protect them if it is.

"Do we ever know if it's not a trap? And at this point, do we have a choice in the matter?"

Illidan steps out with his new Carbine ready to go
"Its always a trap, best be on your guard"

Illidan will activate his auspex scanner to detect life forms so they are not ambushed

"Activating Scanner to detect life forms in our area. these things do not last long so we will have to move fast but best be careful"

Sense Presence 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (3, 2) + 5 = 10 vs 7

The House of Amorite sits on the edge of the cliff above the water of the Saint's Mouth in District VII. Within a high stone wall lies a grand, three-story house built of pale stone and roofed in black slate amidst a tangle of undergrowth; its windows sealed by shutters, and its surface crawling with thick vines.

You all meet there at about the same time and the double iron gates appear to have been forced open and the driveway is churned with heavy footprints. The slip gates and main doors to the manse have both been broken in by brute force and two ancient guardian servitors lay in pieces just beyond it; their tarnished brass components still twitching.

For auspex you need to make awareness check +20 but you do realize it won't work past these walls they are too thick. Same for your sense presence.

What do you do?

Mindblade draws his force sword and strides through the gates and moves towards the house.

(Keeping Sense Presence sustained. It may not work out here, but it will work inside.)

Illidan mind is filled with vision of demons and unsanctioned wrap dabblers who call upon these foul creatures of the warp and sprints to the entrance of Mansion drawing out his Bolt Carbine.

"Has to be a powerful sources to deal this much damage to this kind of weaponry." Illidan activates his pict recorder. "Damage to the front gates, thick tracks, busted servitors yet no bodies from our offenders no blood from what I see so far looks like a one sided battle. they must be strong. "

Illidan your not trained in basic bolt yet so if you fire that thing your at -20 just so your aware

G Emp:

3 post back of mine I stated that I was taking bolt training

Illidan wrote:

Along the way to House of Amorite Illidan fiddles with his Bolt carbine muttering some sorta of incantation. You see his eyes fading in and out of the warp as he studies his gun taking the pieces together removing the clip checking ammo count. A couple dry fires. Illidan believe he has the general understanding of this bolt gun SPENDING 100exp

I'd like to have spend 100 exp on bolt gun training

Ugh post your exp spending in the discussion thread instead of this one.

"The God Emperor will protect us in this place!" With that Auraxis says a short prayer to Him and strides forward boldly his bolt pistol in hand.

Auraxis will use Holy Radiance to grant all of his allies protection from Daemonic possession as well as a +10 on all Fear tests.

Upon hearing the Noble Arbite's prayer Illidan feels a soothing quality piercing through the hatred he feels. A connection to a divine power beyond him although he is still pretty pissed about the demons. " I think you missed your calling"

Nihil had to pause for a brief moment to control the aching shiver that crawled up his spine. The radiance of the Emperor was something that Nihil felt nauseous around these days. Not out of choice but simply because of what watched his every waking moment. He didn't need the Emperor's protection. He had his own.

"Oh yes, janitorial service seems much more suited for your holy wrath."

He said as a light-hearted joke.

"I will be the purifier of human evil for sure Lord Dragorus!"

The interior of the house is dark, with only vague shapes of rooms and furniture visible. There are shapes of grand furniture, portraits and artifacts all draped in thick cobwebs. The house smells of dust and neglect.

As you look around you hear screams and the sound of struggle from upstairs!

Just behind her on a metal stand sits a piece of mirror like a jaded crescent moon, its surface reflecting the flickering light of the candles.

"Hey, Ugly!"

He called out to the creature before pulling the trigger.
