I would be happy to play either of these.
If Dalsine affair- I'd probably play my (now) 3rd level sorceress with good face skills.
If Empyreal temple- I'd like to play my 1st level zen archer/druid- depending on tier.
If you play at higher Tiers that's absolutely fine, but I'd probably bow out, so I can leave the opportunities open for my own characters in the future.
Thanks for much fun!

Sorry, played Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment. I can play the Dalsine Affair! I don't have any options at higher tiers, as my highest lvl character is 4th, but I would rather keep playing Fung.
I do not mind playing a module either, and the only one that I have credit for is Crypt of the Everflame, but Fung wouldn't be able to do that one anyway.

Here is Gerald's ranger/rogue profile. Just have to make a quick shopping run before we start.

Is it possible to purchase a masterwork sling? :p Slings have no cost. Would it be 300 gp?
Also, is anyone else doing anything for Way of the Kirin? Do we have an epilogue coming?

What modules would be on the table, GM? What about sections of Adventure Paths? They just posted the Chronicle Sheets for Skull & Shackles today... :)
EDIT: The attraction of the Dalsine Affair, for me, is that I heard it was great for roleplaying opportunities...

Yup i'd love to play a full AP (expect for RoTRL and jade regent) (not sure on section of AP as i rather prefer to play the full story of the AP)
i just started playing pathfinder a few month ago so i am trying to get into the lore....

For strictly PFS characters, each book has sanctioned sections that can be run as stand-alone modules.
Alternatively, you can play the actual adventure path with any house rules you want, and then when you complete the sanctioned areas, the GM can report the session and the players can apply the chronicles to a PFS character of appropriate level, but I don't think I have time for a whole AP, so on here, I would rather do the stand alone modules/sections... :)

On another note, I am also interested in the Blakros Matrimony, because I attended PaizoCon last year and at the Convocation it was all about the set up and selecting a suitable suitor for Lady Blakros.
That one is also supposed to be a rp heavy scenario. ^_^

I have played Murder's mark ( a fun adventure)
and from sea to shore is Great Lore but brutal and deadly.
And unfortunately i won't do parts of any AP as i wish to play them entirely even though i haven't been able to be picked for these yet apart of Jade regent or RoTRL (sorry if that seems a bit pain in the neck)

Al Suresh's points are well taken. I vote for The Dalsine Affair at Tier 3-4, do we want to see if we can get one or two more to join in?

![]() |

If we play 3/4, we'd better get a couple more. Shel at second level, isn't going to contribute much to a fight, unfortunately.

![]() |

Oh yeah, forgot! Plus you are a melee ranger, right? Yeah, if we can get a couple more then play 3-4, but if not, I think I can play down...

![]() |

I actually think we're good with what we've got...
Combat- Paladin, Magus, Monk, Ranger
Skills- Bard, Rogue
Divine- Paladin, Ranger
Arcane- Sorcerer, Magus
And I tend to think more players slow down PbPs.
But if you *are* going to look for more, and it's okay with y'all, I might play my Druid/Zen Archer 1. She's the one I'm trying to crank XP for.
So then we'd need another arcane.

![]() |

It mostly depends on if Al Suresh plays as a magus. What worries me is that the ranger/rogue is a melee type which means he can't stay back and take pot-shots. Which means to me that we will need more healing.
As for more players, I agree, unless they are very understanding of the posting speed of this current group. ^_^
I'm okay with playing down though, as long as it is possible in this scenario.

![]() |

If Al Suresh plays the magus, we should have the front line damage covered to play up, but I do worry about a low level paladin being our only source of healing. Shel's got a wand she'd be happy to share, but I'm not sure if that would be enough.

There is a change in the reward a character gets when playing up. he gets only his tier of gold and not the play up gold.
dut i don't remember when that rule is going in effect. i think i recall it going live in a month with the new PFS campaign guide.

![]() |

Ah, well, I noticed the wording of the guide, and if the tiers for Dalsine Affair is truly 1-2, 3-4, and 5-7 then we won't get a choice in the matter. It looks like we are going to be playing 3-4 regardless, because we won't be in between tiers.
@Kyra: Is your Bard Sorc a Bard 3/Sorc 3? Because that will bring our APL up closer to 4, which will still put us at the 3-4 tier.
@Al Suresh: So what will that mean for characters that are in-between, because they don't fit in a tier, do they automatically take the lower of the two? (Making it better to play a 3-7 Scenario at 3rd than a 1-5...)
EDIT: Was this from a blog? Thread?

My sorcerer is Sorcerer 2/ Bard 1
My other character is either Zen Archer 1 OR Druid 1 (Since she's only at first it's malleable right now.) A Zen Archer kicks reasonable butt even at first, but if you want another divine caster, then she'll go that way. Mostly via wands. Summon critters than spam wand.
