In the strange chaos that seems to emanate fron the group like the warmth from the Vernal Key, Kosti keeps his eyes on the Jarl.
The Jarl quickly scurries around the group and places himself right in front of Attalas
Hah! Now I remember what lies beyond this wall of ice - it's my treasury and there is no need to enter it, everything is stored safely inside it.
"Ah, but don't you want to get inside to retrieve what you can carry? You're not coming back after all aren't you?"
Jez looks to the Jarl:
Well, isn't that strange. Surely since you are never planning on returning here, after all you might get stuck in the maze again, you will want to retrieve your stuff. Good thing we happened to go this direction.
She turns to Attalas:
Keep up the great work big guy.
While everyone expects an outrage of wrath from the Jarl at any moment, the mighty spiri-giant just smiles and follows Jez' logic
You're right...surely I don't want to return and carrying all this stuff would be very exhausting...so, go ahead my mighty ogre friend!
the Jarl steps aside and Attalas is able to melt a big hole into the back wall of the treasury.
For a moment you're awe-stricken...a large pile of gold surrounded by chests and barrels with valuables fills the back of the room - a swarm of ice mephits is circling above it and for a second it seems like they are about to attack the intruders, but once they see the Jarl, they stay away.
"Ugh, that's going to be really heavy isn't it? I might get sore feet"
Jez looks at Attalas:
Don't worry big boy. I can carry as much as 73 halflings.
She then turns to look back at the treasure and casts Detect Magic to see if there is anything other then gold in the pile.

Laughing at Mobo's exuberance, after scanning for magic, Jez calls upon her new arcane powers and suddenly a translucent disembodied hand appears, more like a tiny dragon's claw actually, which begins to pick uo coins and toss them in the air giving Mobo a rain shower of golden coins.

Magic energies are emanated by:
a book
a cup
but the mass of coins, gems and and other things is still impressive.
Pretty much ignoring the Jarl, Jez looks to Attalas and Ragnvald.
Guess we better start gathering this. Gonna be quite a load and we do not want to have it get lost in the ice.

Careful here...it seems wet already, I will see what I can do to keep it dry
The Jarl doesn't object but grins
Well, I didn't expect my rescuers to be so friendly, hehe...ok, everyone grab some treasures and then we get out of here.
Jez also gathers up as many coins as she can. She likes the way that the gold coins match the golden scales the show beneath her blue hair on the back of her neck.
Attalas takes his time to carry his fill..
Loaded and quite happy you march back to the wall you had nearly melted through in the first place.
The Jarl looks at Attalas, then at the wall and at Attalas again.
So, we're nearly at the end of our journey...
"Really? I been walking forever. Can I have a rest yet? I'm hungry"
Since the Jarl didn't protest when he took the book, Kosti picks up the cup as well, leaving the money for others. He continues to follow the group, a bit absent minded, while pondering the possible enchantmenst of the items.
The Jarl sighs, but looking at Attalas and the others all carrying his precious treasures he shrugs and confesses
Well, I've been here for a very long time...one more break won't kill me... and so he nods and signals his mephits to fetch furs for Attalas and the others to sit down.

"Good" Attalas keeps filling his pockets.
The Jarl waits pateintly for about an hour, but after that gets more and more nervous...after three hours he he loses his temper and smshes his shoulder into the wall...only to rebound without having caused any damage
I'm tired of waiting! We leave now!
he demands with firm voice.
Jez takes a bite of whatever she can find, she is not too discerning.
But, where will you go? It is a long distance back to the cold north. What are your plans?
Diplomacy:
Plans? Hah...first and foremost revenge...those who trapped me in this icy hell will feel my rwath...I will tear them limb from limb, skin and flay them and afterwards restore their health just to do it again, hah!
the eyes of the Jarl now have the colour of charcoal and his skin has taken on a crimson shade.
You with the Vernal Key, how much longer do you have to rest?

"Not resting now, I got bags of gold... I want to go spend em on fat cows!" Attalas gets to work.
Ragnvald who discreetly filled every pocket and his sack with plenty of gold merely smiles at the JArl's plans for revenge.
"May your path be long and bloody."
As if there were any doubt about the bloody.
The Jarl gives Attalas a pat on the back and smiles from ear to ear
Exactly what I wanted to hear! Melt you damn cold prison, melt!
Then, as if kicked by an invisible reminder, he turns to Jez
Who imprisoned me? Let's say a gang of Katapeshi impostors...that's as precise as I can be...
How cute...
The Jarl remarks and waits for Attalas to melt through the ice wall.
It takes only moments until the Jarl - after his imprisonment that felt like an aeson - sets his foot on non-frozen ground
Free! I'm free!
"All sounds gibberish to me too, maybe he's castin spells?" Attalas confides in Mobo.
While the JArl celebrates and rips into the inevitable monologue Ragnvald quickly shoves everyone outside. Treachery being one of those things that come all too easy in moments like this.
The blue haired girl follows the larger men, and the ogre riding goblin, out of the glacier enjoying what little additional heat is then present.
Ok, you can put the treasures over there...and you can all keep a small piece for yourself, I'm generous today.
The Jarl bellows with hands on his hips and his gaze fixed on the horizon.
Kosti waits until most of the gold is put down (if it indeed is), pondering his chances of keeping both items or slipping it to Jeszbazeel to keep instead of some useless bauble,
But you were going to leave the treasure behind and told us to take it ourselves.
Jez looks up at the big ogre.

"That sounds ok, as long as I get to say what piece of treasure I get" Attalas nods sagely.
The Jarl sighs and turns to Attalas
And what piece of treasure would that be?
he gives Jez only a dismissive gaze.
Ragnvald will detect magic on the pile of collected goods and nonchalantly point those out as having the msot value. We did drag out all the magic stuff correct?
When Kosti sees Ragnvald starting to cast a spell, he just hopes he does as he himself did and puts himself somewhere close to the pile of treasure, book in one hand, cup in the other, as if pondering so a possible detect magig will include them.

"You must think I am a big dumb Ogre, because the treasure you chuck in a room is just a collection of spare stuff, a smart Jarl carries his best wealth on him and fighters treasure weapons most. You want deal, I get your sword you get the treasure, or you keep the sword and I get the treasure. Just coz you carrying some of the treasure doesn't mean it can't be counted. I want a Jarl sword, so I can be a Jarl of Ogres"
