The patron stumples over to the bar, "Heey III knnoowww yo..u, you kkkeepp daaa goodddd stuuffff." He says sluggishly to the bartender. Then tries to gauge his response to his ruse.

Karsielle |

Turning to her friends, Karsielle seems less than impressed with the information she aquired here, although it was good to confirm that Montrose was with Topaz. Quietly she speaks to the girls, You know, I remember now, Revel said 'The last I heard she was living in a rough place down in Scurveytown called The Stormy Gables.' and I doubt we'll get much more information from our friend here." She shakes her hair, as she draws a deep breath and continues, Once Silas and Bloody have finished their dealings, perhaps we should take a trip down that way." She straightens her stance once more, continuing is quiet tones,"Well what do you think?"

DM Sinvel |

Silas palms a few gold pieces the barkeep's way, and asks "Give me a run down, will you?"
The man shows his gold teeth again when he sees the gold. "I don't know the bastard well, he only came in here twice, both times carrying one of my customers out against her will. Good riddance to them both. That girl, I think Tpoaz was her name, started getting into real bad stuff...Abyss Dust. We don't cater to that kind of crowd, that is mean stuff."

DM Sinvel |

The patron stumples over to the bar, "Heey III knnoowww yo..u, you kkkeepp daaa goodddd stuuffff." He says sluggishly to the bartender. Then tries to gauge his response to his ruse.
After telling Silas about Topaz the bartender looks over to one of his "customers" and says "Hey Tarvin, you want the usual?" It seems as though the bartender buys the disguise.

DM Sinvel |

"Abyss Dust, huh? Know a place where someone might get a hold of some?" Silas clinks a few more coins in his hand.
"Aye, we don't sell such garbage here. The watch don't like it either, see, so they give places like mine a hard time if they sell that crap. They ain't no places that do sell it that I know of." the man says as he hands another customer a pipe.
Karsielle isn't able to recall much about Scurveytown at the moment other than it is one of the worst places to live in the city of Freeport.

Tarvin listens on the story and tries to aid, "SSsuuureee that stufff earrrrllier bareley workking, III rremmemberr thattt ttiimmee III waass sssuprriisseedd tooo haave a ggirrl inn hheerree andd a liitttle hhhapppier buutt waassn't ttthherre a fella rrrreallly anggreyy thaattt reeeddd mmmmannn took hheer outtt bessssidesss meee? Mishael |

Mishael leans into Karsielle and quietly whispers, "Karsielle, I think you're right about that being our next stop. I don't think the boys are making a lot of progress inside either. They've confirmed that Topaz and Montrose have been here and that Montrose took her out. Sounds like she was in bad with a drug called Abyss Dust."
"Hey, either of you ever heard of Abyss Dust sources in Scurveytown?"

Karsielle |

Karsielle takes a small book from her pocket, covered with holy symbols, wasps, men and woman in erotic positions, vials with pictures of death. "Let me see if it might be known to the temple." Her long slender fingers flick over the pages, until she stop, flickers her long lashes as her eyes focus on the page. "Hmmmm, let me see."

Bloody, Mishael, and Suny: Anyone who sells abyss dust must be deep underground because you have no idea where someone would fine anything like that.
So, is it time to look for her at her apartment?

DM Sinvel |

Having gathered what they could, the group sets off towards Scurvytown. Walking east through The Docks it becomes quite apparent once the Scurvytown borders draws near. Buildings sit in disrepair, the streets are filled with waste, and most of the people walking the street are thin and often dressed in nothing more than rags.
Eventually Topaz's apartments, The Stormy Gables, is found. The Gables hasn’t been painted in decades. Peeling flecks of yellowed paint litter its worn, dirt-tracked floor, while in several places the lath peeks through the cracking plaster.
A pair of rickety double doors lay past a courtyard that is filled with trash and broken furniture.

Mishael |

Mishael walks confidently through Scurveytown. Upon reaching the Gables, she looks around the exterior and visible courtyard to see if anyone is present.

"What do you all think, shall we head inside and see if anyone knows Montrose or the girl?"

Karsielle |

Unsure of the area, Karsielle is aware her beauty might bring more than appreciative eyes, she periodically looks back, making sure she has attracted no followers, or more correctly thieves and thugs. "Not a part of town I care to come to, derelict of both building and people. Dirty and unkempt, the smell of the sewage is probably sweeter than the smell of rot and decay here." She wipes a cloth of sweet smelling perfume under her nose to temporarily replace the foul odour of the place.
Once at Topaz's building, she stops and with a certain amount of disgust in her eyes she takes the place in. She quietly speaks under her breath, "Эта душа(Topaz) до вашего наркомании и купил низким, ее права и Ваш численность моя Королевы." Almost with thinking she continues in common, "Should we leave one of us by the door, you never know what might befall. Either to warn us of trouble or maybe to aid our departure. Tis but a thought, for we surely don't have long before we have to enter. As Mishael says we will have to ask about her."

As Bloody Flag strides through scruvey town, he's confident with his moves since the people of this area know to fear the dark specter of death know as Bloody Flagg or at least he thinks they do.
"I'll stay by the door my dear seductress, the public with keep there distance from this dwelling." After he says that he mutters a few familiar words of power and recasts the spell of message on him Silas and Mischael.
"So we all can stay in contact, and just call me if you need my assistance." With that he will stand guard my the door with a scowl to ward of any one thinking of going near it.

"No offence, but I be thinkin' I'll be lookin' down that alley an' gettin' ready fer anyone or anything whut decides t' leave that way afore talkin' t' ye." Suny says quietly and then moves off to cover said exit.
So, move to look down the alley as Karsielle and Mishael head into the building.

Karsielle |

"No offence, but I be thinkin' I'll be lookin' down that alley an' gettin' ready fer anyone or anything whut decides t' leave that way afore talkin' t' ye." Suny says quietly and then moves off to cover said exit.
So, move to look down the alley as Karsielle and Mishael head into the building.
Then it's Mishael, Silas, Karsielle on the way in...that order.

DM Sinvel |

From the outside the group can see that the building is three stories tall. Mishael opens the door and sees a dirty vestibule. Inside is a pair of doors, one on the left wall and the other on the right wall. Across the room, past the dirty uneven wooden floor on the far wall, is a set of stairs leading up.
Everyone can hear what sounds to be a man singing poorly falsetto voice coming from the door on the right.

DM Sinvel |

"Hallo, who's there?"
Mishael hears the singing stop and a few moments later the door opens. Mishael can smell an overpowering odor of cheap perfume as an obese lady standing nearly seven feet tall greets her.
"Yes, how may I help ye?" she says in the same fake falsetto voice that was singing just a moment before and then gives a big smile which shows her lipstick stained teeth. About this time it occurs to Mishael that this person is not a woman, but a very poorly rendered drag queen.

Mishael |

Mishael is all business when she speaks, "Possibly. We're looking for a girl. More properly, we're looking for her man. Girl's name is Topaz. Man is a tall sort, nearly as tall as you, but with a bushy beard no hair and large hoop earrings. It'll be worth your while."

Silas Vayn |

Silas keeps an eye out, more from general wariness than from actually trying to find something. "I don't like this place. Coming here always gives me the creeps." He keeps a firm hand near his sword.
As they enter Topaz's residence, he finds it difficult to keep from drawing his sword. His hand, and jaw, drop, though, as they meet the singing voice. "I...um...yeah, what she said."

DM Sinvel |

Suny and Bloody don't see much from outside. Someone who may be a beggar or just a street resident is slumped over on the street a few buildings down.
"Nuh-uh, ain't seen no one like that around here. Of course, this place have lots of men coming in and out." the large person says before flashing a smile over Mishael's shoulder staring straight at Silas.
"If you'd like to rent the room I can help ya, otherwise I perhaps need to be on my way." she/he says, with an obvious and not so suave wink to the only man in the hallway, Silas.

Karsielle |

Karsielle nudges Mishael's arm and quietly whispers into her ear, "Ask him to show us the room, I'm sure Silas can keep him amused as he shows Silas and us the room. Might this be the same room that Topaz used before their disappearance?" She stands tall again, haughty and elegant, totally at odds with their surroundings. She shuffles, moving her weight from foot to foot as Mishael converses with the drag queen.

DM Sinvel |

"Well, sure thing, handsome." He closes the door and returns a few moments later with a set of keys in hand. He locks his door and leads the trio upstairs to the stairs. "My name is Trixie!" the person exclaims to Silas and grabs his hands to shake it.
As the group climbs the stairs a rank odor assaults the senses of everyone. Loud noises of passionate intercourse is easily heard before everyone reaches the seconds floor. "Well, there is room 2a here, but it sounds like it is still being used. They ain't going to stay long though, they just paid for a few hours. How long are you planning on staying with us? We offer anything from a few hours all the way to a month in advance."
Trixie leads the group up the stairs onto the 3rd level, the top floor of the building. A door facing the stairs has a sliding lookout built into it, which slides open revealing an angry set of a man's eyes before slamming shut again. Trixie ignores the occurrence. "Just so ya know, I'm very discrete. I don't give any information about anyone staying here. My guests like it that way. That's why I didn't tell you about Topaz's room!" Trixie cheerfully says, unaware of his slip up.
He opens up a door with a faded 3B painted sloppily on it. Inside the room has only a bed with a bare mattress and a dresser. On top of the dresser is a half a bottle of cheap wine. The mattress bears numerous stains. Beneath the bed is brass chamber pot about a quarter full of a suspicious liquid.
I like that link Suny! Just so everyone knows, all of this stuff is actually in the module!

Mishael |

This is a blast, hope you have fun at the beach DM!
Mishael looks around the room, doing her best to hold back a sudden urge to retch. "Oh, Trixie, this room will be perfect. I'm sure we'd like at least a week. In fact, our friend Silas here might want to stay even longer after getting a chance to see it and enjoy your mah-velous hospitality."
She sweeps into the room and picks up the bottle of wine between two fingers letting it swing slowly back and forth between them. "Perhaps a drink for you two little romantics?"
"Now Trixie, before our friend Silas gets too hot and bothered, can you let us know if this is Topaz's room or if we need to get you to show us that too?"
