Chamius, I'm going to move this along for now. Don't worry, there will be time to work on missions.
About a week out from Magnimar, on the open waters of the Arcadian Ocean, the Throaty Mermaid finds unexpected trouble...
On the night of the seventh day Johendar is taking his turn in the crow's nest. Chamius, having no luck trying to chat with the elves, is sitting up there with him, plotting a heist. Both suddenly notice shapes slip over the railing of the ship below and start to move towards the forward cabin. As they near a lantern they are revealed to be blue-skinned elves. They have weapons in hand, and seem to be up to no good.

One of the elves turns and hurls a javelin up at Chamius, but the weapon flies off into the darkness. Another opens the door to the forward cabin, allowing 2 others to rush inside.
Chamius completes his spell and the elf that threw the javelin relaxes and stares up at him with a blank look on his face.

Also, can't adjust the map at the moment but Kryssa was below decks tattooing a sailor. She will arrive topside next round. Last, I placed Chamius in the crow's nest with Johendar since they were talking and Chamius stated he stays up late.
As those in the forward cabin prepare for a fight Johendar wounds the elf outside the door with a well-aimed arrow and Chamius begins a rousing song to inspire courage.
Inside, Barley scrambles to his feet and avoids a thrust from a trident. Hule is stabbed as he tries to get to his feet, but returns the favor with a solid punch to the elf's midsection.
The elves then stab out again, injuring both Barley and Hule. Assuming Hule is not wearing armor.

He calls for the first mate.
"Here!" Marzack replies from the hatch as he steps up onto the deck and approaches, a scowl furrowing his brow. "We got a problem Captain. I was checkin the ship and noticed the elf's cabin door was open. Someone's killed the envoy."
"WHAT!" Captain Veane pushes past his crew and hurries below uttering foul curses in Besmara's name.
Following along you soon come to the cabin where Sephriel and his bodyguard Thanzeril have been quartered for the journey.
Inside, the finely decorated cabin contains a brightly colored Qadiran rug, a small bookshelf, several storage trunks and barrels, and a modest bed. Lying face down on the ruffled, blood-soaked sheets rests the body of a tall, golden-haired elf in elegant bedclothes, his face covered in an intricately carved wooden mask.
Veane leaps toward the bed, checking the body for signs of life and knocking the mask away to reveal Sephriel's face staring off in a death gaze.

"Captain, it's your ship and all, but this is our business now. Whoever killed him will answer to us and our masters...and don't be thinking there's a hole deep enough to hide from them." He looks over at the rest of the party. "Did you leave any of those water elves alive to question?"
