Hi DM PeterZero.
I have a question, I havent played with Fredrik since last July I think. He is shadow lodge and I have been told this faction is retired from play. How do I go about to change his faction?
I was planning in joining the grand lodge.
Also whats SM stands for in the example above?

I was puzzled by that too, but I'm going to guess SM = Sense Motive, unless it's something like "Standard Move".
I'm going over purchases now. I recently applied some GM credits, so I have a little extra to spend!

Yeah, we've actually got the four bases covered pretty well. Oswin's pretty tanky - with a quick bless and bull's strength he's at +10 to hit with his longsword, though he won't do damage like a two-handed fighter or barbarian.
We should have plenty of healing with a pair of clerics, and with a gunslinger for ranged and a wizard, we should be well-prepared!
I wouldn't turn down an extra player or two though - some season 4 stuff can get nasty!

Varathon sat in the lobby of the pathfinder society lobby casually studying an obtuse eldritch tome titled "Illusionary practices of the Kellid shamans". He thought: "It had been some time, since he had needed to venture out as an active agent...." and then he sighed. He shuddered at the memorizes of those horrid ghouls in that terrible swamp. It had taken many weeks to get the terrible smells from this clothes and person, but at least the society had gotten it's mine contract back from the aging Taldorean town.
Under his breath with further sighings "I suppose I can't access the arcana and resources of the Lodge without some bothersome costs..."
At least the ridicously dangerous gnome summoner and his Snake mount eidolon wouldn't be coming along to do something rash and get this party into some unnecessary danger. Unfortanely, the crazed gnome had been the one constant in his adventuring career thus far. Thankfully, He had stayed back at Absalom. And of course he had mastered 2nd sphere magic since the last mission. He closed the book, and delicately finished his goblet of fine elvish red.
He tried to convince himself by speaking aloud "I am sure this will be a simple affair with no really danger....."

Hey guys - I'm ready and rip-rarin' to go here. How do I get added to the Players/Characters tab? Do you need my PFS number? I'm not entirely clear how using a pregen on PBP (or in RL) works as far as receiving credit goes.

![]() |

I think you'll be added automatically once you post in the gameplay thread.
As for credit, you'll get a chronicle as per normal, but put one of your own PFS character numbers in it. As soon as that character reaches the right level, you then add that chronicle to them, so it would be like getting 2 chronicles all at once.

Hey everyone, glad I get to play this character again. She can dish out some decent damage, so this should be a fun group.

I apologize in advance, but I'm a bit lost here. Should I just take my action and leave it up to you (our esteemed GM) to resolve, or should I wait until those who beat my initiative roll post their actions and then post my own?
I posted my intended action mostly because Osric did, though now I see that he could take his action because he beat the owlbears' initiative roll.

My Flaming sphere spell is very useful in this fight, what with the collapsing decrepit cottage and flammable fences. Almost as useful as my Color Sprays and blinding rays against Undead! LOL

Sorry to play fast and loose with the timing regarding the goggles. Lirianne would have brought them to Riddywhipple's attention immediately. If for whatever reason she gets to hold on to them, she'd have the magic folks detect and identify while around the campfire.
These don't happen to be goggles of zombie headshots, do they?

I create secret roleplay goals for my bard throughout PFS scenarios.
For example, played a scenario with a yeti this weekend. As soon as I heard about the possibility of fighting a yeti, I was determined to set one on fire. One flask of alchemist's fire later - nailed it!
Also managed to convince someone to cast grease on me and convinced another player to skin a snow leopard and wear its pelt for the rest of the scenario.
This time around I did not purposely make the dragon cry, but I sure enjoyed it.

I believe you can still get a swim check while holding your breath. Holding your breath forces you to only be able to take move actions, but I think you can make swim checks to try to fight back to the surface. Depends on the depth I guess, because your swim speed with one check as move action is only like 1/4 move so you may not be able to make it to the top of the water with one successful swim move but every failed one may take you all the way to the bottom.

Tomorrow I am going out of town on a short business trip. Should be back next monday the 9th. I am not sure how much internet access I will have these next few days. I will try to keep up with my posting but please bot Fredrik if needed.

Assuming both of Lirianne shots hit and dealt full damage and both Linnara's Glaive attacks dealt full damage, this thing has taken 62 hit points of damage and is still standing!!! Pretty mean monster LOL.

I have a question. According to the frightened condition description, "A frightened character moves away for the enemy as best it can"
So... why are the frightened characters running into the wall each round instead of heading for the exit as the best means of retreat? According to the frightened condition if a character can't run away, they are allowed to fight back. So if our characters can't get to the exit and can only claw at the wall each round, it would seem we would be allowed to fight back.
Also the frightened condition allows characters to use spells to get away. In that case Varathon casts invisibility on himself and runs as swift as possible to the exit and beyond for ten rounds.

The way I read the statblock (dire porcupine from Tome of Horrors) is that the 1d6 quill attack listed under melee is actually their tail attack, since the special ability says the quills only dislodge when they use their tail attack, which they don't have listed.
That said, I've never really thought about it, and if it works like that, with every quill doing damage, I really need to throw some of these up against my players :P

Thanks man! It was a great game! I'm not sure how accurate it s is, but for the creature you can check the d20pfsrd under "pukwudgie".
I haven't had a chance to play a 3-4 game before, so this was great. Definitely a step up in challenge from the standard 1-2.
If it's OK with you, I'm going to say that I used my Lesser Restoration spells on the trip back to heal up anyone's lost ability damage.

It was a really fun scenario, thanks for running it. And I can't believe the string of luck I had at the end with all my rolls—until that damn zombie hit me :)
Dayjob:
Profession (soldier): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

I made a small mistake myself with the standing up, but Oswin failed so miserably, he could have never moved, or would have been prone.
Linarra nearly killed it, so the last blow was enough. Liked to run it, challenging encounters. Didn't like the young template on the pukwudgie, that's over the top, increase stats by lowering CR.
Thank you all for playing, had fun, and Merry Christmas!
And just noticed, the boards ate the chronicle sheet as well.
Here we go: Chronicle sheet
