Round Seven
Thanks Ordud for keeping up with the rounds.
Seeing the Dark Elf begin to cast a spell, Sirasa directs the Air Elementals to attack the Drow Spellcaster. The third one flies around and slams into the back of Spellcaster. It gives the fourth one a flank against the Drow. But they are nothing more than a nuisance
Air Elemental 3 Slam vs. Drow Spellcaster: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 1 = 151d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Air Elemental 4 Slam vs. Drow Spellcaster w/ Flank: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 1 + 2 = 121d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Sirasa works to disrupts the Spellcaster as well and sends a volley of Magic Missiles toward the Drow.
Magic Missile vs Drow Spellcaster: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2, 3) + 3 = 12
The third Air Elemental returns to the Elemental Plane of Air.
One more round for the fourth one.

Harek takes a step so he is behind the stump and quaffs a potion of healing. Lothalian continues to call upon Sarenrae healing for the group. Ordrud swings at the wounded gargoyle but is not able to damage it further. Logan, still down, is being guarded by Logan. Sirasa elementals both attack the drow spellcaster but miss, and one disappears after their attacks. She then casts a magic missile at the spell caster wounding it and disrupting its spell.
The gargoyle attacks Ordrud, but only its gore hits the paladin. The bow wielding drow sends two arrows at the hated enemy, Harek, and both end up in the stump. The spell casting drow takes out his rapier but seems not used to having a weapon in his hand so he misses, and he yells in anger at the drow next to him, "Yoflid, do something!

Ordrud continues to swing and miss at the gargoyle, while Logan continues to protect Rask. Sirasa last elemental takes one more slam at the drow spell caster but misses as if fades away back to its home plane, so Sirasa sends another volley of magical missiles at him, continuing to wound and disrupt his spells.
Once again the gargoyle full attacks Ordrud, with his claw and bite getting thru his defenses. The longbow wielding drow follows Harek and shoots two arrows at him, but only hits with his second one. Sirasa |
Sirasa moves up another 15 feet, then shoots forth a ray of Heavenly Fire at the undead Dark Elf, bathing the creature in its light.
Sirasa's Heavenly Fire Range Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
DM Papa.DRB |
Rask;dwa: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 221d10 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Moments later, but Ordrud and Harek are free from the paralyzing effect of the ghouls claws.

Sirasa |
Sirasa gives a burst Heavenly Fire healing to Harek and Rask.
Sirasa's Heavenly Fire Harek: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 151d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Sirasa's Heavenly Fire Rask: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
In character, Sirasa would have done this as long as she was able. Harek heals 4 more points.
"Wasn't that fun," Sirasa says with a forced smile as she gives a little bit of additional healing to the fighters. "I am pleased to be in such capable and noble company." Sirasa gives Ordrud a wink.
Sirasa had previously given Ordrud a touch of Heavenly Fire . She can only give a healing touch once per day per person.
The Soceress stows her crossbow, pulls out her mace and walks around making sure all the enemies are dead. She will give any enemy still twitching a solid kersplat. She delivers one to the Drider just for good measure.
"We need to rest and recover I am almost tapped out. Maybe we should head back to town, regroup and resupply," Sirasa says somewhat matter-of-factly.
When the stuff is collected, Sirasa will cast Detect Magic finding the magic items noted, "Ooh a wand."
Harek Ironshirt |
"I agree, we need to find somewhere to camp and rest up. That was quite a fight, and I am glad everyone pulled through like they did."
Harek wipes the blood and gore from his beard and clothes, surprised more of it is seemingly not his.
Harek Ironshirt |
Once he is sure the danger has passed, and he has managed to make himself a bit more presentable, Harek looks over the gear acquired from the foes.
"This armor and shield look quite well made and would provide excellent protection. Would you mind if I used them? "

Wow! I can feel that the healing energy is almost drained from this wand.
OK, OOC I know we don't have to worry about Rask, but I'm thinking we would still heal him IC, but I wanted a consensus.
Sirasa |
Yeah. I agree. If we ever get to a town with a magic shop another one of those wands might prove handy.
Ordrud |
Thanks for the maintenance, Lothalian. Considering how tight resources, I would ask the GM for advice on Rask. IC, absolutely we would heal him. If he's just disappearing, maybe not...
Lothalian Sybellus |
Lothalian will start to grab for the belt, but seeing Sirasa grab it first, Lothalian will smile and bow. After you, but if you ever decide to get a better belt, remember your old pal Lothalian. He will then add in elvish, aa' lye kerlane pe i' dey en' l' here'e leur!
Lothalian will next pick up the composite longbow and pull it back and release it a couple of times with a loud TWANG. Anyone else want this? Maybe it might improve my aim, and since I am running low on arrows, can I take those too?
