ShadowKhan is playing ...
Character Name: Vielwar Nightshade
Class(es)/Level: Bard (Arcane Healer, Shadow Puppeteer) 1
PFS ID: 147934-8
Faction: Dark Archive
Perception Modifier: +5
Initiative Bonus: +4

Oh how does PFS handle non-armor not meant to give you bonuses for being well-dressed clothes? Like, my description I said she's wearing a simple red dress that accentuates her figure, however I say it's simple because I am not looking to get any equipment bonuses from the dress. So, how much if anything, would such a dress cost me?

nightdeath here.
All details in my stat block but here.
Character Name: Jadger Josser
Class/Level: Oracle 1
PFS ID: 76925-29
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Perception: +0
Initiative: -1
Also might want to be careful with that Kitsune feat
Realistic Likeness
It's pretty much up to GM on who you can impersonate.

I just thought of a question about the Kitsune's "Realistic Likeness" feat on what PFS rules are, or if it's an issue of "expect table variation" then what is your take?
Change Shape (Su) A kitsune can assume the appearance of a specific single human form of the same sex. The kitsune always takes this specific form when she uses this ability. A kitsune in human form cannot use her bite attack, but gains a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear human. Changing shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the kitsune does not adjust her ability scores.
Then Realistic Likeness changes this...
Benefit: You can precisely mimic the physical features of any individual you have encountered. When you use your racial change shape ability, you can attempt to take the form of an individual, granting you a +10 circumstance bonus on Disguise checks made to fool others with your impersonation.
Now, my question is that the feat doesn't say "any human you have encountered" it says "any individual" so can i use it for elves, halflings, dwarves, etc? Basically, it's now Alter Self minus the stat bonus or is it still humans only?

Well, yeah I mean that does make sense. I asked about the feat and was told by a Venture-Captain that yes, I can impersonate literally anyone I've actually met. However, I do agree that a GM can say "Uuuuh no you can't impersonate Baba Yaga even if the Chronicle Sheet says you played 'Tea time with Baba Yaga'"
My intent with the feat is to have variation in my form, not to abuse things by posing as important NPCs. Today I am a redhead. Tomorrow I might be a blonde. Next day, a brunette. The only time it really matters WHO I am impersonating is if the adventure would be assisted by me posing as someone, and the GM is okay with that tactic.

bluedove is playing...
Character Name: Selima
Classes/Level: Sorcerer 1
PFS ID: # 85152-5
Faction: The Exchange
Perception Modifier: [dice=Selima Perception]1d20+0 ; [dice=Thirsty Perception]1d20+6
Initiative Bonus: [dice=Selima Initiative]1d20+2 ; [dice=Thirsty Initiative]1d20+4
I'm afraid you caught me off guard starting a second table. Got them drawn up but haven't finished purchases yet. Wanted to make sure to check in so I didn't lose my seat!
Oh, and Luna: Here is the online reference document on Clothing. I'm not sure if the bonuses for the pricier stuff applies to PFS or not.

![]() |

Ok, I have spent all my gold! Last bit of business before I'm ready to go is training up Thirsty, Selima's Tiger animal companion.
Handle Animal to teach Flank(DC 20): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Edit: Also using 2 pp to purchase a wand of infernal healing!

OKay, thanks! Hmmm... so I do have enough to buy a courtier's outfit and the 'required' jewelry, if that's necessary.

![]() |

OH and yeah do we start with any PP, or since this is my first game (besides a level 4 pregen I am waiting until 4th to apply, so I can get full benefits) I have zip?

![]() |

Ermm No, as this is your first game you have no pp or any more gold beyond the starting 150gp.
And wow if you had tea time with baba yaga, and survived, I as a GM wouldn't mind you trying to impersonate her but expect a higher bluff or disguise DC if you meet someone who does know of her.
As for change shape and Realistic likeness, I can't really say. I haven't actually met players who abused it. More like 'I enter a redhead and left a blonde' kinda thing.

Okay, yeah didn't think I had any PP but thought I would double check.

Oh and how are chronicle sheets handled for online games? We get PDFs to print out to stick in our portfolio, or what?
Which reminds me I really need to get ink for my printer...

![]() |

Oh what do you need? HP, AC, Fort, REf, Will, Init, Perc? Anything else? There isn't room to put everything (I tried to put an entire character sheet on the profile, but it cut me off)
Sure there is! You just have to put it in your "About Luna Shiratori" field. See how Selima's is? I can generate you one like I have with PC Gen, if you like. I'd just need to know the same stuff the GM is looking for. The spells you chose, the skills you put ranks in, feats, traits, what gear you have purchased and brought along, etc.
Below is an example of what your sheet will look like. It only has basic info so far and still needs the following decision input:
1. Skill points remain to be spent.
2. Favored Class remain to be selected.
3. Feat remain to be selected.
4. Region of Origin remain to be selected.
5. Setting Specific Language remain to be selected.
6. Traits remain to be selected.
7. Spells remain to be selected.
8. Did you select any alternate racial traits? Your comment about "will-o-wisps" seemed to imply you can't cast dancing lights?
LUNA SHIRATORI

Possessions
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Agile (Ex) Kitsunes get a +2 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks.
Black Motes (Sp) You can summon a rain of tiny meteorites as a standard action to fall in a 5-foot column, 30 feet high. The meteors inflict 1d4+0 points of cold damage. A Reflex save (DC 14) negates this damage. You may use this ability 7/day.
Bloodline Arcana (Su) Whenever you cast an evocation spell, you may select one affected target that fails its save to suffer the choking airlessness of the void, silencing it (as silence, but affecting only the target) for 1 round.
Cantrips You learn a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells. These spells are cast like any other spells, but they do not consume any slots and may be used again.
Change Shape (Su) Kitsune can assume the appearance of a specific single human form of the same sex.
Eschew Materials
Kitsune Magic (Ex) Kitsune add +1 to the DC of any enchantment spells they cast.
Low-Light Vision Kitsune can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Low-Light Vision (Ex) You can see x2 as far as humans in low illumination. Characters with low-light vision have eyes that are so sensitive to light that they can see twice as far as normal in dim light. Low-Light Vision is color vision. A spellcaster with low-light vision can read a scroll as long as even the tiniest candle flame is next to her as a source of light. Characters with low-light vision can see outdoors on a moonlit night as well as they can during the day.
Natural Weapon (Ex) A kitsune has a bite attack in its natural form. This bite does a base of 1d4 points of damage on a hit. This is a primary attack, or a secondary attack if the kitsune wields a manufactured weapon.
Natural Weapons (Ex) Kitsune have a bite attack in their natural form.
Void-Touched (Wildblooded Starsoul) Bloodline The darkness between the stars calls to you.

Selima responded well.
You can check the profiles of your fellow players for various ideas on how to present your character sheet.
I'm fairly flexible, but things like feats/spells chosen/skills/languages/equipment are all important to have on there.
Essentially anything a GM might need to take a peek at when forming their post to see what players may have to keep things moving along (i.e. like I just checked everyone for rope and Climb checks to speed up that step of the adventure).

![]() |

Ah okay weird when I tried doing that for another (non-PFS) game it cut me off after a certain point.
Okay, so I cut and pasted what Selima gave me, but made modifications... Thank you so much for that!
Also, am I reading right that I get a +10 Racial bonus to disguise myself as a human and then ANOTHER +10 circumstance bonus from the Realistic Likeness feat? Or is the feat bonus only when trying to be like "I'm Selima guys... honest."?
Also, the Change Shape says "specific human" which would be a petite Tian girl from Minkai, but what about the Realistic Likeness feat? It just says I can impersonate an "individual" so can I impersonate elves, half-elves, catfolk, etc or still just humans? I'm okay with just humans, just want to be clear both for now and for future PFS games.

Could we have this marked inactive?
