I don't think either of you are asking for this, but I'd be happy to contribute to the cost of this AP. I have not stepped up to running a PbP (and I'm not likely to any time soon, as my time seems to be getting ever scarcer), and it seems very one-sided to just let others run games for me, and bear the cost of doing so.

I think Kingmaker would demand a very very special GM in order to be fun for me. In a way it's a lot more involved than other APs, in a way that I think would require more work from a DM, not less.
Carrion Crown doesn't particularly appeal to me personally, but I may be playing it in the next six months or so; if I do and my view changes, I'll let you know.

In a basically unrelated question, I am putting an order of PDFs together for a relatively new player as my Christmas gift for them. They have the core and that's it. If you were going to jumpstart a library for someone, what's your thoughts for the books to send their way. I have some ideas, of course, but I'd like to see what you think.
You go buy the pdf, like normal But, what you do is select the gift option. Select the person to send it to and pay for it.

I've started to believe my coworkers are a lot like the headless drow ghost/whatever it's called.
They've lost their head (brains) and they just make loud noises and they always attack (bother) me at the worst possible time and they have high SR (protection from logic/emails I've sent explaining the question you just asked me).
Sadly, I cannot cast Magic Missiles or fireballs....
