The Staglord dodges the elemental's strike easily as Bjelich casts his spell upon Kyras.
Up above, Danna and Striker reach the platform and the low rock wall.
Back down below, Kyras and Grigor press the attack upon the bandit chief but he turns them away with skillful parries and artful dodges...
Nobody wishes to talk? Where is your boasting now? Or can you not swing a sword and speak at the same time? he laughs. The Staglord seems content to goad you for the time being...
Mikmek emerges from around the wall to the north, bow in hand. He reaches for his quiver and is shocked to discover that the arrow he draws is broken and useless. Dropping it to the ground he draws another, but finds it too is broken. He grabs a handful and discovers all his arrows seem to be broken! He stands stunned by the revelation.
Bjelich gets a sick feeling watching Mikmek pull broken arrows from his quiver...
And just what do you presume we have been boasting about? Bjelich concentrates and whispers some words in Erastil's divine tongue. Reaching out his free hand, his fingers lightly touch Grigor's shoulder a burst of divine light moves from the cleric's hand, bathing the cavalier in a soft healing glow.

caster level (maximum +5). Since undead are powered by negative
energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of curing their
wounds. An undead creature can apply spell resistance, and can
attempt a Will save to take half damage.
Meanwhile, from behind the Staglord, dirt and rock fly at his form once again, Uuaarrhh! This time, it's massive arms appear to make contact with the deformed humanoid's leg.
Stepping back the cleric smiles, Is the little guy causing you trouble? Let me take him away and even up the fight. As the cleric finishes speaking the elemental swirls down into the earth leaving a small cloud of dust in its place.
And just what do you presume we have been boasting about?
Grigor races straight towards the Staglord, saying Now you have no minions to defend you from us!
Just before the elemental takes its swing at the Staglord, the remainder of the glue from the tanglefoot bag turns brittle and flakes off. Free of the hindering sticky substance, the bandit lord deftly dodges the strike that seemed sure to connect. The Staglord continues to laugh, Not at all! If you truly wish to even things up I would actually suggest summoning more of them!
Danna continues to scurry over the roof.
Grigor Round 25
Taking a to AJ12, and appearing undaunted by the Staglord's gyrations, Grigor continues the assault , shouting Mikmek, Nakpik, all of us, surround him and take him down.
Kyras ignores the posturing between the staglord and Grigor and continues to press the attack.
As Danna scrambles over the roof above, the Staglord continues to stymie Grigor and Kyras' attacks.
Unaware that Bjelich is almost out of divine healing, the Staglord risks moving to close the distance. The only reason these two are still vertical is because of you! he bellows as he lashes out at the cleric.
The Staglord leaves himself open as he attempts reposition and attack Bjelich...
...slashing the cleric across the back of his empty hand.
Kyras is able to land an opportunistic wound upon the Staglord.
Mikmek, recovering from his shock, drops his bow once again and draws his sword as he rushes to cut off the Staglord.
The Staglord reacts quickly enough to strike at Mikmek, but misses the crafty kobold as he dashes past.
Bjelich attempts to withdraw his hand as the Staglord's blade lashes out, but he is too late. Seizing his bloodied hand the cleric heads towards the safety of his companions.
Through clenched teeth he continues to rebuke the deformed villain, Too bad you failed to finish the job the first time. Try not to beat yourself up over it. As the stinging pain subsides Bjelich smiles mockingly at the Staglord. Then, reaching for his holy symbol of Erastil the cleric calls upon the divine. A ball of light surrounds Bjelich's hand which, with a careful touch, he passes on to Grigor.

Danna, shortspear in hand, runs for the edge of the roof and leaps onto the spot she has just seen vacated by Bjelich.
Her cat-like reflexes save her from injuring herself in the fall and she whirls to see the Staglord right in front of her! She strikes out with her shortspear in the hopes that her surprise appearance will aid her in landing a blow.
Unfortunately her descent unbalanced her and she missed him completely.
Striker, following her master, also leaps to the floor below.
Surprisingly, Striker's reflexes are not as cat-like as Danna's and she falls unconscious to the floor.
Round 26
Kyras attempts to pursue the Staglord trying to bring him down. Unfortunately he continues to prove that he outclasses Kyras's abilities a as warrior.Realizing that the fight is turning against them Kyra's motions to the others.
FALL BACK TO THE HORSES!! I WILL TRY AND DELAY HIM!
Grigor Round 26
Nonsense bellows Grigor, as he strides methodically to AL11 , we can all just surround him and wear him into the dirt. Make sure you move around him to make room and to flank. You too, Bjelich, when you aren't healing us. He continues hacking at the Staglord with his sword .
Danna's strike at the Staglord misses badly, while at the same time the jump proves too much for Striker. The cat collapses to the ground, too injured to continue.
Bjelich backpedals while trying to taunt the Staglord as Kyras calls for retreat, offering to sacrifice himself to delay the Staglord. Grigor ignores the call and moves forward to continue to press the attack to no avail. The Staglord proves to be a very elusive target, moving about the room with impunity. You should heed the half breed! Only your death awaits you here! the Staglord menaces as he throws his bow to the ground and takes his sword in both hands.
And don't worry holy man, I do intend to finish what I started! the Staglord calls out as he slips past Danna and the others to once again get at Bjelich...
...slashing him across the shoulder.
Mikmek, taking advantage of the bandit's focus clearly being on Bjelich, moves up behind the burly man and stabs at the back of his knee...
...driving the point home, causing the Staglord to curse.
Bjelich flinches as the grimacing figure's steel blade slices across his shoulder. The familiar sensation of blood flowing from his body tells the cleric his wounds are past serious now. Not wanting to stay toe to toe, Bjelich does what he can to put distance between himself and his attacker.
The cleric holds up his shield, That's the spirit!
Withdrawing from melee combat is a full-round action. When you withdraw, you can move up to double your speed. The square you start out in is not considered threatened by any opponent you can see, and therefore visible enemies do not get attacks of opportunity against you when you move from that square. Invisible enemies still get attacks of opportunity against you, and you can’t withdraw from combat if you’re blinded. You can’t take a 5-foot step during the same round in which you withdraw.
If, during the process of withdrawing, you move out of a threatened square (other than the one you started in), enemies get attacks of opportunity as normal. You may not withdraw using a form of movement for which you don’t have a listed speed. Note that despite the name of this action, you don’t actually have to leave combat entirely.
Restricted Withdraw: If you are limited to taking only a standard action each round you can withdraw as a standard action. In this case, you may move up to your speed.
Kyras shakes his head at the stubbornness of the others to flee. As he follows the Staglord continuing to try and poke him with his sharpened stick. Miraculously he seems to find a weakness in his defenses and is able to land a strike.
Grigor Round 27
Danna, move up between Mikmek and the wall and be ready to attack in coordination. Given that (in the initiative resolution before Grigor) Danna does move to AK14 and readies an attack on the Staglord, Grigor moves to AI12 and strikes with mutual flanking . If Danna doesn't do that, then I'll post a new set of activities for the round.

Understanding Grigor's shouts to coordinate the attack, Danna moves into position at the same time as Grigor and throws everything she has at the man in the funny hat who is standing on Striker.
Even distracted on all sides he still manages to avoid her powerfully thrust spear.

Even with coordinating her strike with Grigor, Danna's thrust is wide of the mark. Grigor and Kyras however finally figure out a way to get past the Staglord's formidable defenses. The cavalier in particular landing a good strike. In direct contrast, Bjelich continues to flee the Staglord's wrath.
Grigor's blow does indeed draw the bandit's attention and he spins, his blade hissing through the air in a deadly arc. Grigor, perhaps still admiring his hit upon the difficult opponent, does not see the strike until it is too late...
...and the blade slices into his neck.
As the cavalier gurgles and bleeds profusely from his gaping neck wound the Staglord turns to address Bjelich over his interposing comrades.
You talk but you do not do coward! I am sure your god is disappointed in you! Letting your friends face my steel while you cower!
He then deftly takes a few steps back and raises his sword high above his head before motioning the others to come get some as Grigor slumps to the ground.
Mikmek is the first to take up the challenge, darting forward and thrusting with his sword...
...but misses, perhaps slightly shaken by Grigor's grievous wounding.
Danna shrieks as Grigor is AGAIN struck down and moves in as Kyras does and tries to distract the staglord while Kyras attacks.
Bjelich takes up his holy symbol and invokes Erastil's aid . A burst of healing energy erupts from the wooden emblem covering all within range with a warm luminous light.
As he moves to join his friends Bjelich draws his morning star and digs at the Staglord, Where you see cowering I see tactical advantage. Smiling he adds, And look who's backing away now?
Striker hazily picks herself up off the ground and looks around for her master. She positions herself behind Danna and awaits guidance.

Grigor Round 28
Bracing his shield against an anticipated attack , Grigor calls for Gladius to come to him and stands up .
Grigor Round 28 Continued
Grigor shifts into position to AH12 , ready to look for flanks. Being up close now, he notices that the Staglord appears not to have his bow with him, and he says Has he dropped his bow? Someone grab it!
I believe that Gladius can now move into AJ11/AK12, which he does, it being closer to Grigor.
Danna tries to distract the Staglord to help Kyras but he misses even with the help.
Bjelich heals everyone and stirs Striker, Gladius and Grigor from unconsciousness.
Grigor then stands, within reach of the Staglord, who lashes out with his sword...
...but the blow lands harmlessly upon Grigor's upraised shield.
The Staglord, incensed that a number of his opponents are returned to the fight, lashes out at Grigor again...
...hitting him and once again sending him down. before stepping back again, trying to keep everyone in front of him.
Mikmek tries to dart past the Staglord again...
...and just makes it by, before stabbing at the other leg...
...but missing.

Kyras again moves to engage the staglord. Unfortunately he continues to elude Kyras rapier.
Bjelich and Kyras move for position simultaneously. Unfortunately, as their paths cross the cleric inadvertently bumps the magus' sword arm, thus causing him to miss his attack. Not pausing to make any apologies, Bjelich continues for the wall to make his stand. Keep him surrounded! Holding his shield close the cleric makes his first attempt at the Staglord...however his inexperience in combat shines through. This will no doubt bring a smile to the antlered man.
Danna, growing increasingly frustrated at the seeming invincibility of their foe, , tries to maintain her calm and moves in to attack.
While her strikes are powerful she misses her mark, yet again.
Striker, seeing an opening, rushes into the melee.

The bandit chief lashes out at Bjelich as the heroes swarm around him...
...but the cleric ducks the strike.
The remaining trio, joined by Striker, press the attack, but none are able to get past the Staglord's formidable defenses.
So you finally have the sack to join the fight eh priest? the Staglord jibes before resuming his assault upon the cleric...
...and cutting him down with a vicious overhand blow that crumples Bjelich. The Staglord then steps triumphantly over the body.
Mikmek's eyes go wide as the Staglord cuts down another ally, but he shifts with the intimidating man , looking to avenge his new friends...
...but once again misses another opportunity to punish the Staglord.
Kyras again moves to engage the staglord. Unfortunately he continues to elude Kyras rapier.
Danna, unable to close with the foe, throws her short spear and pulls out another. Striker throws her all into the attack clawing and biting at the enemy before her.

Danna narrowly misses the self-styled lord but Striker lands a lucky strike with one of her claws.

Kyras' attacks continue to miss, as does Danna's own strike. Striker moves in and rakes a claw across the Staglord's torso.
The bandit roars in anger and retaliates against the cat with two swings of his sword...
...cutting the cat down like all the rest, before once again shifting. You do seem to notice that he is attacking more recklessly than before.
Mikmek moves and waits for someone to flank before hacking once more at the man's legs...
