Sorry Thordak, you only get 1 attack if you stand up, as stanidng is a move action. And you can't 5' step while prone--you can MOVE 5' which will draw, and cost a move action, but you can't "5' step"

• Tirion casts magic missile with his rod of toppling. This will take effect at the beginning of your next turn.

ROUND 5
CURRENT AC=29
Wanting a better way to turn the tide, Bofus decides to get daring. He drops the Staff of Life, and pulls out his rapier as he dashes (to x29) to a more strategic position.
Acrobatics to avoid AoO from W28: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28 <--DC=CMD of creature
Acrobatics to move through W29's space: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35 <--DC=CMD+7
IF THE SECOND CHECK FAILS, bofus doesn't move, and draws AoO from W29. Since he and Thordak can't occupy the same space, I'd assume he ends up where he started
IF THE SECOND CHECK SUCCEEDS, Bofus will then stab W29 in the arse.

Grrr, I made a huge post earlier and must have failed to hit post after the preview.
After spending several seconds preparing his next spell, Tirion lifts his rod which ends in a man tripping. As he raises it, he forcefully speaks the last word of his spell and four darts of light pulse from his hand, twist through the rod and then shoot forth with one striking each of the bonedrinkers standing before Mantooth and Thordak and two striking the bonedrinker standing by the pool of yellow liquid.

Hey, I try to be creative. Although this character us much easier than Aarakess my witch who uses hexes all the time and I have to create new and creative ways of saying that I have cause such doom and gloom to visit upon the diminutive brains of my enemies that they are no longer concentrating on their attacks, and thus suffer a -2 to their attacks.

Round 5
• Bofus drops his staff and dashes to X29 for a more strategic approach. With nimbleness and skill he deftly dodges several attacks and comes out on the other side as clear as a whistle. This gives him just the right opportunity to stab the creature in the back! The bonedrinker doesn't understand what hit him and drops dead.
• The lantern archon fires off rays of light at W27 damaging with the undead with its pure divine power.
• Mantooth actually misses the creature with one of his strikes, but still delivers two solid blows that downs the next bonedrinker.
Round 6
• Thordak hacks at the next untouched fiend and in his haste overswings. However, he doesn't slow down and lands two more solid blows agains the undead fiends.
Thordak, please do not add Haste for damage. Also, what is +4 PA?
• Tirion sends off bolts of arcane energy smashing into the center bonedrinker (W28) causing the creature to trip and fall to the ground. He then proceeds to begin casting another magic missile.
• The Bonedrinkers are falling, but they do not waver in their charge. They continue to fight on.

I believe PA is power attack, at Thordak's level he should be -2 attack and +4 damage (+6 if he is using the axe with 2 hands.
Also, I do not know whether the Bonedrinker has some special attacks, but normally if he is standing up, this is a move action. As such, he only gets a standard action, not a FRA and should only have had one tentacle attack against Thordak.

ROUND 5 AOO VS W 28

1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
ROUND 6
The lantern archon 5' steps over to Bofus (since he's flying, I'd imagine he can occupy the same space as the fountain, therefore can take a 5' step?) and casts Aid on him.
temporary hp: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Bofus then stands at the ready, looking at both the wounded bonedrinker, and the unwounded one. Mantooth--get that guy back there, I'll get this one!!!
Actions:
READY action (standard) to stab the wounded bonedrinker as soon as Mantooth moves forward (he'll be flanking w/Bofus at that point and he can then sneak attack!!)
Here's the resolution of that attck, assuming Mantooth takes the chance.
sneak attack yo: 1d20 + 14 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 14 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 38 <--+1 haste, +1 aid, +2 flank
damage: 1d4 + 2 + 4d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (2, 6, 6, 1) = 18
Crit confirm yo!!!: 1d20 + 14 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 14 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 28 <--IF THAT CONFIRMS, Bofus will use Butterfly sting feat to let Thordak's next hit on this guy be a confirmed crit. Booyah!!
Tirion Jörðhár
Tirion once again releases four bolts of light from his hands which twist through the rod of the falling man before leaping forth and striking each bonedrinker twice in the knees.
Resolution of last round MM:
MM@Y27: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Trip: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25 vs CMD
MM@Y27: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Trip: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26 vs CMD
MM@W28: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

MM@W28: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Trip: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 vs CMD
Probably a waste of a spell, but hey, at least they are both on the ground again.
Seeing the majority of the bonedrinkers down, and the remaining ones having trouble standing up, Tirion waits to see whether his companions need any more assistance.

• Mantooth advances forward and attacks the bonedrinker (at Y27) and introduces him to Magnimarana.

After healing members of his party with a wand of Cure Light Wounds, Bofus inspects the chamber for anything of note. There are several things that strike you about this room. First is the pool made with the hundreds of lion skulls fused together with gray mortar. It contains a mustard colored liquid with something large floating inside of it.
The second item of note is the large fifteen foot high statue of a rotting lion. It looks like the spitting image of any of the ghostlions you fought earlier.

Remember, folks, Thordak accidentally took a dip in that water, and it wasn't pretty. Keep clear.
DMHW, can you be any more specific about what's floating inside the pool of nastiness?
Bofus looks at two alcoves. Secret doors! Why don't you guys just step back out of this room. If there's a trap, it's best if it's just me that's in harm's way, savvy?

Tirion looks at the yellow pool.
Let me see if I can figure out what this is.
Cast Detect Magic
Spellcraft (if necessary): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
If there is nothing dangerous detected:
Everyone, move back from the pool.
Tirion than waves his hands around in a rather chaotic manner:
Cast Mage Hand <-- and use it to try to lift whatever is in the pool of mustard
DM Harpwizard
Tirion casts mage hand and pulls forth from the pool a dripping creature that you believe to be a dire lion. After a moment you can see that it is still breathing and thus still alive, even after being submerged for some time. Although it has not woken up, you believe it may not take much time before it does.
Tirion Jörðhár
Tirion looks at the mustard pool with disdain.
As would be expected in a place such as this. This is filled with necromantic magic. Likely used to create the undead legions such as these goblinoid monstrosities and the ghostly lions without. Whatever this thing is, I believe we should put it out of its misery before it awakens as it will undoubtedly be evil and likely in part undead.
Tirion uses the Mage Hand to place the creature before Thordak.
If you would be so kind, I think that we should allow this perversion of nature to have a true death and not the eternity of undeath which was before it from the pool.
Tirion then walks to the dark pool nearer the entrance and again casts Detect Magic to determine whether it is also imbued with evil magics.

I also cast Detect Magic and scan the remainder of the room including the bonedrinkers to make sure that we do not miss anything.

Eeewwww. Yeah, Thordak, kill this thing, will ya? I'll do it if you won't...
Bofus looks at the different secret doors, and pauses. Alright guys, just remember. Don't tell the Ghostlord anything definitive about his missing treasure. Don't tell him with any certainty where it is, or where it isn't--except that we know where it is. If you don't outrigth lie, he won't be able to TELL you're lying, savvy? For my Grampy Bozak's sake, DON'T say it's in Brindol, because he'll kill us outright and just march on Brindol to try to take it!! I'd prefer it if you just trust the Con Man to do the talking--you guys OK with that??
DM Harpwizard
Tirion, what pool are you talking about? Are you referring to Q28? That is not a pool. Here is the description.
To the north is an oval chamber that is empty except for a single massive sphere of polished black stone that floats over a low dais. The stony sphere is about four feet in diameter, and whirling streaks of pale orange vapor orbit the stone in a frenzy of activity. Closer observation reveals that there are seven different orbiting shapes . . . . each of which almost resembles a distorted ghostly lion.

"There are a few words that I would like to say to this wretched creature, but I will do as you ask and let you do the speaking. You do play a very dangerous game, Bofus, but I will trust you. I just hope that we have not already provoked him by destroying his ghost lions and undead tentacle creeps!"
"Stay away from that. It appears to be a device which can such your soul out of your body to turn your living corpse into a slave."
"I will heed your advice, but I would like to think that I could resist such an attempt on my soul. I mean, I am a servant of Iomedae after all!"
Thordak son of Throtgar
Oi ain't gonna risk it. Thordak grumbles, squinting over at the sphere.
Oi'd say we should smash it, but Oi don't wanna get too close an' Oi'm pretty sure it'd piss the Ghostlord off to no end...

dangerous games are the most fun!! But I wouldn't worry too much about having offed his servants, he'll just make more. If we damage his property, that would probably vex him more, so I think we shoudl take Throdak's suggestion and leave that orb alone.
.
You're spot on, Tirion. Vile creature indeed. all the more reason to make sure he's neutral in the upcoming battle--so let's make, if not "nice", then not "we shall destory you," shall we, eveyrone? Let's try to find this chap and get the phluck out of here!! There isn't even any decent treasure...
I'll open the southernmost secret door and peek in.

That's a strange place for a dead end.
Perception to check for secrets at AC30: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21 <--that's using EoD
And if i find nothing, open X30
DM Harpwizard
The walls of this dark corridor are lined with the images of dire lions. As Bofus searches, his instinct is rewarded when he looks through the eye of the dragon to finds evidence of another secret portal at the end of the eastern hallway. He believes the secret portal opens by pushing the eye in an image of a lion on the wall at the end of the hallway.
DM Harpwizard
Upon pushing the Lion's eye, a stone door slides into the wall to reveal might once might have been a well organized treasury with an impressive display of rare pieces of ancient artwork and artifacts. However, at the moment, it is a chaotic mess of scattered coins, broken glass, shattered statues, torn paintings and sundered chests.
