Bofus pulls out the wand of Cure Light Wounds and begins sapping its magic as fast as he can. First on Tirion and then on Mantooth. Slowly, and with repeated attempts, both of their wounds magically heal and they are both feeling near perfect.

After Mantooth frees himself from the dead lizard's grip, he takes a moment to say a brief prayer after coming that close to death. "Thank you Iomedae for giving me the strength necessary to survive and serve you further."
Afterwards, he gratefully accepts Bofus' healing. "Thank you, Bofus. I shall try to be more careful next time. I seem to often forget that we no longer have the healing power of Sarenrae to accompany us."

Bofus begins moving counter clockwise around the rough hewn room and when you get to the eastern wall (AW&AX 23), you find a hidden rock that upon pressing it, unlatches a secret door!
As he proceeds around the room, he also find a simple bracelet around the creature's left foreleg. It is made up of seven black pearls.
Tirion casts detect magic upon the nest of crushed nettles and briars. Although he looks into the magical spectrum, he is unable to see any auras given off. The pearls do not radiate any magic either.

Unless someone objects, the pearls go in the group's satchel, inside the Haversack on me back
Bofus, confident in his trap-spotting ability, takes a first step into the hallway. Guys, be close behind me, OK?

Bofus Beerswizzler

BEFORE WE GO ANY FURTHER IN SIDE: please make sure you check out the "Group Pot" undivided loot in my profile. There are nice items in there, make sure if you want one, you say so and get the bonuses now!!
Bofus deliberately brings out a sunrod, and makes ready to light it--waiting to see if anyone objects.

Tirion Jörðhár

I will take the Cloak +2. I already have the Periapt of Health on my sheet, I have had it ever since we got it I believe.
Unless all three of you already have belts, someone should be wearing the Belt of Strength. If you all already have belts, I will wear it - no need to let +2 Strength go to waste.
Add my old Cloak +1 to the loot so that someone else can use it. If nobody wants it, we can sell it.

Once Bofus lights a sunrod, you are able to see that this long, ten-foot-wide hallway climbs in a complete circle, slowing gently upward from the secret door. Straight ahead, await two ghost lions standing guard. Their incorporeal bodies are each partially through the wall.

Bofus Beerswizzler

Uh, guys? Two more of those lions are in here. I think it might be worthwhile showing them...something. Anyone object?
Bofus' hand moves to the box he's carrying that contains a fake phylactery.

Bofus Beerswizzler

Bofus gives Tirion a smirk, then a wink.
He then slowly brings out the lead box with the fake phylactey inside and presents it in front of himself. He opens it, and takes out the fake phylactery and holds it up.
The Ghostlord is going to want to see this. We seek a discussion with His Ghostship, and we're very confident that he will be quite cross if something bad were to happen to us, considering... the halfling then jangles the fake a little.

Ah, more o' these little bastards! You still got that wand that kills 'em or are we doin' this tha old fashion'd way?
@Bofus: Thordak took a mw heavy crossbow, I'm not sure if it was the same one listed though. Also, I'd be interested in the mithril breastplate once it's enchanted. As it is now, my breastplate's better.

Since incorporeal creatures dont' have a discernable anatomy, Bofus realized that his rapier will be little more than a pinprick--at best--to these beasties. And we may want the healing power of the staff later on, best not squander it now. So, tactics change!!
The crafty halfling waves his rapier in the most distracting fashion possible, tickling the tendrils of smoke that make up the strange creature, not to harm, but to mess up it's aim.
