I am so sad at how many good rolls I am wasting for this stuff...once we get into combat I am going to be all out :*^(
Tike are you ok for the roll above for Magma's belt even though he wanted Str/Dex not Str/Con the DC doesn't change as I have all three of those spells.
Magma figure out if you had a belt already or if I was crafting from scratch, the DC doesn't change but the cost to you does. From 5k if you had nothing to 3k if you had a Str belt already.
As far as I know I am all caught up and I have made everyone at least one thing correct?
If I haven't let me know what you want, if I have then lets start on 2nd items.
30 Days spent crafting, plenty of time for more

I would like to see if I can get a Wand of Pro Evil from the church, should be 750 I believe correct?

"Excellent work, Sama'el!" Nowzai's eyes brighten as the circlet is finished, genuinely excited. "This will a be a tremendous boon to my spell casting."
"If you have the time, I think an enchanted backpack would be handy... perhaps even more if the others do not have an extra-dimensional stowage."
Handy haversack?
I'm still going through the lists for potential purchases. I'll have the rest of my buys and crafting this weekend.

Sama'el Val'varen |

Crafting
For the price the Haversack is hard to beat. And with how weak Nowzai is for Str the 5 lbs is nice
Cost is 1k for a Haversack and the DC is 19 or 24 if I fast craft. It's only a 1 or a 2 day item, not the end of the world if you don't want me to fast craft it. Again, my crafting is a +17 and if you want the bag then you move to the end of the line till I get through everyone else's 2nd request. So if there is something else that you would rather make sure you get, let me know and I will roll on which ever you decide
I am going to list out items I would recommend all of you look at.
Ioun Stones So many options, check them out and these almost all stack with other item
Feather Tokens Lots of things that can be done with these
Pearls Of Power Great Pally item

To pass the entrance exam yes, you'll also need to take your first semester of classes, which is another 200gp and the three rolls on the sheet.
Pathfinders: I am assuming they just have an office in town, I will just head there and inquire about membership
Sam asks around and there is actually no "office" in town, but several pathfinders have been seen in the area. There used to be one prominent one a few years back, but rumor has it he quit and went underground.
Town Guard:I will also approach the town guard to see if they have any jobs that need doing. Any bounties for any criminals in town, etc. Ultimately I would like to pump them for information on what's going on with the taxes, their thoughts and what I could do to help
Sergeant Krevis is the desk officer when you head in to the Town Guard. (Of note, Krevis was one of the guardsmen on duty when the rest of the party, not Sam, were released from jail at the beginning of the campaign. He was the nice one.)
"Look, we're not taking on bounty hunters or any additional investigators right now. We've got enough mercenaries flooding the ranks aiding with tax collection that petty crime is down significantly. We're still having trouble with counterfeit gold coins, but have no leads on that. Assuming it's the Last Laugh, who are an elusive bunch."
"As far as the tax rate, take it up with the Lord Mayor and the rest of Cauldron's nobility. Funny thing is, those nobles are paying more taxes than the rest of us, but no one seems to be aware of that. They're probably angrier than most. Although rumblings among the merchants lead us to believe they're up to something."
Mendevian Crusaders: "Thank you Epik for being willing to sponsor me, I look forward to meeting the person in charge and learning how I can assist in the removal of more devils and demons from this plane"
Sam gets the opportunity to meet Revis Stardawn, who stares at the tiefling a moment before nodding to Epik and bringing Sam into the chapel to chat. "I understand you have a ... distaste for your heritage and have been furiously pursuing demons and devils in the area. Sir Aegeous has asked me to take a few minutes of your time. Please, be brief and direct, but respectful of Iomedae's presence in her chapel."

"Thank you for the information Sergeant Krevis, I hadn't actually considered that the nobility is getting hit by the tax as well, I just assumed they were behind it and were therefore exempt, my mistake." Sam pauses for a moment, "I will look into the counterfeit coins, but truthfully my skills tend to move in other areas, but I may know a couple of people who may know something, whether they will talk, well that is something else entirely."
"If there is anything else I could do to be of assistance, please don't hesitate to ask, towns that follow the law are always a much better place to live and I believe it's a citizens duty to support the local law enforcement in upholding that law."
Mendevian Crusaders
"Thank you Sir Revis, I will of course respect your god, I have the highest respect for Iomedae and her followers. Yes it is true that I have rejected my heritage and I have made it my life's work to destroy any fiendish outsiders I come across to at least banish them from this plane for as long as I can. I am simply looking for a like-minded brotherhood that will allow me to continue my fight but that will see the big picture better then I do and allow me to belong to something...more."
Sam pauses, "In all my years hunting demons and devils, I have seen the good things I have done but it has always felt like a ripple in an ocean, and that no matter what I do, there are always more evil beings coming into our world to harm the innocent, I can not stop them all, but I will give my last breath attempting to." Sam stops and looks around the chapel, "I just feel that if I can be a part of something bigger, that I could perhaps do more and save more innocents."

I was able to journal some kuo-toan writings and details of the temple's architecture before it was destroyed. If you believe the Academy would find these useful, I will happily transcribe the notes for the archives."

The head loremaster thanks Nowzai for the books and adds them to a pile of paper and documents on the desk in his office and smiles graciously without saying a word.
However, when Nowzai begins regaling him of the kuo-toan temple, his eyes get wide and he pulls up a set of spectacles to peruse Nowzai's drawings and notes. Nodding vigorously to Nowzai's points, he asks a few clarifying questions and enthusiastically takes Nowzai up on his offer to document the summoning portal (Will take a couple days)

For my last item Sam, I'd like to increase the amount of wisdom this periapt gives. It seems different than these headbands you've made already however.
Hey Tike, anything goofy about the +2 wisdom periapt? Is it as straight forward to upgrade as any of our other +2 stat items?

I can't find anything in the rules for non-standard slots. Since it's not a slotless item, it looks like it should cost the same no matter what. The base costs are the same and the amulet slot is fairly powerful, it's not like it's a glove or something
Ability bonus (enhancement) = Bonus squared × 1,000 gp
At least as far as I can tell RAW.
That was why I wanted him to ask you, I wasn't sure what the DM rule would be on it.

Nemoris |

Crafting
Huh, must've been a holdover in my mind. Since slotless is double. Nonstandard will be +50%.
No worries then, even a 1% bump makes it too expensive to change based on the 16k limit. I'll buy a +4 outright next time around and pass this on to Jenya or someone else who can use it once I've had it replaced. Not having the amulet slot available is actually a downside for me.

Ah, alright then. I guess we'll take a new tack. How about magical boots that make me run faster and jump further? I've also got this cloak that protects me from spells and the like. If you have time, further protection that would be great!Boots of springing and striding would be great, and probably pretty quick to make, and then the cloak of res +1 to +2 would be perfect if we have the time.
I'm also going to kick out a few batches of cold steel arrows and silver, alchemical arrows if anyone is interested. The price on those two types aren't bad, so let me know if anyone else is interested.
For myself, I'll craft 50 Silver, Alchemical and 50 cold steel:
Crafting roll for 50 Silver, Alchemical: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33
Finishes in 39.53 hours, weekly check is 726sp (33 x 22 for double time) in value (12.964x2 silver an hour)
Total price 1025sp/3 = 34.166gp
Crafting roll for 50 cold steel arrows 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Should finish in 1.98 hours, weekly check is 704sp (roll of 32 x DC 12+10 for double time) in value (12.57x2 silver an hour)
Total price 50sp/3 = 1.666gp
To keep it nice and simple, total cost for Nemoris this break:
35gp 8sp 32cp in arrows
5000gp for +2 str/dex belt
(potentially) 2750gp for Boots of Striding and Springing
(potentially) 1500gp for Cloak of Resistance +2 upgrade

Naw, that's the +3 cloak, a +2 is only 4k from scratch or 2k to cost. It's alright, I may see if I can find one larger item instead of the boots and cloak. Thanks man!
Cold Steel is a material to bypass DR, think it's fae and that kind of creature.
Edit: I should note, if Tike is cool with the +3 cloak I wouldn't say no, but it requires a level 9 caster, so I think that's a no go.

The man looks at you, the hard angles of his sharp face impossible to read. "I hear you've been talking with the Town Guard and have taken the entrance exam at the Academy. Know this, Sam'ael, there are few people in this town we trust. Our own church is fraught with indecision since Sarcem's death. With the exception of Alex Tercival the are weak. Good and holy, yes. But weak. The only other person we trust in town is Kristoff, but unfortunately he is too benign in his teachings. The government of this town is wrought with corruption and those at the Academy are negligent in their pursuit of arcane knowledge. They would rather learn and duplicate the summonings and demonic evils than destroy them," he states, nearly shouting at the end as his eyes begin to glow with an inner white fire as his gaze goes distant.
He faces you directly, "Sam'ael, I am not a fool. I don't believe the Academy is malicious, but their disregard for the potency of demonic invasion is borderline criminal neglect. Has the Worldwound taught us nothing! But regardless, we need warriors. The demons are near endless and we need trained and blooded soldiers. If you are to join with us, you must forsake your entrance into the Academy or any direct association with the Town Guard. Next you must swear fealty to Iomedae and then get yourself blooded. Find and kill a true demon or demonkind and then we'll induct you into service. Until the, you are welcome to peruse our services as any other church."
He escorts you around, introducing you to the 3 on-site paladins, Crullio, Gath and Farak as well as the arcane Jespa, the church's resident demonologist and alternate priestess. He alludes to more members that are out combing the streets for "folk of low-character bringing ruin upon our good name" and in the surrounding areas "hunting for demon signs." Once he finishes the quick tour of the small sanctum, he says, "Any questions?"

The Assembly
As the weeks wear on, the topic on everyone's mouth is the tax situation. Whether it's trade goods or sales or luxury tax or guest tax or lodging tax or alcohol and tobacco tax, there seems to be tax upon tax, and many are feeling the pinch. It's the topic that everyone can gather around and even the nobility are feeling the pinch. Many feel that there's no reason. The only visible change is an increased number of tax collectors and mercenaries to augment the Town Guard. The streets in the lower quarters are still in disrepair, crime is still up, and jobs are down. No one sees a visible change from the increased funding of the Cauldron government and irritation is starting to turn to anger.
One morning, one of the regulars burst through the doors as you're having breakfast, "Oi, check this!"
In his hand he's waving a piece of paper announcing a general assembly.
Sent link via email to Google Drive ... holler if you didn't get it

Jenya Urikas *NPC* |

Concern for a friend
During the same breakfast, Jenya joins you, worry plainly visible on her face.
She sits down at your table with a sigh, ordering a mug of mulled wine and a plate of spiced potatoes, mumbling, [smaller]"Need to take the edge off .."
After gulping down half her drink, she speaks up "All, I'm worred about a childhood friend of mine, Alex Tercival. Nowzai, I belive you mentioned your family knew him. Last of his house, he'd taken up with Iomedae for a time and has often gone off into the jungle hunting for something to quench the fire in his heart. He connects with me on his returns, and this last one a couple weeks ago scared me. He mentioned having found something confirming his faith, but wouldn't go into details with the Archbishop nearby. I'm not sure why, but they don't get along."
Drinking the rest of her glass, she adopts a more pleading tone, "More importantly and more disconcerting, he mentioned having a cure for Cauldron's ills and he was going to start with the Town Guard. I'm not certain what he meant, and he blew out of the Temple as quickly as he came in. However, I haven't seen him in nearly two weeks and normally his outings don't last more than 2 or 3 days. I believe he intends to be at this assembly as he mentioned it as part of our discussion. Help me keep an eye out for him, will you?"

The Assembly
Dalamus studies the parchment for a moment. "This seems rather bold for someone to be holding within the city limits. I suggest that we go, but I would caution any of you about speaking your mind. Let's just observe and maybe we can see some that are in the audience for the nefarious purposes. Perhaps the people behind the corruption themselves. If they do show their ugly heads, then we can do something about the ills of the city."

Perhaps we should go in disguise, or have some type of deniability? I could certainly see a group like this getting rounded up or attacked by whoever is behind this whole scheme.
