Both goblins fall into a deep slumber, as the chanting stops, people in the square begin to calm themselves, and look at what exactly happened.
The sherrif walks up to the group.

"Well that was not according to plan, but I thank you for your help in dispacting the goblins. Here, its not much, but take this small reward."

He hands Ceinwynn a bag containing 50 gp

I am sorry I wasn't more helpful in defending against the goblins But some but i wasn't prepared for a fight. are goblin raids a common occurrence Here?"

Tekkis slings his mattock across his back and walks over as the sheriff hands the bag to Ceinwynn. He listens as the rider dismounts and introduces himself. "No apologies, some of us were in a better position to get them."

He nods to the rest of the group, "Tekkis Smalltooth... Tekk to my mates. Well met."

Ceinwynn fingers through the gold and then responds to the sheriff.

Though I am very thankful for the gold, it is is not needed. Any good citizen would have done same. She offers the gold back to the sheriff. If he doesn't take it, she pockets the gold and looks to the four men infront of her.

"Those two are merely asleep, Sheriff Hemlock." the pale elf says with a gesture toward the downed warchanter and his lackey.

With the ruckus seemingly over, Spectrum looks around listening for more sounds of panic or battle. Hearing nothing, he shakes his head at the frightened psudodragon between his legs, picks her up with a slightly exasperated smile, slips her up a wide sleeve and opens his book again.

Gene walking up to Tekkis nodding back to him, casts cure light wounds 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

After a bit calms down a bit, so he can speak in common again. Well that was interesting. So um these living Goblins shall we get them to tell us everything they know? And does anyone understand the language I was just speaking?

"Infernal." Spectrum says without looking up from his book. "The language of the creatures of the nine hells. A complex tongue full of tenses and tones denoting ranks and social standings, characterized by speaking from various positions of power or obsequiousness. You spoke quite well, though I believe a linguistic scholar would argue that it is improper grammar to use the words 'care' or 'gift' without the tones denoting sarcasm or disdain."

Gene nods. "Yea, I never seem to be able to get that correct. At any rate we should probably get these Goblins tied up and then figure out whats going on... O Sheriff Hemlock are goblin attack's normal around these parts?" As Gene talks he moves over to one of the dead goblins to search the body's for anything useful.

"I'm going to walk around to see if there are still goblins about, I'll meet up with you later for that drink." he says as he turns away.

Tekk moves quickly around the square, then further into the town, trying to find out where goblins were, what they were after, etc. His thought is to try to make sure goblins didn't sneak into town somewhere else to cause problems.

Not sure what checks I would need to make, but I'll include some d20 rolls just in case.

Spectrum nears the group of Goblins, but waits, speaking in the goblin's own clicking tongue.

Ready action to Color Spray the goblins. Spectrum is taunting them in hopes that they will rush him and bunch up. Goblins hate dogs and books.

A pulse of mind-searing multi-faceted light erupts from Spectrum's hands just before the first little monster reaches him.

Tekk raises his mattock to begin smashing goblin faces into last week... only to skid to a stop as they all fall over unconscious. He looks around, then nudges one with the toe of his boot.

Placing the head of his weapon on the ground, he looks over at Spectrum, "Um...nice work. How many more times can you do that?"

Glimmer emerges from her hiding place and, seeing no danger, glides down to a twitching goblin. She stares at it, sniffs it, sneezes and makes a disgusted face, then climbs up it to sit triumphantly upon it's chest.

Then she stings it in the face with the barb at the end of her tail.

Can't remember the Color Spray rules and don't have time to look them up right now. This might wake it up. It also needs to make a dc 12 Fort save vs. Sleep poison.

Gene looking down at the Goblins slowly shifts his head twords the man and then slowly lifts his head up. Genes eyes and smile give off a very creepy feel before he shifts back to what a person would naturally expect.

Well kind sir, I'm glad you asked. Your Sheriff mentioned there haven't been attacks as of late. So why attack again know? If there is a reason I be willing to think things would calm down if the reason was removed. If not killing the goblins and leaving them to be found by their piers could prove to be a good way to stop any more attacks permanently. Both ways the town wins. And after getting info from them, I don't care what happens to them. Revenge is a dish best served cold correct?"

Auto pulls on the reigns hard as he gallops twords the goblins when he sees them collapse. "Good work" he dismounts prods a goblin with a stick. the walks twords the group once again.

"The practice of gristly warning trophies is a barbaric but undeniably effective method of dealing with intruders. Heads on spikes tends to be the norm. Of course, for creatures such as goblins, such measures may simply anger them and cause the frequency off attacks to actually increase. It may be better to use these ones to root out the rest. If we let one escape it would run to it's lair. We have a number of means of tracking it there."
