Existing characters are a Varisian Cavalier (me) and an Ulfen Ranger.
Probably an appropriate juncture to do a cross-post to all my more active PbPs about an interruption to my posting schedule that is imminent.
My wife is about 37 weeks pregnant, which basically means that the bun is fully cooked and ready to pop at any time. This means that at some point in the next 1 day to 4 weeks I will suddenly and without notice disappear completely from the interwebs. I can't say when or for how long, but it will probably knock me out for up to a week or so before my wife and I get back on our feet and I'm of somewhat sound and untired enough mind to jump back online.
So if I do vanish, please don't fret as I shall return :) I would just ask for some leeway on posting frequency for a while as we adjust to the new baby floating around.

It's our second time around so at least we know what we're in for this time around. Wife has been having some pretty intense (though irregular) braxton-hicks contractions today, so figured it was about time I put the word out to let people know just in case the little bloke decides to pop 'early'
We've got two also, but 16 and 12 now...may have mentioned it before, but they're quite into Pathfinder these days. No PbP yet...the older one dropped from my game...the younger one is starting to show interest. He follows the exploits quite closely.

While we all prepare to die at the hands of the necromancer, I want to mention that the newest Open Design project has just been announced:
Midgard Tales
The work coming out of Open Design has been top-notch and one of the best parts of participating in the whole project is you get a chance to influence the design. At higher tiers of pledging, you also get a chance to get your own experience with game design. I've been a participant in the projects since Tales of the Old Margreve and just started getting my own design experience with Journeys to the West where I will have two monsters, one magic item, one NPC, and island, and an adventure in the final compilation.
Midgard Tales is pure adventures. Thirteen of them, set in Midgard, but undoubtedly many will be easily transferred to Golarion or the homebrew of your choice. The Kickstarter won't close until May 21, but some of the levels have limited backers, so if you're interested in writing an adventure, don't wait. I highly recommend it.
Heads up that Mark/Vhailor's wife's water just broke a few hours ago. So good luck to them on the new baby and don't expect him for a little while!
That's good to hear. I'm sure he'll make a fantastic dad.
And further good news that it's been a successful delivery. He is expecting it to be a few days before he is back. Vhailor may be a questionable father, but Mark I'm sure is great :)

Wife and Bub continue to do well and all things considered should hopefully be back in our own home as of tomorrow. Will see how the home-life settles out before committing to a specific time for wading back online though.

Vhailor is back in action... at least OOC that is, given he has a large sword shaped indentation where his spine used to be in game ;) Surprisingly he was the second PC I had cut down by friendly fire while I was on my baby-moon!

Lol, no wonder Vhailor doesn't believe Salvin. There's no mind control spell in the book. Was that some of bluff he used on the paladin?
The spell was Murderous Command. It's a cleric spell - the necromancer had one cleric level, worshipping Zom Kuthon. I thought it added a little flavour. The rat skull on the chain was his focus.
Ah! That makes sense. I just got a chuckle out of Vhalior's suspicions.

The wife and I will be heading out of town for a family bbq in Sioux Falls, posting will be spotty until Sunday, GMPC as necessary.
All leveled up to Level 3. Picked up bless to give some group buffing. New Oracle ability lets him create a cold iron weapon. Feat is Power Attack. Let me know if you see any problems.
Vhailor will bag acid arrow and glitterdust as his spell freebies.
Average HP, bump to skills across the board.
Feat and Languages TBC.

I just realized that I get one more hp since I am using the average method and we round down at even levels and up at odd levels.
I think that we were given the option to roll or take the average :-)
@EngineHouse: I am interested in the cantrip that they were using in Delve, and which they said we could get access to 'later'; given that this is the last time I get a cantrip/orison, could you post details for it? :-)

LOL, yeah, they do. I've just got home from work, so I'll have to work on this later Sunday. I'll just be added one rank to all my skills, so it shouldn't take long. I just need to check the books for feats and such.

Enginehouse - firearms still take an EWProficiency right? - Vhailor might run with that this level.
Salvin is up to date now and immune to fear effects, so he shouldn't have to worry about that shaken condition again.
I'll finish my level up tonight, I'll be taking another level of Ranger.
Gregory and Vhailor: You won't be able to learn the ignition cantrip upon level up, but you will be able to keep that slot 'free' so that you can learn the spell if you can find someone to teach it to you.
Vhailor: firearms do still require exotic weapon proficiency.

Engine - Would I be able to leave the language slots open to learn new languages when they come up? I've got the machine language from the big hunk of metal in mind. I know that I'd need to 'learn' them still from a native speaker, but I would think it might be more useful than selecting a couple of languages like Aklo, etc that I'm unlikely to use.
Vhailor - sure thing. It won't be easy, but you can have a crack at learning the machine language.
The next story segment requires a bit of prep, so I'll be a few days before my next post. You've reached the end of the 'railroad' so from here I was to start giving you control of the story. This requires mapping and suchlike.

Huron's Flamesingers would be fun to tangle with, as would a reinvestigation of the metal ruins where we almost got vaporised... plus there's always Delve.
I like all of those ideas, but don't forget the frickin' drow too! Maybe that's just part of fun with Delve.
Well, at present, I am looking forward to liquidating our loot and making some purchases; it would be nice to at least have a MW weapon ;-)
I would like to help with the war, driving the Twists away, but I agree, dealing with those two-faced Halflings, collecting our reward, and investigating the 'spaceship parts' are also compelling :-D

Yeah, some new gear is in order for Damrang as well. His primary goal will be Iadenveigh, although I'm picturing a Fallout I style ending for Damrang on that front.
