I feel really bad about posting basically just a roll, so I'll chime in on some of these loose ends.
We didn't open the locked box in the livery, as far as I remember; nor did we determine what the haunting was. I'm pretty sure we found all there was to find, though we did leave the box behind (right?)
I think the Fushi sisters are going to need a bit of time. Perhaps we should talk more to Laria and/or Rexus in the meantime, and ask Laria about Nan.
Sorry if this all seems noncommittal. It's getting late, and I've had a lot of other things on my mind.

Yep:
-Documents are in the Livery. Those are quite important. No one was able to open the box so you left it there.
-The haunting source (if that's what it was), what NOT discovered. As you left you heard the strange melody playing again...
-The Fushi Sisters were recruited. Rexus has clearly taken a shine to you, Laria might still harbor some doubts. It will probably be important to convince her how you explain Nan's unfortunate demise.

If we're looking desperately for someone to wear the boots, I can. I'd rather not take the whip, though. I'm planning on a level of Swashbuckler (inspired blade) at 3rd so I can flanking buddy with Veccio better. It'll give me a lot more firepower and survivability, but the whip just won't be practical. The boots would be good for getting into position though. At least, once they've had a good prestigitating.
Maybe we should sell it, since we don't have anyone who'd really use it well.

Veccio Mezinas |

I'm good to sell the whip. As for the boots, I'd really like them, but since I have the magic armour, it doesn't seem fair. Unless someone else wants the armour, then V can put his chain shirt back on, have a higher AC, keep a respectable Acrobatics (+7 instead of +9, due to the shirt's ACP), and be able to boost it when it counts?
Just throwing options around. Happy with whatever.

You have 2 options for selling stuff: you go to Laria and ask her to find a way to "market" it. In a few days you'll get half the listed price of the item in gps. Of course you can sell stuff this way onlt after you have correctly determined its value as you need to tell Laria how much you expect earning by selling a certain item.
OR
You can ask Laria for some known merchants/black marketeers (of find them yourselves via Knowledge(local) or Diplomacy) and then bargain with them yourselves using the BARGAIN RULES.
Your choice. One way is safer, the other gives a potentially greater payback but you also risk losing money.

I think loot should be sold only if it's not useful to the group. In that case, I'm happy with Veccio having the armour and the boots.

First up, I'd like to apologize for my silence. I've been working up to moving house, and the big day was today. We don't have an internet connection yet, and probably won't for several days (though we're working on it). I have a smartphone with a data plan, but 500MB doesn't go far when I'm using it for job-searching as well. However, my mother lives 5 minutes away and I'm welcome there any time, and there's a library within walking distance, so I'll be around.
Please don't write me out of the campaign, as this is temporary. I'll be here, but sporadic. If I'm holding things up, bot me. If there's something Veccio would reasonably do that would help the party out of combat, have him do it if I don't get to it first. DM, if you don't want the responsibility of botting him, I nominate Mel to do so (sorry, Mel!).
If you need it, Veccio's MO is to basically follow Mel blindly, try to protect her, and generally be an awkward, gangly, lovestruck fool. In combat, he'll charge the biggest, baddest thing and generally show off. Remember that if he rolls a natural 11 or higher for initiative, he can move up to 30 feet as an immediate action, which he'll always do.

@ Veccio: Don't worry, I myself had a couple of hectic days. I'll try to progress things further tomorrow but right now you just need to recover those documents then we'll proceed with rebellion building 101.
Btw tell me if and how you want to sell something. If you need someone to appaise stuff for you Laria can probably be convinced to find a reliable fence.

Sorry for the low posting rate but the site seems really erratic to me. I lost 3 posts today and I really hate when this happens...
Is anyone else having the same problem?

![]() |

Exactly. Think a little on this... If I must say so, it all makes sense if you consider all the factors involved...
;P
P.S.
Tomorrow will be a very busy day for me, I'll possibly be able near this time but not sooner.

We decided it would be too suspicious to carry it around town with us,so we left it behind.

What's the matter folks? You just need to decide what to do. You are following your former camrade who stole the documents you need to advance with your newborn rebellion. You lost his trail and need a way to find our where he and his cronies hide. How do you think to do that? I assure you it's possible...
P.S. I won't be able to post for most of tomorrow due to a trip I have to take for my job. I'll be posting late if at all

Veccio Mezinas |

Hey guys, I just got the internet connected. Might take me a while to get into the swing of things again, but I'm back!
Izzy, HUGE congrats to you and your SO! :D

Meliandri Chastain-Aulamaxa |

Sorry! My power was out today, so I couldn't get a post in. I'll try to get one up tomorrow morning before work.

Meliandri Chastain-Aulamaxa |

Okay, so my internet is rather messed up at home, which is making posting difficult. I anticipate it'll be fixed soon, but for now, just giving an update.

Meliandri Chastain-Aulamaxa |

Hi, everyone.
This coming week is Spring Break at my school, and it seems like a good time to take a break from pretty much every responsibility I have, so here goes.
I've been feeling very burnt out as far as my games go, so I'm going to take roughly 10 days off, give or take a couple. I've noticed it's had an impact on most of the games I'm in, and I don't want to be a downer or the reason a game isn't successful.
Please expect me back between the 10th and 12th of April. Until then, I *may* read the threads, but will almost certainly not be posting.
Thanks, everyone!
Aest

Veccio Mezinas |

Enjoy the break, Mel. Recharge those batteries!

Meliandri Chastain-Aulamaxa |

So, 'ow eez everyone doing? Zee game 'as been enjoyable, and I am 'oping zat we weel be able to be continuing soon!

Meliandri Chastain-Aulamaxa |

Update: I got a PM from him. He's going through a rough phase, but he says he'll be back. I'm willing to wait it out for the time being, since I've enjoyed this game.

Veccio Mezinas |

I've been enjoying it, as well. I'll wait.

Hi guys,
I’ve decided to retire from PbP gaming and will move away from the boards over the next few days. I started PbP in 2008. Over those years, I’ve met and played with amazing GMs and players. I’m grateful for all the things I’ve learned playing with them.
I’m sorry for the disruptions my sudden leaving causes.
Happy gaming,
DW
(This message is posted in all my current games.)

![]() |

So, first of all I need to apologize for the long wait. The game stopped and it was my fault. As Mel told you things happened and suddenly I had very little time for PbP.
Now I'm willing to try again if you are amenable, the game will move on. And probably recruiting someone else since Abi decided to quit.

Meliandri Chastain-Aulamaxa |

Sure, I'm still interesting in making this thing happen.
How do we want to recruit? Should we go back to the thread and see if anyone's interested, or perhaps see if anyone has a recommended player?

![]() |

Good thing we are still here, thank you all.
As for recruitment we'll resolve this scene and then I'll ask around I guess.

Veccio Mezinas |

I'm still here! Just been preparing for a trip. >.>
