Nargun's visceral reaction is surprising, but it is also in a bit of slow motion. The quick moving Vasily reacts first, drawing his rapier, and stabbing at the angry dwarf before he can unlimber his axe. The rapier goes in deep, actually coming out the others side of the angry dwarf. Vasily smirks expecting a kill-shot, but his eyes turn wide with worry, when the dwarf starts chanting and foaming at the mouth.
Nargun takes 19 dmg! Atticus reacts next. Map is linked at top margin.

It appears Atticus is tardy, so I shall run him and keep the story going.
Trouble at Trail's End - Round 1 - continued
After the Sczarni leader stabs Nargun, Atticus reacts by drinking his Shield extract, creating a nimbus of glowing warding energy around himself. He readies his bardiche, and prepares to defend the backside of the group.
Following their bosses' lead, several of the Varisian toughs join in. Green slides down to close on the flank, but Atticus attack makes him pay. He does slide close enough to stab at Devan with his short sword but the attack misses. Can you parry and riposte while flat-footed? I wouldn't think so
Yellow also advances, and Atticus cannot keep track of the foes. Even so, the toughs aren't used to real fight, and the man's advantage evaporates when his attack misses from behind.
Circling around the outside of the wounded dwarf, Blue Thug takes a swing at him with his sap, bopping Nargun across the jaw painfully.
Moving quickly, Mirela has her bow out and is firing once things start to go south. Her first shot hits Green Thug, spinning the man around, and disabling him.
Hurt, raging, and blinded by fury, Nargun swings his axe to murder the ringleader of the assault, the one with the smart mouth. His axe blow barely catches the nimble opponent, but it does open a big wound in his flank to match Nargun's.
Attacking while Twilight is unprepared, Red Thug whacks her with his billy club, busting her lip and causing blood to trickle into her mouth.
Orange Thug also piles into the fight against Nargun, his short sword flicking in and out, finally getting at the raging dwarf with what is really just a flesh wound.
Devan steps over and attacks the Orange Thug himself, but the pointy end of his rapier glances off the leather vest of the Varisian tough, just missing.
Blinking back pain and surprise, Twilight has the presence of mind to step back from her attacker and say the magic words, causing her to disappear from sight. Red Thug shouts something in Varisian, wiping his hand across his eyes.
End of Round 1
Whew! That's a lot! Twilight is hit for 7 dmg. Nargun takes 23 plus 6 Non-Lethal, but raging adds to his HP total. Green Thug is badly hurt, and the leader, Vasily, is wounded. Let's see what's next.

Holding a hand on the wound in his side, Vasily stabs at Nargun once again, then dances back just out of his reach, allowing his men to hold the dwarf in place. The attack whips another wound on the dwarf, who barely feels any of it.
The Professor steps inside the flanking maneuver and whirls his bardiche quickly slashing at Yellow Thug, who takes a painful wound.
Hurt badly, Green Thug gives up the fight, and limps off slowly to the north of the road.
Side-stepping a bit, Yellow grins through the pain, waving his dagger at Atticus in taunt then quickly lunging at him and burying the knife in the professors upper arm.
Blue Thug completes the flanking move on the raging Nargun, cracking his head once again from behind and making the angry dwarf see stars for a moment.

Trouble at Trail's End - Round 2 - continued
Seeing the hits that Nargun is taking, Mirela tries to even the odds. She fires a pair of arrows in rapid succession just over the shoulder of Devan. Both strike the Blue Thug, who goes from fully engaged to disabled and looking quite the worse for wear, in a matter of seconds.
At the same time, she points at Yellow Thug and orders Whisper into the fray. Without hesitation the wolf pup leaps on the Sczarni brute, biting his harm, and dragging him to the ground.
Just pending an action from Nargun. Will DM-PC him if no post by tomorrow.

I was just waiting for the result of Mirela shooting
Anyone, after such a bloody beating, would have tried to flee, if he wasn't already gasping for his last breath on the ground.
Not only Nargun was still standing, he was smiling his eerie smile, whispering the name of his dead nemesis, which was even more frightening and disturbing for foes and friends alike.
The dwarf's bloodlust was focused on the rapier wielding man, and his axe once again rises and strikes.

Trouble at Trail's End - Round 2 -continued
As bodies hit the floor, and blood flows, Nargun is in prime battle rage. He steps after the instigator of the melee and slams him with his axe once more, spewing blood all over the green grass of Trail's End.
Surprised by Twilght's sudden disappearance, Red Thug stands shocked for a split second then leaps to attack an easily visible member of the outsiders. The shielded Professor avoids the attack that might otherwise have rung his bell badly.
Orange Thug delights in getting to stab Nargun from behind, as he wanders into flanking position in his mindless rage.
Devan and Twilight to finish the round.

Devan grimaced as the hits continued to pile up on the raging dwarf, though Nargun gamely fought through it in his blind anger, giving as well as he got. As one of the thugs next to him sprouted a couple of arrows and looked noticeably more pale, Devan took the opportunity to attempt to weave around the other side, putting the brute on that side in his own flanking predicament.
Acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Once there, the bard attempted to jab at the club-wielding man with his rapier, hoping to draw heat off Nargun. It turned out, maybe the relatively relaxed last few days had really taken a toll on Devan's reflexes...he made a mental note to visit Orisini after all this excitement died down.

Twilght reels a bit from the club blow she just took. Although she could not see it due to the spell, she could taste and feel the blood. The wound wasn't particularly serious, but it was painful.
"Run you fools! Can't you see the dwarf has gone insane? He's been run through and still fights on, he feels no pain and won't stop until you are all felled. Flee while you have your limbs intact and we will see what we can do to calm him!" She called out while maneuvering next to the Red thug that had struck her.
She leaned in close and whispered "But not you. Striking any lady without provocation is bad enough, but striking me cannot go unpunished." Twilight blew gently on the thug's neck just to let him know she was there as she drew her whip and spoke a short prayer. "Callistria, see that my vengeance strikes true. It is by my own hand that I seek justice for the wrong committed against me"

Trouble at Trail's End - Round 2 - concluded
Devan scrambles out of reach of one of the disabled thugs and tries to slip behind another, stabbing him from behind. As quick as the fencer is, the Varisian is quicker yet and avoids the flanking attack.
Still invisible, Twilight chides the thug for striking her, promising retaliation. To that end, she invokes her deity for revenge, drawing out her whip and preparing to flay the unaware street fighter.

Hurt quite badly, the Varisian leader looks about for a way out of the fight that he picked originally. Shouting in Varisian, he motions to his boys and withdraws out of the range of the dwarf's baleful rage.
Atticus has an action if he wants it, or he can just delay as the gangsters start to disengage.
Atticus Fulvios
Atticus delays for a while to see if the thugs do the right thing.
"Seems someone found a silver of reason in their tiny purse of coppers!"
Devan Covarie
Devan smirked instead of breathing out a sigh of relief as he heard the thug leader call for a retreat from the raging dwarf after the fencer received a nasty second wound from Nargun. The fiery gang leader deserved what came to him, as did his crew, but the bard was willing to disengage and allow an exit without retaliation if the brutes started to think better of it.
Not going to post anything after this, as there's a vengeful Calistrian and a raging dwarf that still have a say in matters. :)

Trouble in Trail's End - Round 3 - continued
Understanding the situation is resolving, Atticus holds his attacks, delaying to see if the fight breaks off without any more carnage.
Prone on the ground in front of the bardice-wielding Professor, Yellow Thug is in an unenviable position. But he gamely tries to stand after being savaged by Whisper, provoking from both Professor and the wolf.
Hurt badly, Blue Thug melts away, withdrawing carefully but then high-tailing it out of sight.
Whisper, who probably doesn't get a choice, and Atticus, who does have the option for an AoO vs Yellow. Mirela, who can try to call off the wolf on her turn, and Nargun, who is still raging, can act now also.
Nargun Firehelm
Nargun, still visibly angry, puts his axe's large blade on the man's chest
Stay down. Or the wolf won't be the major problem. I am.
Panting, bleeding, the dwarf lets the sharpness of the blade be felt through the clothes
I won't kill you now. Tell your buddies and your so called boss that the Tayce girl and her children are off limits. In fact, tell them that any women and children are off limits, and are to be left unharmed, safe. Or else I'll come back, hunt you, and kill the whole lot of you. Bloodily. Painfully. Slowly.

Only doing as commanded, Whisper leaps back on the wounded man who is trying to stand. Her teeth maul his arm and collapses back to the ground, unconscious and bleeding out.
Atticus, for his part, holds off, letting the thugs run away but calling after them derisively.
Mirela calls Whisper off, and she faithfully comes to heel beside her mistress. The Erastilian priestess stands ready to shoot the first of the Varisians who makes an aggressive move, pivoting around slowly to keep them all in her field of vision.
With their leader hurt and fleeing, and the power of the group on full display, the other two brigands choose discretion over valor and withdraw away as fast as they can. Soon the street of Trail's End is empty again.

Devan Covarie
Devan looked at the terrible wounds on Nargun's person worriedly as the dwarf issued a final warning to the thugs before they scampered off, exchanging a glance with Mirela before walking up to the dwarf. "Aye, it might be that those boys will think thrice before engaging in their protection racket once again. Good show!" He clapped the barbarian on the shoulder, leaving out how if the leader was the vindictive sort he might strike at Tayce out of petty spite, now. Hopefully the beatdown would have the leader more scared than angry.
The musician looked about for Grau to lead them the remainder of the way to the woman's house, so that the learned members of the party could take a look at the sick child and try to help where they could. Devan went to clean the end of his rapier, only to scowl as he recalled he hadn't actually hit anything with it. He sheathed it with a snapping motion of his wrist, rolling his eyes as he prepared to continue.
Twilight.
Twilight isn't quite done with the thug which had struck her. She had already entreated Calistria to assist her retribution and she wasn't about to let that prayer go to waste.
acid splash with true strike vs flat footed (vanished): 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (10) + 22 = 32
As she blinked into view, the little glob of acid splashed on her assailant, leaving nasty burns that would be painful for a day or two.
Satisfied with the petty act, Twilight saw to the group.
She was about to chide Nargun on the unnecessary violence but held her tongue when Devan congratulated him.
"If we are done playing with the local wildlife, there is a little girl who sorely needs our assistance."
Nargun Firehelm
I dont care that much for their protection racket. But threatening women and children...That was theses thugs mistake. If I have to fight, may I fight for those who cannot defend themselves, as I've already said. Besides, my axe won't be helpful against a little girl's disease, so I have to use it to make whatever small difference I can.
DM DoctorEvil
Twilight sends a vengeful stream of acid at the departing brigands, giving one a nasty burn but little other effect. With that petty act over, Grau leads the short rest of the way to Tayce's house.
The Soldado home is a squat, two-story wooden building in desperate need of repair. Over, the building feels like the home of a family too busy living to bother with tedious chores. The guardsman knocks and enters, and you see the inside of the cottage is remarkably clean and well-kept. It is filled with worn furniture and decorated with crafts and scribblings of children. Two dark-haired boys, with the olive skin and features so common among Varisians, play in the front room of the house, barely noticing your entrance.
The smell of cinnamon and anise fills the air, seemingly coming from the kitchen which is around the corner out of sight. A fit of ragged coughing fills the house from above followed by the muffled voice of a worried mother.
From the kitchen door enters a dark-skinned Vudran man in white priest's robes. A silver holy symbol of a scale is worn around his neck, while dozens of keys of various shapes and sizes adorn his white robe clanking a little as he walks. "Hello! I am Ishani Dhatri, one of the bankers of Abadar. I must tend the kettle here in the kitchen so please excuse me." The man is roughly 30 years old, and in addition to his religious attire, he carries a light crossbow and a silver dagger.
Grau's brow creases at the sight of the Abadarian. "Excuse me," he says shortly, heading up the narrow stairs to the second floor. "I must have words with my sister by marriage. Make yourself at home." He is obviously displeased at seeing the priest at work in the kitchen.
Mirela Wintrish
As Grau disappears, Mirela steps into the Kitchen and leans against the doorway. Her worn cloak thrown over her shoulder, but her wooden longbow shaped clasp clearly visible where it is holding the cloak together.
Good Day, Banker Dhatri. I am Sister Mirela Wintrish. 'Ave you 'ad a chance to look at the child? Do you know what she 'as?
Devan Covarie
Devan smiled at the sight of the Varisian boys playing in the front room, his eyes drifting upwards at the sounds of the coughing. Thinking that Grau was likely going to talk to his sister-by-marriage before inviting them upstairs, the bard joined Mirela in entering the kitchen to look upon what the priest of Abadar was doing. It was kind of odd that one with divine talents would be resorting to an herbal concoction, but maybe that bespoke that the situation was less dire than it appeared. He wandered further into the room to allow any others into the kitchen area while he glanced at the Banker with curiosity, awaiting his answers.
Twilight.
Just before they entered the house, Twilight quickly bathed the group in a healing light. Her wound wasn't serious, but she wasn't about to meet new people with a bloody lip.
Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Reasonably satisfied with the result she entered with everyone else.
Twilight gave a brief look over the room. "Quaint" was the word that sprang to her mind. She smiled politely at the boys.
She was a little surprised to see a priest of Abadar here though.
Twilight joined Mirela in the kitchen. "Hello, you may call me Twilight. I'm surprised to see a follower of the Wealthy Father here. You look just as out of place as I do as this family does not seem to have much in the way of money."
DM DoctorEvil
You can hear the sound of muffled voices from upstairs. Those who strain to hear, can make out some of the words:
Ishani is pleased to meet all of you, but when the subject of the girl's illness comes up he sighs. "I have never seen the cluster of symptoms she has, so I cannot diagonse her easily. Having been through scarlet leprosy and other outbreaks back in Vudra, I am a bit of an expert on infectious disease, but this presentation is not something I have experience with."
When Twilight mentions money, the Abadarian looks abashed. "Yes, well. That is the problem, isn't it. Money, I mean. The tenets of my faith require me to request a donation for Abadar's power, which I suspect this simple family can ill afford. Even if they scraped together the means, my duties at the Golden One's Vault have required me to entreat for similar miracles today and my divine bond is spent already."
It is not long after that when the creaks of the steps lead you believe someone is coming down. Eventually, the mother of the house, Tayce Soldado appears. She is nearly 40 and possess a simple beauty, scarcely hidden by her disheveled appearance. It looks like she hasn;'t slept for several days and worry lines crease her handsome face. Despite her concerns, Tayce welcomes you warmly to her home. "Thank you for coming!" she says. "Grau has told me so much about you. He swears that you have some means to help my poor Brienne. I am just at my wit's end, and Ishani here has been so nice, but so far, nothing seems to work. She is just slipping away from us, a little more each day." Tears stream down her cheeks, as she says this last, but she stands there bravely. "What can you do to aid her?"
Here is an image of Ishani Dhatri, the kindhearted banker of Abadar. Also, a drawing of Tayce Soldado, for your enjoyment.
Twilight.
Twilight's eyes go wide in feigned shock for a moment before she hides a laugh behind her hand. "Why Mr. Dhatri, money is the problem?" Her voice fell to a conspiratorial whisper "Don't worry, your little blasphemy is safe with us." and gave him a wink before straightening up and getting serious.
"All joking aside, thank you for finding a way to bend the rules a bit and show a little compassion to those in need."
Twilight couldn't help but be moved by Tayce's plea. As the mother implored the group to help Twilight responded "Mrs.Soldado, we will do all we can to help. Erastil be willing, and with a little luck from the Lady, your family will not suffer any further hardship."
She stands aside and motions to Mirela "Just let me know how I can help." Twilight then follows Mirela's lead.
Devan Covarie
So it seemed the cleric of Abadar was trying to skirt his faith by helping out with his extensive knowledge of diseases and herbal cures. A sweet notion, but from the man's expression and words not nearly enough. Devan inquired further, "What about the sickness is puzzling you, Ishani? Perhaps the Professor here can recall some tome on disease, but your insight could prove very useful."
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
As Twilight deferred to the more skilled healers of the group, and Nargun inquired with the banker how much direct action from Abadar would cost the party, Devan smiled at the exhausted Tayce. "Ma'am, I can't imagine I can help more than the ladies or the Professor here, but maybe if we understood more about how she might have gotten it? Has she been anywhere that her brothers haven't? Consorted or played with anyone? Maybe the last few places you remember her being before she started getting sick?" The musician thought that an insect or rat bite would have already been mentioned, so didn't mention that thought.
Mirela Wintrish
Mirela listens to the others talk.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Ahh of course, Mom did the same when I was sick.
Then she returns her focus back to Ishain.
Well, I 'aven't gone through as many outbreaks as you, but I did 'ave to deal with a number of different sicknesses in my training. Including some in animals that can make people sick too. Maybe I do be knowing something you 'aven't seen yet.
Plus, Lord Erastil 'as blessed with an ability that may 'elp both of us 'ere. 'E gave me the ability to be knowing diseases even if I don't be seeing them before. Maybe between the two of us, we can figure more out.
Mirela carefully sets down her weapons and backpack against the wall and grabs out her healing kit. She glances at Whisper then says:
Devan, Can you keep Whisper away from me for a while? The pup might scare Brienne.
Assuming someone keeps Whisper she follows the sound of coughing to see Brienne.
When she steps into the room Mirela immediately focuses on the girl.
It's obvious she has done this before as her voice softens and she crouches down a little so she can look the girl in the eye.
'Ello Brienne. I'm Mirella, your Uncle Grau asked me to see if I can 'elp you get better. You are clearly a very special girl to 'ave many people who care about you so very much. She smiles a small smile as she says this.
I know you 'ave gone over this before, but can you be telling me what's wrong?
Mirela listens intently to the girl as she describes what's wrong then asks.
As well as listening she looks to see what she can see of the symptoms.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
If it's all right, I'm going to ask Erastil if 'e will 'elp me to understand what is going on with with you. Is that OK?
Assuming I gets permission, Mirela casts Diagnose Disease on Brienne. As she does so the room is filled with the smell of Chamomile flowers.

Twilight.
Twilight stood a few steps back from Brienne. Although she wanted to help, she was very uncomfortable being so close to someone suffering from an unknown disease {or any disease, unknown or otherwise to be truthful}.
She waited for Mirela to finish casting her spell before taking Mirela's lead and saying a small prayer herself.
Also casting diagnose disease
Standing strategically behind Mirela so that she was between Twilight and the little girl, Twilight said in a low tone "Let me know when you are about to proceed with your treatment, and I will see if Calistria is willing to provide assistance in her recovery."
DM DoctorEvil
Ishani is clearly embarrassed by the requirement of his faith to sell their healing services, especially in front of the other clerics.
When asked about the cost by Nargun, he shrugs clearly uncomfortable. "My High Banker insists that I ask for 150 gold sovereigns for the spell that might make the little girl better. Of course, the spell may not work, if Abadar chooses not to favor her, in which case I must still keep the money...A scroll from the Bank would cost the same amount."
Tayce shakes her head, holding back tears. "You know how children are. There are a thousand places she could've gotten too where the boys didn't go, but I don't think she was bitten. She never complained of it at least. She has been in and out of consciousness so much, I haven't had time to really inquire. I don't know how she might have gotten sick."
Eventually, Mirela, Twilight, and the Professor make their way up the creaky steps to the bedroom loft above the main room of the Soldado home. There a young girl lies in one of the beds, her slight frame dwarfed by the bed's size and the pile of pillows, afghans, and quilts surrounding her. Splotches of angry red rash cover her face and arms, appearing in irregular shapes and sizes, like a bloody veil. Suddenly, he restlessness is interrupted by a violent fit of hacking coughs that jerk her entire frame, lifting her well off her pillows. The spasm passes after a moment, dropping her back to the bed, but seemingly having down little to ease her labored breathing.
The girl is only semi-conscious and doesn't clearly respond to Mirela's questions or non-magical ministrations.
Even before she casts the divination, Mirela can see the child is suffering from disease. Her divine assessment confirms her suspicions, indicating the girl is indeed diseased. The name "blood veil" pops into Mirela's head as the name of the disease, but she has never heard of that before. She sees the effects of the disease, the obstructive cough, the rash which develops into blisters, the swelling of lymph glands which turn into painful buboes. Ultimately, the disease leads to blisters the size of grapes on the skin, massive internal bleeding and the expectoration of blood which causes a bloody wheezing death in about 7 days on average. Knowing this, Mirela can perhaps help the girl recover if she tends her.
Twilight follows invoking Calistria's grace, and learns the same thing basically.
Atticus's more scientific examination of the patient reveals nothing he as seen before, and even with his vast knowledge, he cannot heal the child.
Per the description of diagnose disease, the two clerics both get a +4 bonus on Heal checks to cure the child's disease. If you pass the Heal check, you can grant Brienne a +4 bonus on her next save vs the infection.

Nargun suspected the price would be higher, somehow, and supposes the priest was lowering the price, adjusting it for the poor family.
150 Gold sovereign? If my friends can't heal the little one, we have a deal, and you have my gratitude.
With a big and unusual smile-as if the dwarf had forgotten how to really smile-Nargun offers his calloused hand to shake
And if they manage the heal the girl, your kindness won't be forgotten either.

Mirela gathers with Twilight the Professor and Ishani.
She do 'ave a disease named Bloody Veil. 'Av any of your 'eard of it? It do be new to me.
She pauses for the others to respond then (assuming the others are not familial with it) continues in a low voice.
Old Deadeye, do 'ave gifted me the knowing of course of the disease, but not the cure. Seems that rash it will develop into blisters. Those grow to the size of a grape. The bad thing do be that those are inside too, and they can pop causing bleeding inside. That bleeding is dangerous and often do be what is causing the person to die in about a week.
Given the bleeding is the main danger 'ere, we need to 'elp 'er cough, but we can't risk something like willow bark tea as that may make her bleeding worse. Any other suggestions?
When the group is brainstorming solutions, Mirela throws out this additional suggestion.
I do be 'aving a small blessing that can make 'er feel better for a time, It might help give Brienne a bit of time to rest, but she would be back coughing before lunch again.
Considering casting Remove Sickness on Brienne, I think it would give her relief for 40 or so minutes. Thoughts?
Once she gets all the input from the others, Mirela goes back and tries to put their solutions into practice.

Nice!

Twilight gave Mirela a weak smile. She hadn't been comfortable being near a sick person to begin with, but knowing all the gory details about the affliction wasn't making matters any better.
"Perhaps if you can help alleviate some of the damage the affliction has already caused it would help her respond to your treatment better? A simple restoration spell or two?"
Despite her misgivings, Twilight does what she can to assist Mirela in her treatment heal assist: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Devan put a hand on Whisper's pelt, stroking the wolf pup as Mirela, Twilight, and the Professor joined the others upstairs. The musician's dark eyes remained on the priest of Abadar, though, and he pounced when they were alone with Nargun again. "Ishani, surely Abadar himself can see the plight of this girl and the modest means of her family. Is mercy unknown to the Bank? Surely the vaults are overfilled with coins from those able to pay for such services..."
The bard smiled at the man, his tone friendly even as it prodded at the shame gland the priest seemed to possess. He turned his attention to Whisper after that, rubbing behind her ears affectionately as Devan and the dwarf waited to hear something from upstairs.

No one in the room has ever heard of Blood Veil before. Nor have they seen the constellation of symptoms as described by the priestesses.
Taking her careful time, Mirela works with items in her healing kit, like cold compresses for fever, and an unguent from the pock marks, and does what she can to aid little Brienne. After about 10 minutes and with some limited help from Twilight, Mirela has done all she can do.
She packs back up her healing kit, shrugging. It is in Erastil's hands now.
Your attempt to treat the disease is successful. By rule, this grants the patient a +4 bonus on her next save vs the infection, which won't be until tomorrow. You can stay at the house in Trail's end, go back to Korvosa until morning, or try some other attempt at a cure.
Ishani is impressed with the work done by Mirela and Twilight and grins his agreement. "You are a very skilled healer," he says. "And I am glad you don't have the same proscription on free care as my faith. I have a more powerful divine spell that would likely cure the girl, and your dwarf friend has agreed to pay for its delivery tomorrow. Shall we meet back here then and see if your ministrations are successful or if I will provide a more sure-fire means of cure for a price?" The relief in his face, when Nargun agrees to pay, is palpable. He seems to be all smiles at this point.

Quickly writing down the name Blood Veil, Atticus looks at the others.
"A new disease? That is very uncommon. Have there been any more cases? How is it treated. And what happens to the patients?"
Mirela Wintrish
Mirela shakes her head at the compliment.
I 'ad a good teacher. But you give me too much credit. I've 'ave 'ad my fair share of cures that did not take.
She glances back in the direction of Brienne.
What worries me is 'ow she got sick. It do appear to be a pretty serious disease. Without knowing how it spreads, the family do be needing to watch to make sure nobody else gets sick.
She looks back at Ishani
So yes, I think we should meet tomorrow to check on the whole family. We should also talk to Tayce and Grau to make sure they are looking for anyone else that do be getting sick.
As she hears Atticus ask his questions she responds.
Professor, It may not be a new disease, just one not common to Varisia. We 'ave the name, and symptoms, do you 'ave any resources we can go to look up and see if there is a known cure for this?
Nargun Firehelm
Could the disease by kwown by another name, elsewhere? Coming from another country, maybe? Do you know how you can catch the disease? I'm no expert on this... I have rarely been sick myself, being a dwarf.
Devan Covarie
Devan looks at the others with concern as they speak about the illness and the relative lack of information on it. His eyes settled on Tayce as he spoke, "If Brienne is feeling better tomorrow, might we have a word with her? Maybe she can tell us something that might have been missed."
With the situation well in hand, and Ishani's divine assistance provided for should it be needed, the musician relaxed a bit. Perhaps it was just a strange coincidence and the girl had picked up a couple diseases at once, or something similar to that. "Do we want to stay here to keep an eye on things, or go back to the Juggler?" Devan's preference was for the Inn, for multiple reasons, but he'd agree to stay if that was the consensus.
Atticus Fulvios
"Well the disease has a name. So it must have an origin. I was thinking maybe from the south. Maybe Mwangi? Brought in by sailors. Or maybe not."
Twilight.
"If there is nothing more we can do here, I would prefer to sleep at the juggler." said Twilight. She didn't wan't to stay in the house for longer than necessary. Especially after seeing the results of the disease. What she needed right now was a long hot bath.
Mirela Wintrish
Mirela makes sure to tell Tayce what they have identified the disease and done what they can for now. She explains that they need to learn more about the disease, as it's one not common to the area, and that she needs to be alert for anyone else around that shows symptoms, as they have no idea of the mode of transmission.
Finally she tells of their plan to let her rest the night and will all return to check on her in the morning. If Brienne is not better they will take further steps, but that they believe the girls natural healing will start to cure her overnight.
As she finishes she picks up her pack and weapons.
So unless you do be needing us to stay, we will be getting out of your 'air and go see if we can learn more about what she 'as.
She looks at the others in the group to see if everyone else ready.
I'm ready to move on if the others are.
