The "King" clears his throat and speaks again this time a little slower and it makes sense!

"Your highness, we do hope to be heroes worthy of you ...what did you need a hero for?"

The Tiny King Claps his hands and tells you that his beloved pet Clickylegs wandered off and king Zuuga wants this pet (the exact species
of which he can't seem to remember) returned to him not because of any affection he had for the thing, but because he keeps his "spare crown" in a pouch tied to one of its legs. He promises a reward of a diamond the size of his head if they return his sleeping crown to him.

"Your...uh...greatness. Why can't your own people find this pet, if I may ask?"

Seeing the uncertainty on his friend's faces, Mark steps forward, summoning up the slang-filled singsong speech he remembered the other kids talking like when he was young. Here goes nothing...

"Cor, lil'un king, we gon' find yer pet 'n bring 'im back sharpish. Which way yon clickylegs wander off?"

Mark nods in affirmation at the king's directions, and beckons over his shoulder at his friends as they head further down. He holds his battleaxe in front of him to clear the cobwebs as he walks.

"Clickylegs? Clickylegs!" he calls out to the pet.

Awesome Mark!! Sorry Dave, Just trying to keep up with the family and the holliday season. I got out of the daily habit checking this thread.
Just as Oolanna was finishing a prayer for wisdom and knowledge of simplistic languages she was amazed at the ability of Mark to pull out such communication skills.

"Nice one Mark, Clickylegs?" says Oolanna to Mark quietly.

"The King's name fer it, not mine. My pets get great names," he says proudly, patting Maggie on the head.

Yorn follows Mark. "Do we even know what Clickylegs looks like? And...uhhh...why are we helping this little king, by the way? Not that I mind, I guess, but we need to figure out how to help Kierra, right?"

Well Yorn, helping this king might give us allies in our quest for knowledge. Remember, Kierra's malady is tied to this place and this.. Nalun says holding up the Shard of Pride.

"Oh yeah. Good point. Let's go."
