Raising Str. score to 15; I think I'll be upgrading my Str. score at least until I hit 16, maybe even to 18; my Int. score is already sufficient to get me to the top level of Magus spells. We'll see how things develop.

            As I understand it, I can currently scribe and use the following spells from Leandru's spellbook:
1st-level spells:
Enlarge person
Feather fall
Jump
True strike
Unseen servant
2nd-level spells:
Alter self
Bull's strength
Cat's grace
Darkness
Fire breath
Invisibility
Levitate
Spider climb
If you guys feel any of these spells are truly essential, truly must-have, then please let me know. I'll try to purchase and learn the essential stuff.

            Bull's strength and cat's grace; Peredur will get both of them eventually, but not for a while, and they can be gamechangers. Invisibility is also good, enlarge person can make someone like Iesha a better standup combatant, and true strike is good for those times when you really, really need to hit.

            Okay, if we take that list, then let's start with Spellcraft checks to see whether I can learn them from Leandru:
1st-level spells:
Enlarge person - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
True strike - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
2nd-level spells:
Bull's strength - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Cat's grace - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
Invisibility - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
The cost of scribing these spells into my book if all Spellcraft checks go as required would be 140 gp.
Purchase cost would be 70 gp minus 20%, equals 56 gp.
Total costs: 196 gp!
