I'm going to have minor posting issues this week. My daughter, who is cyber-schooled, is in 11th grade. Here in Pa that means she has to take a battery of state assessment tests. Since she's cyber-schooled, the have to be at an off-campus site. In this case the convention center in downtown Pittsburgh between 2 - 5 PM. It's a 1 hr bus trip. I have to be there, too, as her 'learning coach' and legal guardian.
They do have wi-fi. $50/day. So, I'll be posting either early morning or late evening.

OK, everyone, just an update on our family's vacation plans. We will be going to Florida in May. We'll be leaving Sunday May 6th and returning Saturday May 12th. I'll have my Kindle Fire with me and we'll probably bring my daughter's laptop as well, so posting is possible, but likely to be sporadic and mostly in the evening (EST). Sunday/Monday will be travel days as will Friday/Saturday so Sunday (the 6th) and Friday (the 11th) are least likely to see posts. Saturday (the 12th) may also be bad due to exhaustion. I'm not abandoning the game, so just be patient. I'll update all pertinent info as the dates get closer.

I took a look at her character and it looks like she does have Knowledge: arcana. I like what I saw and I'd be OK with her.

I interpreted NA to mean not applicable on the skills list, since the other skills marked that way were the ones that can't be used untrained. I might've misread, though.
Sigh. Looks like Peredur is right and I misread her skill list.
I may take the skill when I level up.
There are certain moments that just make me giggle with the insanity-inducing power of a GM. usually when a character reacts to a situation in such a wonderful and slightly unexpected way, yet completley believable way.
So bravo, Iesha, for that one.

Hello, and thank you all for allowing me to join your game. I'm much obliged to you! I'm in the process of updating Talia to 2nd level, and have taken DM Corvus' advice to heart regarding both archetype and Knowledge: Arcana. :)
Would it behoove the party to change her Patron to Elements or something, as she's not a "pure" (read= damaging) arcane caster? Otherwise I'll stick with Ancestors.
Also, a question on formatting the profile: Anything in particular you're looking for? I looked at the various party members', and there were similarities, but differences as well. Just curious if you had anything in particular in mind. :)
Talia's updated profile will be done today, as well as background info, etc.

Heh, yeah; I wrote "Ancestors" above, when I meant "Spirits", which I'll keep, as I liked the theme. And I'd planned on dropping Archetype altogether, actually. :)

I've written up a background (apologies for my loquaciousness; I enjoy writing). DM Corvus - If you'd like anything altered, added-to, removed, etc., please let me know. I can write specific Patron information, or allow you to develop something I can discover, whichever you'd prefer. At the moment, Talia doesn't know much about it.
I also put into the background (last paragraph) the reason as to why Talia would be late for the Professor's funeral... :)
