"Sunny" |

Reijo says, "The world really don't need ta see his second beard, if ye knows what I mean..."
Sunny , busy trying to help the person of her current attnetion pipes up.
"I thought it wus beards all'a time, all'a tha' places...?" She asks conversationally, the nights events not seeming to be phasing the tanned, plucky, Elf lass.
XD

Thurden 'Salt' Leadbeard |

Thurden shoves the woman's corpse out of his doorway as he steps into the hallway. 'Sleep in your clothes. You'll never be caught with your pants down.'
He takes a swing at the remaining enemy's back.

Reijo Ilvonen |

"Twas just jokin', Saucy." Mild disdain grows on his face as he ponders his follow-up sentence to Sunny, "I ain't really given much thought ta all the places ye finds beards on dwarves..."
"Anywho..." Suddenly changing the subject, he answers Thurden next. "I would... if this one 'ere would let me bloody sleep, heh heh!" Winking at Sasha, he chuckles his naturally sinister-sounding chuckle.
At which point, his pants audibly rip again. The crescent moon swiftly phases into a half moon now. Reijo grips his pants even tighter with another "Bloody hells..." as he feels the cool sea breeze ever moreso...

"Sunny" |

(^_^)

"Sunny" |

Awe.. Is me person of interest all pinnin', then? :(

"Sunny" |

Sunny: Um... not absolutely sure what you're asking, but if you mean is your opponent down, then yes she is.
If you're asking if she's dead, then yes she bleeds out as you tend to her.
Awe.... :(
Behind you all, you see that Thurden's first opponent and Shaedeen's first kill start to dissolve into flaky ash.
Seeing that her efforts haven't workd out the way she'd hopd Sunny sighs, whispers something quielty in Elvish, before simply...
Acrobatics:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Tumbling backwards out of the door and closer to one of the 'Pointy' people still slashing away on deck.
I has moved m'selfs thingy to tha' new spot. (^_^)

Shaedeen M. Valzanar |

Even though she doesn't swing that way (both figuratively and literally--Shaedeen doesn't have the eye-catching curves or swaying walk the saucy redhead has--the young rogue can't help but watch in jealous admiration as Sasha struts back into Reijo's cabin.
Following Sunny, Shae moves out onto the deck, bringing her rapier to bear on another dark intruder.
Perception Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Shaedeen rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 for piercing damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3 (18-20)

Thurden 'Salt' Leadbeard |

Thurden eyes Reijo up and down before quickly hustling out onto the deck. 'Ain't nothing worth hiding. Come along.'
just a double move cause my dwarf legs only let me go so fast.

Reijo Ilvonen |

"If ye must, love." Reijo replies to Sasha with a sly grin. His eyes look the ginger up and down slowly as her curvy figure moves back into the cabin. He clearly has half a mind to go in with her...
"Don't take long! We gots slaughterin' ta do," he suddenly hollers when the gravity of the situation hits back into consciousness, when he also realizes he's the last one standing in the hallway.
Grabbing a bloodied cloak from one of the dead, he swiftly ties it around his waist. He then makes a swift dash behind his companions, letting what's left of Sasha's pants audibly shred along the way.
Reijo only notices curves in motion:
Perception vs DC 20: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

"Sunny" |

So... is we winnin'? Does there be more a us than there is a them, like?

DM-Camris |

Thurden 'Salt' Leadbeard |

Thurden steps up on an enemy, nodding Reijo around his enemy to establish a flank. The dwarf takes a swing at the combatant before him with his scythe.

*Bop*

Shaedeen M. Valzanar |

Shaedeen gives Sunny a nod as the elf flanks her foe.
Now I just need to pick a vulnerable spot....
Unfortunately, her target shifts at the last moment. At least she doesn't accidentally stab Sunny.
Shaedeen rapier (flanking): 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8 for piercing damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

"Sunny" |

At least she doesn't accidentally stab Sunny.
That's why I be simply thumpin' peoples. Ye can't drop nuffin' an' ye can't be jus', y'know, be pokin' peoples. Well... 'cept maybe with ye fingers. Kind'a.
Hmmmmm....

Reijo Ilvonen |

Round 8
Nodding back to Thurden with a joyfully evil smirk, Reijo spots a dangling cut rope from a damaged rigging... and leaps! He soars just above the assassin's head with a loud,
"Ha HAAAA!"
A bit too close... for the overzealous pirate leaves himself open to a swing from his enemy below.
Reijo lands in flanking position with the dwarf, and swings back with his cutlass again.
Actions: Move, then attack.
Acrobatics vs enemy's CMD (to avoid AoO): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Cutlass Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 2 = 13
Cutlass Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

DM-Camris |

The fight on deck is fierce, but with the first mate and crew driving the assassins before them, and you driving the other way, the outcome was not in doubt.
Strangely, the assassins are silent. Not even when they are hit in battle do they make a sound. When they fall, their bodies seem to turn to ash and disappear after a few seconds, leaving what weapons they were using behind.

"Sunny" |

Innitially Sunny is most puzzled as to where all the strange people's have gone. Absently poking at near empty deck space...
When Yhendorn staggeres out into the open all disraught and teary eyed Sunny's first reaction is to immediately hug the poor fellow, her own demeanour crumbling into complete sadness as well. Before, suddenly, shock manifests and she scampers off to see the terrible scene with her own large, blue eyes.
"Oh noes!"
Percpetion:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Thurden 'Salt' Leadbeard |

Thurden plonks the butt of his scythe to the deck and leans against it. He watches tiredly as the crew scrambles about the deck. 'You going to fix your drawers?' Thurden calls to Reijo.
To himself he mutters 'Maybe if I hurry I can get to sleep before he begins necking that doxie again'

Shaedeen M. Valzanar |

Shaedeen tries to recall who exactly dead Master Sephriel was.
Ah yes--the snooty elf lord. Too snooty to join us at the captain's table last night. Or...was he already dead by then??!! Dun-Dun-DUN!!
"I'm putting on my armor before rushing off, in case there are more of those ash men about."
And with that, the teen vanishes back inside her cabin for a couple of minutes.

DM-Camris |

Running back down the passageway you came out of, you arrive at the stateroom that Lord Sephriel occupied. The doors were wide open. Captain Veane was standing still in the hatchway, stunned.
This finely decorated cabin contains a brightly colored Qadiran rug, a small bookshelf, several storage trunks and barrels, and a modest bed. The windows were black with the night sky over the open ocean. Lying face down on the ruffled, blood-soaked sheets rests the body of a tall, golden-haired elf in elegant bedclothes, his face covered in an intricately carved wooden mask.

"Sunny" |

Sunny ignores the fellow standing at the door and pads aross the carpet to where the poor Kin is splayed across the fabric of the bed.
She kneels, gently stroking the departed's arm. Momentarily interupted as the Captain adjusts the body by turning Sephriel over.
The pair continue their vigil with the desceased. Sunny kneeling, blue eyes closed as she quielty recites something in Elvish. The Captain's gaze darkly looking into some other space.

Reijo Ilvonen |

Reijo gives Thurden a smirk. "These are done for. Guess me lovely love's got none ta wear now, oh well..."
The strange ashen occurrence sobers Reijo's mood. Intensity in his blue eyes, a grimace mars his scarred handsome face as he looks down, kneeling to touch and examine the nearest pile of ash.
He then heads back to his quarters, where Sasha was last seen. Moments later, the rapscallion returns with his normal motley attire on, and armaments equipped. He ponders the cold body resting in bed, and asks aloud, "So. Who wants him dead?"
Not sure what skill checks are needed for examining the ash, but here's a raw roll. And a pretty damn good one, too! Hope it's actually useful... :)
Raw Roll: 1d20 ⇒ 20

"Sunny" |

He ponders the cold body resting in bed, and asks aloud, "So. Who wants him dead?"
From where she kneels upon the floor Sunny quietly responds, "Bad peoples. Bad peoples be wantin' kin deader..."

Thurden 'Salt' Leadbeard |

Seeing Reijo head back towards the cabin, Thurden reluctantly makes his way to the investigation, giving up on sleep for now. When he arrives on the scene the dwarf begins to look the body over for anything unusual.
Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 Looking for cause of death(other than all that blood being outside of him) or any signs of anything other than normal physical wounds

"Sunny" |

Looking for cause of death...
*Points helpfully* He's got holes in 'im. See?

"Sunny" |

Ohhh... *Nods* Like. Wus it pointy things makin' tha' holes.... Or claw-y things makin' tha' holes.... Or toothy things makin' tha' holes...
(^_^)

DM-Camris |

"So. Who wants him dead?"
Reijo's question gets nothing but a lot of shrugs from the disbanding gawkers.

DM-Camris |

Thurden, looking over the body, finds over a dozen deep gashes in his back. You are pretty sure actual death was due to exanguination (he bled out).

DM-Camris |

Examining the cabin door...
Examining the windows...
The cabin windows, being a deck below the Captain's cabin, lay close to the waterline and turn out to be sealed against water intrusion by big waves. There is no sign of an intruder gaining access that way.

"Sunny" |

As Suny kneels and ponders...

Eventually Sunny sighs, finishes spending time paying her respects to the poor fellow, she stands leaving Thurden and Reijo to their looking and poking and searching.
She wanders out looking for the Captain to offer some slight words of solace.
