Oh am quite safe. There are dozens of suburbs to burn through before the flames reach here. :P

Freind has already had their wild life sanctuary torched by the fires. They managed to open tha gates/gates before they had to flee. :(

The smoke is making life.... sooty... though.

When it's blowing in the right direction... We have the occasional burn leaf or bits of bark some floating down from the clouds of ash.

Tomorrow's temperatures are set to climb into the 110+ (Fahrenheit). We might get storms the following few days... maybe..

Oh, good, looks like that Seattle Rain I sent y'alls way finally arrived. Now if it takes proper root, it'll be around for the next 6 months. It tends to be pretty picky though so it may not give you our particular brand of gray.

Years ago it was floods sending people under. Plus we've had decades for suburban creep and development to spread out into country-sides. Least we don't have bears, lions or wolves trying to eat us.

You can get eaten by all of those where I live! Well, you have to go out into the woods and be a real dummy, but it's possible.

I've got bears and wolves further north from me, but no lions. I think...

I live north of Seattle. We have wolves, black bears and mountain lions all within 2 hours of where I live. You can also get killed by mountain goats if you're so inclined!

LOL. At first read, I thought you meant regular lions, like from Africa. I live in a more urban area, but we have black bears and wolves in New York state too, north of NYC. I don't think we have mountain lions here, though. Or mountain goats! Though I may be mistaken.

I'll opt for death by none of those animals, thank you very much. :)

A bear ate my shoe one time! Woke up in the morning and my shoe was gone off the front porch(my dad took no shoes in the house to the next level). I had to go to school in mismatched shoes that day and got new shoes after school. A few days later we were walking around the woods around our house and saw a pile of bear poo with bits of my sneaker in it.

I think Camris wants us to investigate the remaining parts of the ship (per this post). I wasn't sure where to go next, so I was hoping someone else had a preference. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we're somewhere near the upper decks. So unless anyone has a strong preference otherwise, I suggest we check out the following ship areas in this order: fore deck, main deck, aft deck, then head to the the crew's cabin, the main hold & galley, and then the two cargo holds. I think we covered the other areas Camris listed already.

It got me 2 and a half paid weeks off! No infections but I work with special needs adults so we shut down to help protect our students.

As some of you might know, I don’t have home internet access, walking instead to my local library to use their free wifi. Currently, I have a wifi hotspot on loan. The loan expires today, and while I don’t have to return it until the start of May, as I understand it the hotspot shuts down automatically when your loan period ends. With the library closed “until further notice”—‘til early April at the very least—I may be unable to post for the foreseeable future. If this happens, please bot my PC or have them step “offstage” temporarily if that’s more convenient.

Hopefully my hotspot keeps working and there won’t be an interruption in my ability to post…but if it doesn’t, my state’s pretty much in lockdown mode for God knows how long and I have no good posting options. I’m looking into assisted/emergency internet access, but the application process takes some time.

I’m hoping I’ll post to games as usual tomorrow, but if I can’t…Stay safe and I’ll get back in touch when I can.
