Beginning on Oct 5th - Jan 4th, we are having an official Pathfinder Society Play by Post Game Day. Info about the event can be found HERE. I am going to be running Voice in the Void, an early Blakros Museum scenario, (and one of the best scenarios in my opinion).
I'm opening up a recruitment thread for that game, (and also to hopefully plug other games). If you are interested, you will need to first register through the event's site, located HERE, which is free. The Game itself will be held on these Paizo boards, and utilize Google Drive (drawings) for interactive maps.
Feel free to post here, but it is on a first come, first serve basis according to who reserves a virtual "seat" through the Warhorn site.

As of right now, I have only John W. (Ranger 2) registered on Warhorn.

Still have slots for a few more players.

Bump
If I don't have more players join by Oct 1st, I will probably request to run a different game.

![]() |

It doe not. Would you be interested in either:
PFS 3 - 16 The Midnight Mauler (3rd-7th)
or
PFS 4 - 18 The Veteran's Vault (1st-5th)
Since you had already signed up for a seat, I would rather keep you in that spot (if you want) than to kick you out, since you could have otherwise went for a different scenario.

![]() |

That's fine. I'll email the VO's and see if that's a possibility. When I know, I'll let you know so that you are assured a seat.

So, we now have 4 players for the Voice in the Void scenario, and I have not heard anything back from the VO team. 4 players are enough to run, which is cool, because I really like this scenario. It's one of my top 3, at least from the DM's side of the screen.
The group I have listed so far is:
1.John W. Ranger 2
2.Keith G. Fighter 1
3.Thomas W. Bard 3
4.Gregg R. Alchemist 1
Until Oct 5th, we are kind of on hold. So, if you would like, feel free to introduce yourself and your character a bit. I find it very helpful if you can do as Morvius has and copy/paste some of the relevant stats into the "Race" and "Class/Level" level sections of your charactr's character sheet. No particular order or style, but it does greatly speed things up, and also helps out when posting from phones or tablets sometimes.
I'm going to be utilizing both these boards as well as Google Drawings for interactive maps. I'll post a link to the maps both in the campaign section, as well as under my GM avatar, so it will be easily found. Using Google, you will be able to move your "mini" around, and it works fairly similar to Paint. If for some reason you have issues interacting with the maps, (typical in touch screens and cell phones) I can either email you a picture or you can simply describe actions. For example "I want to move towards the leader and attack", and we can move for you.
If you are new to PbP's, well, different people different methods, but here are some things I will be doing that might be slightly different than other games. For one, I will be rolling a few things for you, to speed things up. I will probably roll init for everyone, and then give an Init roster. I will also group some things together, just to speed things up. So, if you are fighting 2 wolves, a giant, and 3 thugs, I will probably have the two wolves and three thugs all go on one init. I will also post Init by Groups, and rather than have everyone wait for their turn, simply say "Group 1 is up", which also means that Group 2 should get their actions ready to go. It is perfectly fine to post actions slightly outside of order, specially if you think you might be too busy tomorrow when your turn might come. Just mention that. The actual Init order will happen in order, so if player one says their action first, but actually goes after player two, well player two's actual action happens first. I'll also use a bit of common sense if something happens that might make you want to change up what you do.
I may also roll some Saves for you, and at times might even roll certain skills for you (typically in a reactionary sense). One thing that I ask, as I like to use spoilers, is that if one player makes the check and finds out that the commoner is actually a WereLichDragonMummyKnightofDoom, is that said player also let the other's know in character, but also in their own words. :)
I use the following general format for text:
Bold indicates in-character dialogue.
Italics generally indicates either DM narration/description or feelings or thoughts.
Blue is for Out-Of-Character discussion that is relevant to the situation, but probably not long enough for the a post in the Discussion thread.
Feel free to offer to roll skills or checks even if I do not ask for them. Occasionally, I will post things similar to this:
That just means you can try to roll either (or both) Know Religion or Know History, and if you get the DC, click to open and read the spoiler. If you didn't get high enough, please (honor system) don't peek. If I do not say "as above, but also. . ." then you don't need to check them all, as I've copied the info.
I'm perfectly fine if people ask questions, and I am also perfectly fine if people call me out for something, (within reason). For one, there might me special circumstances you and your character might not be aware of. I'm not a master of the rules, so I can make mistakes. Being an older scenario, it also might do something a little wonky. But I'm fine if you add in a "hey, is there a reason my nat 20 missed? Normally that's an auto hit." It's also very possible that I didn't catch something relevant on your character sheet (hey I'm an Elf that's immune to Sleepy-sleepy). So if you have a question, comment, need clarification, whatever, let me know. On the same note, if you feel that you have something that might work in place of something I ask for, bring it up. I am all about reasonably working with players and creative solutions.

A taciturn (almost to the point of surliness) pale-haired half-elf enters the briefing room without making much noise at all, an unstrung bow over his shoulder. He slumps in one of the chairs, curled in slightly on himself, and looks around at the rest of the gathered Pathfinders with a curt nod. "Morvius."

![]() |

A sturdy human stands to meet the welcome and shakes hands, his firm handshake is strong. His armor is worn but well kept, and he has a pole arm leaned against the wall by his seat, from it dangle a set of full gauntlets. Well met, my name is Mur

![]() |

A tired and travel-worn dwarf walks into the room. His face is a wilderness of rust colored hair surrounding a pair of flinty eyes.
He looks around as if trying to make sure he's in the right place, "Urm, I'm Virgil Anvilsinger. I'm either here to be sent on assignment or I'm in trouble for a situation involving a keg, three turnips, and a duck. The note I got wasn't specific."

Another human walks in, obviously out of place in his current surroundings. He is dressed in Keleshite fashion, with well-made hide armor and carrying a comparably-crafted spear with several bright silk streamers strung from the cold iron head. On his heels walks a small - well, small for a dinosaur, anyway - well-trained allosaurus. "I am Darvan, and this," he indicates his companion, "is Sahba."

Signed up, but it looks like Barham's current scenario will not finish as soon as I had hoped. I'll have a replacement character up soon. Thinking Cavalier at the moment.

![]() |

Her name is Gilda, she works at the foxy lady. Scaly skin, Vir just got too drunk. She keeps trying to hunt him down, newly weds and all...
Mur chuckles at the though of the tiny story he made up.
Some humor fellas! Let us have some drinks, go out on the town, we are early for our assignment anyway. I have the perfect hangover cure if we get in over our heads, Mur smiles, Sober you up like a preacher on Sunday

A woman walks in and at the mention of the offer for drinks, smiling broadly. "Wine for me, thank you, if you truly meant that, and I hope I am not intruding. My name is Grace, and I believe I was expected."
As she sits, she folds her dark green velvet cloak behind her, and smoothes out the creases in her lighter green traveling clothes. She laughs lightly, and her dark red hair, highlighted with blonde tips here and there, seems to shift colors between varying shades of blue and dark red, depending on the angle of the lights as she leans forward to ask, her green eyes lighting up, "And please tell me of this hangover cure. You have me intrigued!"

"There are all sorts of remedies that a smooth-talking snake oil salesman will peddle on you. Folk remedies, home remedies, herbal treatments, urine from a roan bull, and the like. They're all, for the most part, worthless. One of my favorites was a recipe from a knife-throwing gambler who wore a really odd hat. He used a mixture of ipecac, hot mustard, cayenne, asafoetida, and, would you believe it, gunpowder!" The dwarf chuckles to himself.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems like they changed the way to attach thread to a game. So I am going to close this one down. Please head over to THIS ONE for the new game location. I'm going to be deactivating this one shortly.
