This is the discussion thread for the Pathfinder Eberron play-by-post Crya's Twilight.

Character level will be 1d3+2 to generate a character between 3rd and 5th level.

Stats are 4d6, drop the lowest. If scores are too low, a re-roll will be allowed.

1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 6) = 19 17
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 1) = 9 8
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 3, 3) = 14 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 1, 6) = 18 17
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 6) = 13 12

So: 17, 17, 14, 12, 12, and 8.

Still need to do background and appearance but here's the basics.

Height/Weight 2d8 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
Age 1d6 ⇒ 3

I'm kinda waiting for you to look over her sheet and give me some clue as to where we'll be starting before finishing her.

Traveling papers and identification papers, possibly an arcane signet ring. For the Mark of Storm you have to choose which spell-like ability you get, and once chosen you cannot change it or choose another. Other than that it looks decent. Consider when your dragonmark developed (usually around puberty after the Test of Siberys) and also where it is located on your body.

Changed signet ring to arcane signet ring and spent the extra gold required, added traveling papers, and identification papers (which I thought of three times while doing my equipment and still managed to forget). Altered the spoiler "Mark of Storm" to just show the chosen spell-like ability and the balance check bonus as opposed to the full copied quote from the dragon magazine.

I've already decided on where the dragonmark is (between shoulder blades) will consider when it showed and work that into my background when I write that up. Going with both parents also being half-elf. Can you tell me yet where we'll be starting, or anything else about what's ahead? I'd like to know so I can work into her background what has brought her to the starting location.

The lounge is part of the galley. The kitchen and bar opens up into the room where you saw the patrons and crew.

Above deck is the windwheel, on deck are the elemental struts and the captain's quarters. Entering the double doors are stairs leading down to the first deck, with a few patron quarters and the lounge/galley and kitchen. On the second deck is the remaining crew quarters and rooms reserved for higher paying patrons or extra storage. The lowest deck is nothing but shipments and storage.

I'm aware, just keep in mind he is a solitary/support character. He wants you to take the reigns.

Sorry about that. I not only misunderstood the table, thinking it was showing me what I could summon based on caster level (which I realize makes no sense) but was also forgetting that she's only a level 2 caster even though she's a level 3 character. Blood of Khyber letting her use conjuration at a level higher.

Hello, just wanted to drop by and say that I've really enjoyed reading through this roleplay. Eberron's a great setting and the roleplay so far has really lived up to it. Good show. :)

I'll post this afternoon, didn't get much sleep last night and am going to crash hard when Freyja goes to school.

Is Kiva not suppose to be aware of her bloodline? It seems that at some points you're acting from the perspective that she is, and others that she isn't. Just want to make sure we're on the same page so I can play her accordingly.

You have two levels of sorceress, and you are 23. So what you do know of your bloodline is very little. In proper society, all things Khyber-related are usually shunned, reviled, or killed outright. Khyber is where fiends and abberations spawn from, the Dragon Below is like Hell under earth. So it's not exactly something you'd want to flaunt. I have been treating it as though You may know the extent of some of your abilities, your House certainly doesn't, nor is it common knowledge.

Does Talzin not take further aggressive actions on his turn aside from taking smack?

I know it wasn't specified in her background, but I want to make sure that we're on the same page now. It looks as if you're playing off the premise that Saville's body was carried out to sea. She was only presumed dead, and no body was buried for her funeral?

No she can have been buried. Either one works lol.

Since I don't think we have picked a bloodline for Khyber to be based off of, please select one of these base bloodlines for Kiva and add the powers accordingly:

Aberrant
Warped (Wildblooded Bloodline off of Aberrant)
Draconic
Infernal
Rakshasa

Actually, it looks like you may have already picked Draconic since you have Claws listed...

So if I take another like you were suggesting, how does that fit in? Would she end up with the special things from both draconic and whatever else or would she have to choose between the two at each marker level?

I can see adding Aberrant for a crossblood with the draconic. I'll see about making any necessary changes this weekend.
