Liberty's Edge

Cool.

I figure he actually rents a shack, at this point, unless he's making payments to own somehow. (saddled with a mortgage. Woohoo!) At any rate, it's a tiny, leaky, drafty place - just big enough to cook in, brew in, and sleep in. I figure he has a shed full of drying herbs, mushrooms, fruits, sugars, and grains...and a small garden alongside the house...maybe a fig tree or two if he's lucky. He'll have a window box or three for growing fresh herbs...mostly basic stuff, you know.

One more thing...as a good naturist with survival skills, he has no aversion to eating insects. He has a little comprehension of how to fix them to make them palatable. Seeing as he can rarely afford good meat, they make for a lot of the protein in his diet. :p

wow....tough life. O.k. let's finalized characters in the discussion.

I would like an alias with a character sheet filled out.

@EldonG, I don't know about that program you used, but you could just apply the NG in an appropriate area.

I've got it in there, now...not a big deal. I'll go ahead and make an alias.

I'm guessing you're referring to the new backstory when you say that it's really, really good.

If else, please clarify.

EDIT: Assuming that the soldier background is the good one, changing that up for you right away.

Just saw the thread. It sounds interesting and I was wondering if I missed the boat on this one?

@Aelia. I just appreciate not having a spartan in my rag tag group of common folk.

@Gilthanis. No, you didn't miss it. What do you got?

ARGH!!!!!!

I should probably change the !@#$%^&*! alias back to the adept build...

I was thinking an adept build. Geared towards healing (per heal skill) some minor magic to facilitate this. Probably female, human or half-elf.

Basic backstory: mom was a citizen, dad, Tobias was a military man. He died in the last war with honor. He saw a weakness in his units formation and brought it to the commander who ignored it. Unfortunately Tobias was right, but protected the weak flank. The commander sent reinforcements, but it was too late, Tobias was slain.

Her mother, Gwendolyn was a priestess for the church. She felt an obligation to heal the soldiers from the past war and heal whatever wound there was caused for the citizenry of the state. Seraphina (Sera) to her friends, followed in her mothers footsteps. She joined the church as well, in hopes to provide a positive impact to the citizens, or anyone else needing aid. [i]"All people need help at some point, being there is my destiny"[i].

Seraphina Newton | (job) healer | (citizen) yes | (race) human or half-elf | (gear) heal kit, wooden holy symbol, dagger | (living) church

@Aelia. Man, don't worry about it. Both are good. Do you want a guard or a clergywoman? Except Gilthanis just said that they were interested in playing the healing clergywoman. So, the guard sounds great.

@Gilthanis. Dad was a citizen as well, because one can only be military if a citizen. Very good character.

Dark Archive

I apologize but I will have to drop out, I hope you all have a lot of fun.

NO! ok, it's cool. whatever.

Still working on her, but I've got the givens and a backstory!

And...done!

I put a lot of stuff in her inventory, feel free to veto anything you think is excessive.
