The statue seems to hold the body fairly firmly, crucified as it is. As Ruperta goes near the statue, she seems the statue's eyes begin to glow...

Oh oh!
"Don't come near!"
Ruperta will throw herself towards Ishani Dhatri (using the 30' speed increase from blessing of fervor), touch him, and try to use her Dimensional Hop Domain power to teleport them both 30' back, towards her friends, all in the same round.

Thrak and Slumper make quick work of the strange statue, knocking it to pieces. When it crumbles, the lifeless corpse of Ishani Dhatri falls to the ground, freed of its tomb. There is a feeling as if something oppressive has released its burden in the room.
Sabina moves forward and hefts the body onto her shoulder. "There's nothing much of interest on this floor: jailer's office, cells. But there's an older level below where Ileosa used to explore or we could try sneaking back up again. What's your play?"
Ruperta of Hetzau
Ruperta kneels and cradles Ishani's body.
"Another innocent killed by the Queen's evil. The need to end her reign of terror is imperative. I swear I'll do everything in my power to see him restored to his natural life span."
She gets a scroll from her haversack, and uses it on the body, kissing it on the forehead while tears fall from her eyes.
"Bravery and the will of justice should never die."
She casts Gentle Repose from the spell on the body, preserving it for 3 days.
She lays the body with care, and composes herself.
"Let's go... let's see what secrets the evil Queen keeps down there."
Our Mysterious Benefactor
Sabina nods and hefts the body, leading the way back to the spiral stair that brought you to this level. It curves downward, going nearly 100 feet down into the ground below. Below, the stonework changes, becoming less masonry and more as if someone sculpted this floor from a single piece of stone. Faded runes are carved all over, some recognizable, but most not.
A long hallway emerges into a round room. This circular chamber has a sixty-foot-high ceiling supported by a huge greenish-gray pillar in the middle. Part of the southeast wall has collapsed, obstructing one quarter of the floor space with a ten-foot-high pile of rubble. The pillar seems to be some sort of enormous plug, though what it keeps in or out, you cannot say. It is colder than the surrounding stone and it makes your flesh crawl to touch it...
Sabina stops. "I have never been down here. Ileosa would come down here, usually alone but sometimes with servants. She forbade the rest of us from it. Where should we go? West or south?"
Our Mysterious Benefactor
You move south, turning into a room. A passageway leading to the southwest seems to have once been closed off after only a few feet by an ancient brick wall, but a man-sized hole has been smashed through it.
Our Mysterious Benefactor
Another short hallway leads into a long rectangular room. The walls of this elongated chamber are decorated with bas reliefs depicting a great market in a bustling city. The floor is littered with debris and fragments of ceramic, glass and bronze, as if hundred of containers were smashed to pieces a long time ago. Four alcoves in the southwest wall each contain a statue of a kneeling servant with an oversized head, but the statues are too crumbled to be otherwise recognizable. When Ruperta's light falls upon the statues, they begin to faintly glow with a phosphorescent light. At the far end of the room, another short passage continues deeper.
Ruperta of Hetzau
Ruperta tries to recognize anything about the room or its contents.

You'll need one casting of Restoration if it's a temporary negative level or two if they're permanent negative levels.
Ruperta stares hard at the statues, but in their state, she can't identify them. But something definitely seems to be about to happen...
Ruperta of Hetzau
The bad news is that Ruperta doesn't have Restoration prepared today. The good news is that we have the material component handy, and first thing tomorrow she can cast it on Pai.
Ruperta runs away from the statues, while screaming at the others to do the same.
"Run away! They are dangerous!"
