I have many characters in the 1 to 5 range.
I am looking at PCs that can cover the following roles:
- Tank (2 choices. Creepy mounted wayang or Tien Tengu with wolf)
- Healer (nationalistic oracle & enthusiastic racist)
- DPS + disable device (kineticist, angry at the society for using people as pawns in a game)
- knowledge + skills (enthusiastic clerk with no combat ability)
- A paladin with greater mercy (good guy with no guile at all, emotionally simple and direct)

In subtier 4-5, I have two PCs available.
* Girion,Taldan knight of Iomedae and direct descendant through many fathers from Aroden the Last Azlanti. Brave and stalwart, he seeks to emulate his "father" in defense of humanity.
* Davnet Dragos, fetchling arcanist, captured by the Society during the infamous Grand Convocation raid of 4712 A.R. Now reformed and a loyal Pathfinder agent, he is still unsure of how to fit in amongst the "lightlings" of this plane. His first mission sent him to a funeral, and this has formed his reference point for all of human society as a result.
In subtier 1-2, I could play either of the above, or:
* Tarn Thrice-Cursed, dwarf scholar of the occult, who fled his family rather than give up his unsavory studies;
* Fensyriath Orochi, wayang archaeologist searching for physical evidence of the ages before the Age of Darkness;
* Sslithiss, nagaji empyreal knight, crusader against evil.

Five is a fine number if you want to cap it there, but feel free to rope in one more person. It's not like we don't have the time.
Speaking of time, I am drawing on some inspiration and creating a small scenario in which all the PCs (once you pick them) can introduce themselves and have a little RP fun.
----
The rain has been steady all morning, and there is a distinct chill in the air, quite unseasonal for this early in the fall. The clientele at the Crimson Coin is a soggy bunch, most clustered around the tavern's huge fire, or else hanging out by the fighting pit waiting for the next bout to start. The humidity and the drying clothes makes the place smell like a wet dog, and not one of those pampered Petal District ones either.
The tavern's owner, Torman Iates, a man of such considerable girth that he's acquired the nickname "the Gelatinous Cube" is already ensconced on his triple-reinforced balcony where he can see all the goings-on of his establishment. Courier children from the Irorium come in regularly to deliver messages to the bookies and bet-makers about the events happening there, but it is a slow day even at the world's greatest fighting ring.
The ringmaster, a short, blonde halfling with a megaphone nearly as big as himself, announces the next fight: "The next match will be Wilmara the Unelected vs. Thomasus the Kellid. Place your bets, folks, place your bets."
You all have at least another hour before Second Bells, the time when you've been told to meet Venture-captain Drandle Dreng at the gates of the Grand Lodge. Since that's only a five minute walk from the Crimson Coin, you've got some time to kill.

Auke Teeninga wrote:Shall we move the introductions to the Gameplay thread? :-)Since the "scenario" I presented above is not actually part of the PFS scenario, you're welcome to do it either here or there.
I'd like to have a clear distinction between in Character Talk and planning! :-)
I think the GM has to create the thread though! ;-)
Oh, I tried to create an investigator, but it's just not my type, so I'm going for a Wizard! (specialist of some kind...)

In process of updating my profile - I haven't converted his remaining summoner level to unchained yet. Bit of a waste, since he is in the process of retraining out of summoner into arcanist (occultist) anyway...

Thanks!
The poetry I have been quoting actually comes from Shams-ud-Din Muhammad writing under the name of Hafiz. He was a Sufi poet who lived in the 1300s (about 1320 to 1390) and was a compatriot to Rumi.
The first quote is from a 1897 translation published in a book called the Divan of Hafiz.
The second is a work from a book called "The Gift: Poems by Hafiz the great Sufi master" and it is a very loose and colloquial translation of Hafiz's works written by Daniel Landinsky. Definitely worth picking up! :-)

Although I don't encourage you to read the reviews for "School of Spirits" (as some of them have spoilers), I just wanted to toot my own horn to say that I currently have the best-reviewed scenario in Season 7. Whee! I know better than to take accolades (or critiques) by our community too seriously (as people can easily succumb to fanboyism/nerd rage), but it's always nice to see one's work appreciated.

I love you all, but this pacing is killing me.
It's really tough to stay motivated, to stay in character, to stay connected when there isn't a consisting posting.
If we had a 6th player, I'd be politely excusing myself from this game. I want to play in games with active posts and players who want to play.
Are we capable of doing better?

I've sent all of you (except for Vince) a link to your chronicle sheets. Vince, as soon as you get back to me about the name/number discrepancy I mentioned in the IC thread, I'll send you one as well. Once I do, I'll also report the game. Please let me know if I made any mistakes on your chronicle sheets or in the online reporting.
