Davnet nods curtly to the man. "The information should be destroyed, so that no one should have to look over their shoulders." Like we would trust him to use the information wisely!
(Colson Maldris is probably going to send other Pathfinders to kill us if he doesn't get his way...)
If no one objects, Davnet will gather the notes and burn them on the spot using a spark spell.

Egmund frowns, "If they are to be destroyed it should be done quickly and completely. We should not leave even a single line."
He frees a flask of alchemists fire from this bandolier.

Sad looks at the elemental wondering if he could have done a better job, but no one bothered to even ask Sad if he wanted to help. Sad hangs his head.
When the elemental is done, Sad will gather up the ashes, storing every one in a pouch.
Sad is good enough not to litter. Sad good packminder.

The papers go up quickly in smoke and ashes under the fierce attention of the fire elemental. Colson Maldris looks down sadly and sighs. Once it is all over, he straightens up and looks again to Lilybeth.
"Please tell my brother ... tell him that I hope he finds some peace, and that I have thought of him every day."
Making a quick salute, he turns on his heels and heads off into the darkness, his distinctive tri-corner hat swallowed up in the gathering gloom of the overcast evening.
Behind you, an unholy howling begins in the Precipice District, quickly picked up by two other voices.
"I think it's time to head home," J states matter-of-factly.
----
Back at Dacilane manor, J addresses all of you.
"Thank you. From me and Grishan too. He says to tell you that he thinks you made the right decision concerning the notes. As a child he wanted to be an Eagle Knight like Colson. His brother got his wings so young, and Grishan wanted to follow him anywhere, and fight for freedom, no matter what. He thinks that perhaps now he understands that things aren't always so black and white, and there are always secondary considerations. He also realizes that his ties to me are much stronger now than those to his brother. He wishes him well, but feels that that relationship is in the past now."
She addresses her own concerns as well. "I think that I am ready to finally leave the Drownyard behind, but I've also come to see that I can't follow in my mother's footsteps. I think I will strike out on my own and get to know my own powers and abilities a bit better now that Grishan and I aren't as shackled to the past. I'm also thinking about joining the Pathfinder Society. Could one of you perhaps put in a good word for me? I know that I wasn't much help in our adventure, but I feel that I can learn to help other spirits trapped on this plane, just as we helped Cassiel. Maybe the Society will be able to help me with that as well."
Please post your PFS numbers and Day Job rolls (if any) along with any final RP posts.

Sad Rock walks away from Junia's place unsure about what was accomplished, and what was helped kept hidden. To Sad, truth matters most when it eases pain and suffering...and his actions today revealed some truths and eliminated some suffering. That was good.
Sad nods vigorously at that conclusion.
However, truth was also hidden. Others decided to destroy truth because it was convenient, because it was hiding a truth that might have been better exposed.
And for that, Sad hangs his head glumly.

To Leia: "Sad like your shoes. Also, you need talk more."
To Davnet: "Sad not get know you very well. Maybe next mission."
Sad offers his meaty fists to all for a Lastwall fistbump, his ritual greeting/goodbye.

Sad sits glumly in the courtyard of the Pathfinder Grand HQ, waiting for his next mission. He, like he always truly is, is alone. And sad.

Davnet nods to Junia at their parting. "Best of luck, J. And to you, Grishan. I will include a favorable mention of your enthusiasm in my report to the Venture-Captain." As he turns, he frowns, and turns back. "... but I feel I should caution you against this blue-clad stranger. His insides do not seem to match the purity of his blue-coated exterior. Be wary with your trust."
To the group, Davnet raises both arms high over his head, fists clenched, in his odd-but-characteristic salute. "It was an honor to work with you all. I hope the Open Road brings us together again. I apologize for my... directness, when our opinions differed on the proper means of progress. You have all helped me understand this place, and its people, a little more."

"Sad like your heart. You like Sad, only not see true sorrow in everything. Someday you see as Sad sees. There is only sorrow."
Egmund thinks very hard about this before coming to a conclusion,
"There is sadness in life Sad Rock but there is also joy. The fact that nothing lasts makes it more precious while it is there. You need both to feel both."Before the team parts ways,
"It was good working with each of you. Good to see that there are Pathfinders that can choose something other than violence. I would gladly work with any of you again."
Thanks for the game!
