Filios cheers on Tina from the front row! Of course, offering advice. :-)

Get him Tina! Use your reach! Hit and move, hit and move!

Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

I'll assume we start in reach of each other
Atk: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

"Sting him, that usually works!" Tik-Tik calls out from his birds-eye view. He then realizes his mistake. "Oops, you don't have a stinger! Just punch him then!"

Whoops, forgot the -2 penalty for 2-weapon fighting.

The caravan guard lands a good punch before Tina can react, but his speed comes at the price of power, and though his punch is noticable, Tina is still above half strength when he gets done. In response Tina lands two solid blows, which while enough to throw off his second punch, don't seem to slow him down.

Round 1
attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Round 3
attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
damage 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Tina is just too quick for the guard as he is unable to connect after the first punch and ends up going down like a sack of potatoes in the 3rd round.

I believe I am knocked out.

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

Tik-Tik just barely keeps himself from flying down and stinging the Ulfen man as he sees Tina fall. He settles for growling at him as he lands next to Tina to make sure she's all right.

Tina gets up, and walks out of the ring, like a drunk, but she has a smile on her face and faces her opponent"That was a good match, maybe some time later we can have a rematch."

The Ulfen barbarian just laughs as the dragon comes to protect Tina and grins at Tina's comment, stepping aside for the others to carry Tina out of the fighting area. 4 contestants remain: the Ulfen barbarian, one of Marik's brothers, an Taldoran squire, and a swarthy swashbuckling pirate looking type. All of the contestants who entered are gathered together, and a traveling cleric washes positive energy over them, bringing them all back to full health as final bets are taken.

Tina just watches the match, and is not going to take bets, but watches the barbarian's matches more closely.

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Filios smiles and slaps Tina on the back.

Well done lady! I must say that I am impressed with your fighting prowess.

He turns to one of the individuals taking bets.

I want 10GP on the swashbuckling pirate to win it all!

"I might be wiser to hold onto your bet, I think either the Ulfen barbarian, or one of Marik's brothers will win. Just my women's intuition."

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

I have beaten marik's brothers and the Ulfen barely beat you. I will stake my money with the dexterous pirate - much like myself!

The Ulfen dodged to within a centimeter of my punches, I did not even hit him once.

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

We shall see, Tina...nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The ulfen and the pirate face off, and this one actually takes a while as they dodge, weave, and hit each other's armor. The pirate lands more hits, but is unable to slow the Ulfen down, while the Ulfen lands fewer hits, but each one is noticable. Eventually, the pirate is unable to avoid enough blows he goes down, his hits simply not able to affect the Ulfen.

Marik's brother proves that he has indeed been training, and despite wearing no armor, dodges blows quite deftly as he throws 2 punches to his opponent's 1. At first, it looks like this fight will be a tough one as well, but then in the second round, the half-orc 1-2 punches the noble squire, sending him to the ground hard.

The cleric once more does a healing burst, and the final fight starts. It's a close fight going back and forth, and in a final burst of energy, they knock each other out at the same time.

The cleric does a final burst, and everyone retires to the tent for dessert as the two finalists split the prize, both more concerned about the experience than the gold.

Tina playfully with a smile says to Filios "Well, looks like my women's intuition was right."

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Filios laughs heartily, Indeed, Tina, indeed! Does that intuition extend to anything further that I should know about?

Tina replies playfully "Well, Even I don't know that answer."

@sunshadow21
Was that fight randomly done, or did you just go and write the script of the fight?

Who faced who in the next to last round was chosen, everything else was determined by actual dice rolls.

Choosen, before or after I made my women's intuition?
Were the Uflen and Marik's bro 2nd level?

Chosen based on capabilities and class matchups. Yes, they were both second level. The Ulfen was barbarian 2, the pirate was fighter 1/rogue 1, the squire was warrior 3, and Marik's brother was monk 2.

So they were chosen before my prediction of the out come, yes?

Yes

Holy crap, I guessed the correct finalists

That or my dice decided they liked you after I read your post. Either way, not a bad guess.

"Or your dice lean in favor female characters, or it liked to add a bit of irony. I gambled nothing and was right, while Filios gambled 10gp and got it wrong."

Knowing my dice, probably the last one about the 10 gp.

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

No doubt Sunshadow's dice were just geting back at me from before! LOL

"Well, that was entertaining."

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

"I didn't like it much, but it did give me an idea. I think I saw something like it one of my father's books..." Tik-Tik falls into a deep(for him anyway) state of concetration as he tries to remember what he read. He breaks from this state suddenly and jerks his head back toward the tents. "My dessert! I forgot it was being served when the fight started!" He leaps into the air and speeds back to see how many people liked his recipe.

Boomer had made sure that a three variations of the dessert had been made, and while a couple of them seemed to be doing better than the third, all of them seemed to be disappearing reasonably quickly. "Ah, there you are, my good dragon. Your dessert seems to be going over well enough. Tomorrow, we shall try 3 more variations, and the night after that another 3, and then finally pit the 3 winners against each other. That way, we shall get the strongest recipe possible and keep the patrons coming back for more. For now, circulate and see how each kind is doing so that we know which one to repeat."

Male Fort: + 1 Ref: +3 Will: +3, AC: 17 Touch: 15 Flat-Footed: 14, Init: +5 CMB -2 CMD 11, SR 12

"That's a wonderful idea! It's like the fighting that was just outside, right? I wonder if I could get people to place bets..." Tik-Tik muses, scratching his chin with his stinger as he hovers in the air. "It might not get as many participants as the fighting though."

"Well, Filios Care to join me for one of Tik Tik's dessert"

@Filios the RP town is up

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

I would be glad to join you!

Thanks for the heads up!

Tina takes a table with Filios to enjoy the dessert.

Not much seems to be happening at this point. Most folks are focused on finishing up their supper.

I have a character who's game has folded and was fun to play while adventure lasted. May they join?

It is open to all.

This is a giant open RP session. The tent stays open as long as people are hanging around, so have a seat and try the dessert.

Elf, Ranger: 4, Sorceres: 1

*Shakes head* How quickly one forgets. =)

There comes a soft thump from some where close by the darker of the tent walls.

Then the soft pad of bare feet,

Stealth:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

A figure moves to lurk beside the open tent-flap.

It's been so long I forgot I'd already been welcomed into said wonderful carnival atmosphere before. Said character has been picked up by a wonderful group of players and is doing well. *Bows*

I think AZ still has a few spots left in his game. it's a level 1 homebrew, that only stops when the player's stop and if offers new options and is using a custom realism modification.
recruitment thread

*Bows* Thank you very kindly. It would take a good amount of work to adjust Selyne down and into Paizo. Something I might do when I have more time. But Real Life presses relentlessly down upon me for the next few days and so I'd just be a burden or problem to others able to show something of worth and in time to get said offering off the ground.
