Downtime is available, so figure the cost and the time and make the rolls and finish up any leveling up details. Meantime, might want to RP some of the interactions between Khristov and Halcyon or Nadia.

Ingrit |

Will do.

Ingrit |

For reference. Anything anyone want to claim? I know the casters are settling the spell stuff.

The crown was supposed to be made of elk horn and enhanced the wearer's leadership abilities. Such an artifact might be why Pajalarane fled to this peak when her coup failed and she was pursued by the Jadwiga monarch a thousand years ago.
The chain shirt is +1 mithral chain shirt. The longsword is +1.
Mixed in with all this is
Coins 20 gp, 30 sp
Gems
Jasper (55 gp)
Obsidian (9 gp)
Rock Quartz (11 gp)
Total value = 75 gp
a morningstar with a rose design on the handle and spikes on its head resembling thorns
another morning star with a head that contains four raven heads with beaks facing out to form the spikes. The second morning star has gold plating and emblems on the handle.
The pack also has several items of clothing and a mask, all with some magic aura.

From Kristov
Amulet of Natural Armor +1
*Chain Shirt
Cold Weather Outfit
Masterwork Rapier
Ioun Torch*
Heatstone *5
Thieve's Ring
Potion of Endure ELements *2
Potion of Feather Step

Domitian Olavsgaard |

We should do spellcraft checks to start identifying stuff.
I added a new tab to the loot spreadsheet and am adding this stuff in. People are free to claim items.
I am claiming the Mithral Chain Shirt +1 for now. Next level when I intend to take some sort of Barbarian-like class, I will be in the market for medium armor and can give this back to the party.
Does someone want the Longsword +1? It's not Dom's preferred weapon but he currently lacks a magic weapon. So it becomes useful against DR/Magic. Nevermind, longsword doesn't work with swashbuckler features, someone else should take it.

Domitian Olavsgaard |

The unidentified magic items include at least the following:
Ring
Elk Horn Crown
Morningstar (Rose design)
Morningstar (Raven design)
Clothing
Mask

Erland Frey |

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16 spellcraft: ring
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18 spellcraft: elk horn crown
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26 spellcraft: rose mace
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27 spellcraft: raven mace
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 spellcraft: clothing
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26 spellcraft: mask

Clebsch RoW |

I'm working from my iPad at the moment, but when I get to my work computer, I'll post details of the as yet unidentified magic items. I remember some things, which I'll mention here. The ring is a ring of protection +1. From the pack of the survivor is a hat of disguise, sleeves of many garments, and a mask. I didn't describe the mask correctly. It does not have a magical aura; it just looks like a mask one might wear to a costume party, the kind that covers ones features but without any distinctive features of its own. Someone will have to put that on to see if it does anything.
More to come.

Ingrit |

I can use a longsword....in fact I might be the only one. It would be a back up weapon for cases where I'm forced into melee, but +1 is always nice, my current sword is cold iron.
As the person who most fits in where we'll be going, the sleeves of many garments might be useful for blending in with the locals.

Clebsch RoW |

I'm going to advance things toward the next stage of the adventure, but if you still have anything you want to pick up in town or have other issues to work out about who gets what, it can be assumed to have happened, so long as it gets done soon. We'll assume you stay in town long enough for the witch and the wizard to copy what spells they want/need, paying the cost for scroll creation and making whatever rolls need to be made in the discussion thread.

Clebsch RoW |

I've somehow lost track of the link to the loot table. Can someone post it? I'll add it to the campaign tab once I have it.

Regarding Ingrit's Megaloceros (Giant Elk)
The animal is large, but not yet fully up to the 7th level stats. The following are the stats it will have until Ingrit is 7th level:
Size: Large
Speed: 50 ft.
AC: +3 natural armor
Attack: Gore (1d8)
Ability Scores: Str 16, Dex 16, Con 16, Int 2, Wis 15, Cha 5;
Special Abilities: low-light vision, scent.
Some of these are modified by the 5th level Base Statistics. The above are the starting levels.
Let's assume Ingrit has had some time to train the animal so it has its full complement of tricks.
She an purchase a horse saddle which someone in the village would be able to adjust to fit.

Ingrit |

I'd lay claim to the +1 longsword for now. Like I said, a backup weapon, but a good one to have if I end up in melee.
Cool! I'm all for it, and yeah I'll get the saddle.

Erland Frey |

Okay, Erland is holding onto the Raven morningstar +1 for the time being.
As for scrolls: I'd like to get stinking cloud, twilight haze, and icicle dagger made up.
That's a total of 275 GP, and two days worth of time.
During his scribe time, Erland will also brew up a few potions:
Mage Armor
Reduce Person
CLW
Assuming we have the coin to scribe those scrolls, Erland will then use the icicle dagger & twilight haze scrolls to teach Fiske those spells.
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28 spellcraft vs DC 16 for Icicle Dagger
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19 spellcraft vs DC 17 for Twilight Haze
Will hold onto the Stinking Cloud scroll for the time being

Ingrit |

I guess at some point I should take mounted archery.

Domitian Olavsgaard |

Does Rurik want Everbloom's Rose - the +1 Morningstar that removes fear?
Also, does he want the Amulet of Natural Armor +1? Dom already has a similar bonus, and I think Rurik is often our other front-liner.
@GM Clebsch - Any chance someone in town can help us identify more properties of the Raven morningstar or the Elk Horn Crown?

Domitian Olavsgaard |

If you sold everything not so far claimed, the value would be 29,588, which divides to 4932 per person (including Khristov). But some items are too much for shops in Ellsprin to purchase, so if these are excluded, the value of items sold in the village would be 14,495, which is 2116 divided 6 ways.
If you want to include Nadya in the split, that is up to you. The values are totaled at the bottom of the spreadsheet. If you take something out of the sale list, delete the amount in the "Sale Value" column and place the name of the PC keeping the item. The totals will adjust after you make edits like this.
If you wanted to purchase one of the items in the shops listed in the Gameplay thread, you could trade items for their "sale value" which would increase the amount you have to spend.
Hey folks, way back a while ago, we figured out we could sell 14,495 gp in stuff. I propose we do that and buy anything we need. Because I effectively owe money, we can just divide this 4 ways among the rest of you, and call it a day. That's 3,626.75 for Rurik, Ingrit, Erland, and Damiano.
The rest of our loot can be sold at a bigger town.

Rurik Voralius |

Yes, I'll take the everbloom's rose. (Saves me the trouble of enchanting my morningstar later, anyway.)

Domitian Olavsgaard |

Cool. Erland, I think the Amulet of NA is yours.

Erland Frey |

Under 250gp, only takes 2 hrs. The icicle dagger and twilight haze spells are low enough level to be quick.
Stinking cloud can be 3rd.
Same as with potions, actually, so I can brew on day 1, you can scribe and we can set out day 3 AM.

Rurik Voralius |

DM, I'd like to try to get a specialized healer's satchel, cost 3k gp; will I need to wait 'til we're in Whitethrone, or could I pick one up while we're selling all the other goods?

Clebsch RoW |

I'm transitioning to a new term and teaching in the mornings again. I'll try to get back to you on these questions on Monday. Sorry for the delay.

Ingrit |

Handle Animal (Combat Training (DC 20)): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
An animal trained to bear a rider into combat knows the tricks attack, come, defend, down, guard, and heel.
I'll likely ride while traveling but dismount to track or during combat since I don't have mounted archery yet, but Wapiti van definitely fill in our front line.

That's not what page 552 (creating scrolls) of the player's says. You can only scribe a spell by day even it it takes you only two hours.

Ingrit |

Unfortunately yeah.
Time Required Scribing a scroll requires 1 day per 1,000 gp of the base price. Although an individual scroll might contain more than one spell, each spell must be scribed as a separate effort, meaning that no more than 1 spell can be scribed in a day.

Clebsch RoW |

My work schedule has shifted back to working days. The times I generally will not be able to post are from around 6 AM (American EST) to around 2 PM, Monday through Thursday. I suspect this will be my schedule for at least 4 months.

Clebsch RoW |

As outlined in this post, Ellsprin is a village so anything costing more than 500 gp is not available unless it is on the list of specific items for sale (which is in this post).

This is one of the sillier rules so if time were vital, I'd waive the 1 scroll/potion per day limit. But the group can spend some time in Ellsprin prepping for events to come, which can include time for Ingrit to train her animal companion. So don't worry about it; just figure the cost and move on.

Just noticed in the gameplay thread, we are approaching post # 3000. Impressive that we've been able to keep posting for so long. Congrats.

Erland Frey |

D20pfsrd link, scribe scroll: Dunno if this is a reprint issue or an errata
Archives of Nethys link: Official PRD link

Clebsch RoW |

I'll have a post up this afternoon, continuing things on the bridge.
By the way, the second link above is broken.

Erland Frey |

Why they switched the PRD off Paizo servers and into this Archives of Nethys place I'll never know.
Gah.
Anyways, point is moot, but apparently baby potions and scrolls can be made in 2 hrs, or 4 if done while adventuring.
Looking forward to some fun Level 5 power usage!

Ingrit |

Because Paizo ditched it in preparation for 2nd Ed, and Archives if Nethys is there to preserve the 1st ed stuff.

Erland Frey |

Oh I get that. I understand WHY they offloaded the PRD.
But keeping the files/links in some semblance of order, with a working site? Surely that cant be too difficult.
I dunno, the AoN site has never really worked for me, I default to d20pfsrd nowadays. That just means I have to double check sources and such, but at least the links work.

Clebsch RoW |

As I need to, I'm checking profiles to update some of my records that I use for keeping track of skill levels, initiative, saves, etc., so if you haven't updated your profile (and header data) with level 5 changes, do so at your earliest convenience. Thanks.

Clebsch RoW |

By chance did Damiano and Erland post their most recent Gameplay posts on Tuesday? I ask because I remember seeing someone drew a web graphic on the map but I did not see either posts of Damiano casting web or Erland's comment after that, so I deleted the web.
I just saw those posts this evening and I added my own web graphic. Then while I was processing the latest post (still in preview stage), I saw Erland's post. I had one post eaten by recently and had to recreate it and another GM had a similar post disappear. I suspect the program gremlins are up to something.

Clebsch RoW |

Before I forget, I want to grant every PC 1 hero point for their uncovering of the relics in the cave. There was lots of good teamwork and role play.

Erland Frey |

Yes, I did. Was in preparation of ensnaring the wolf and his buddies, but he got Nadya down and I had to reconsider my action.
Had access to my PC for a short time kidfree, so I could do things like actually edit maps. :)

Domitian Olavsgaard |

Woohoo! Thanks, Clebsch!
I just made a very complicated proposed action for my turn. If it's too complicated, I'm fine if you just change it to a regular attack on potion-drinker for the turn.

Ingrit |

Decisions, decisions. I can negate at least half of the damage Wapiti took, but that would leave him staring down the wolf with 7 hp and give up the attacks of opportunity, or let him go down pretty secure in the fact that being between the two people who can heal, he won't die.

Ingrit |

Rurik's player is away camping until Monday, but I'm sure a couple of channels to get everyone back in fighting shape would be his likely actions

Ingrit |

Who's still hurt?
Ingrit 47/48
Wapiti 24/38
