Hey folks -- ready to move on, but I'm getting concerned. We've lost Soraya and we've had some very infrequent posts. I try to post as often as I can but then I just feel like I am monopolizing the game. Dorick's been posting a great deal, and Francoix some. Other folks have been pretty scarce.

Is everyone still here, and ready to go? If you just feel like there is nothing for you to respond to, what would help? I remember when this game started it was mega-active and now it's a lot less involved. I think this is a really cool game with some great players so I'd had to see it fade into inactivity.

It is concerning to see things slow down so much.

To second, what might help things get moving faster again?

I was actually mulling this problem this morning, too, and was planning on raising the issue for discussion.

The two obvious options are to either recruit new players or to simply press forward with whomever is able to keep going.

I feel like we're at a bit of an impasse here; Kalig had proposed a wildcat hunt but I think we can handwave that especially as Mia has largely been M.I.A. and I was thinking she could throw some of her druidy stuff that is less Kalig's forte around. I think Kalig's only other plans as regards this plot was to take a bath and wash down Matilda. :)

Question/proposition/musing: So is Kalig aware of this expedition? She left before the sentencing was passed. :)

I presume most likely someone told her and that this is supposed to be the party's next venture.

However, I am also thinking--she is really worried about what other hidden revolutionaries may be in the town and also how the town is recovering from/reacting to this situation anyway. And so she might strongly be of a mind to stay behind. I'm not going anywhere but I don't mind taking a break.

I also feel like Kalig's also had a LOT to do in the last few adventures, and so I am also feeling inclined to step aside on this particular venture to be sure some our other regular players get some action. Mia will be with the party so it's not like you're without a druid. :) This said I also know our active party has gotten quite small (from its massive beginnings) so I don't want you to feel abandoned.

Would it be okay if Kalig stayed in town while the rest of you took care of the exile?

We certainly would have let Kalig know.

I don't think it would be an issue for Kalig to join the escort - or to stay if you think that would be a good safeguard.

As long as the party agrees, I will allow it, Kalig.
I also appreciate that you're being conscientious and ensuring that other players get their time to shine.

However, while the rest of the party escorts Hatha into exile, would you want to conduct a side encounter for Kalig while staying in Haven?

Dorick would have been sensible to follow Francoix's example and for similar reasons. But I bear in mind that Dorick has a very low wisdom and that does come up.

"Sick from the pandemic" is definitely "not okay." By all means please take your time and rest. I wasn't posting to be like "hey yall should be posting how dare you," I was posting to, well, ask if everyone was okay.

FWIW, I was tested a few weeks ago myself, due to several days of coughing and shortness of breath. I tested negative but self-quarantined just to be sure; "luckily" it seems to have been a case of my normally-mild asthma flaring up. It was disheartening and scary nonetheless to have to go get tested and remain in isolation for so long. I can't imagine how it must be to actually have it and hope you recover as soon as possible.
