Showing my work... :)
Appreciated, but unnecessary. Been playing along with Harrow since he was level 1. :)
__________The ceiling of this room rises in a dome to a height of 25 feet
__________
Davina recognizes that this creature is mostly a Kalavakus demon. But, like Valais, he has parts that don't really belong.

ROUND 2, CONTINUED
Harrow: Intimidate
Berosius: Life Link
Valais, who is still struggling with herself, does not have combat reflexes and does not make an attack of opportunity on Berosius.
Bad Guy: The not-entirely-but-mostly-kalavakus at the ceiling casts another spell.
Saving Throw: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Harrow feels his body tingle for a moment. Then nothing happens.
Valais: Without someone to talk her down, your ally seems to be losing her internal struggle. She attacks Quartz with her horns:
Gore: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25 Miss!
Davina: Go
Quartz: Go
Uthred: Go
Mareck: Go

That's true! It's been a really fun ride, and I attribute how much I like Harrow to playing in your games! :)
Harrow removes a potion from his bandolier and quaffs it, and soon the half-orc begins to hover off the ground. potion of fly
"Harrow not like demons that cut good paladins into pieces then turn it against us. Harrow say he going to kill you! And Harrow never lie!"
The half-orc's voice is so loud in his righteous indignation, that it penetrates the demon's mind painfully.

Whoa! That's a lot of actions! Drinking the potion is a standard. Do you have quickened metamagic to cast EPS?
Plus, we're still in round 2, you already intimidated the enemy.
__________
Davina channels against evil outsiders!
Will Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27, It makes its save
Channel Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 6) = 15, 7 HP damage.
Offended that the oracle would dare act against him, the creature growls with a mixture of rage and pain.
Quartz, Uthred, and Mareck are up!
Mareq Bolthune
|
The archon immediately fires beams of celestial energy at the demon.
Ray1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Ray2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 4
These rays bypass any/all DR.
Mareq Bolthune

Mareq stands adjacent to Harrow and casts Siphon Might from a scroll at the demon. (Fort DC14 half)
Strength drain: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
At the same time, Harrow receives the same amount of strength bonus. Lasts five rounds.

Spell Resistance: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Mareck's spell doesn't work. :-(
Quartz knows that the creature they face is mostly kalavakus. It also has a glabrezu’s arm. It probably has DR, immunities, and resistances.

Harrow retrieves his potion and quaffs it, knowing he will do no good here below.
Draw and drink potion of fly
Berosius
|
Little Berosius plants himself next to little Quartz and, clutching his silver rose, tries to add his voice to the gnome's.
"I have faith in you, Valais. The Everbloom will help you in your struggle to be free. Milani is there for everyone who wishes to break the chains that constrain them. Think of all you love and all who have sacrificed to help you. Just hang on!"

Am taking the liberty of saying that Berosius made his own separate check. :-)
1d20 ⇒ 16
So close!
Valais continues to struggle with herself.
__________
The creature near the ceiling roars: "Kneel before your god, Laktharis!"
Berosius Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Davina Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Harrow Will Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Mareck Will Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Quartz Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Uthred Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Unless Harrow, Mareck, and Uthred have something special going on, they must kneel at the start of their turn. I'm hand-waving the archon since it doesn't have the biology to kneel.
__________
Valais continues to struggle. She takes a 5-foot-step and claws at Quartz:
Claw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24, I think, with all of his buffs, that misses.
__________
Round 3, continued
Harrow: Potion of fly
Berosius: Diplomacy Valais
Bad Guy: Greater Command
Valais: Attack
Davina: Go!
Quartz: Go!
Uthred: Go!
Mareck: Go!

She holds aloft her holy symbol again and flicks away her long blonde hair from in front of her eye. She casts. (sacred space) centered on the demon
"We will NOT knell demon! The power of the Dawnflower is strong!"
Uthred Wartooth
|
"you know what... that is a pretty good idea considering all that has happened recently...will probably kill me though..."
Uthred mutters out after being commanded and takes a knee right where he is located...
Mareq Bolthune
|
The archon fires beams of celestial energy at the demon. Due to the sorcerous enhancement from Mareq, it is able to squeeze out an additional attack.
Ray1: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 17 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Ray2: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 = 19 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Ray3: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Ray4: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 1 = 21 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Haste grants an extra attack. The archon's attack is a double beam. So that's a total of four. Unless the archon's attack is a single beam which it can do twice per round for some reason? In which case the Haste would only grant ONE extra beam?
Mareq Bolthune
|
Mareq, the archon, Quartz, Uthred and Harrow are all hasted.
- One extra attack with one natural or manufactured weapon;
- +1 bonus on attack rolls;
- +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves;
- movement increased by 30 feet
Recall that Quartz, Uthred and Harrow are Hasted.
Mareq Bolthune
|
Mareq struggles to remain standing, but eventually fails, to his undying shame. Upon one knee, he casts his power forth and upward at the creature.

Davina calls upon divine power to weaken her enemy.
Uthred, still low on Charisma, provides his unique color commentary on the action.
Quartz tries to assist Valais, but his words come out awkwardly as he fights the effect of Laktharis' spell.
Mareck casts a spell and his Archon attacks. The archon does quite a bit of damage.

Yes, haste grants an extra attack. :-) But, as I understand it, this is a single extra attack. For example, a high level two-weapon fighter (or flurrying monk) only gets one extra attack, not double their number of attacks.
Laktharis is now down 18 HP from full.
__________
Daze Monster only affects creatures up to 7 Hit Dice. Laktharis remains unaffected by Mareck's spell. :-(

Note that Mareq receives a +1 bonus vs. divine spells for this entire scenario.

Note that Mareq receives a +1 bonus vs. divine spells for this entire scenario.
:-) I'll leave it up to each of you (Harrow, Mareck, Uthred) to roll your Will Saves on your turn. It'll last for 10 rounds; you have 9 saves remaining to attempt to break free. In the meantime, however, you must kneel before Laktharis.
The text of the spell says that the caster must do one of the following: approach, drop, fall, flee, halt. But the scenario says that Laktharis orders you to kneel; I presume for flavor. So, I am treating this as the "fall" command in terms of the game mechanic. You are, essentially prone. You must remain prone for each round that you fail your will save, but may otherwise act normally whilst prone.
Harrow Tatterhood

Sputtering with righteous indignation, Harrow has no choice but to take a knee.

I just got back home from PaizoCon. Thanks for your patience with my delays. :-)
Valais Save: 1d20 ⇒ 1 (Ugh! Sorry, Berosius!)
Valais seems unable to snap out of the effect.
__________
Laktharis waves his hand imperiously at Harrow, again.
Harrow Save: 1d20 ⇒ 1 (Wow. Two ones in a row. It's gonna be one of those days...)
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
The half-orc is lifted up bodily, hurled into the hallway, and takes 6 HP of damage as he smacks into the wall! (I've moved Harrow will will need to make another will save at the START of his next turn.)
__________
Valais attacks:
1d20 ⇒ 2, Miss!

Mareq attempts to rise, despite the demon's command.
Will save: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 13
Unable to rise, he instead casts Cat's Grace upon his lantern archon ally.
The archon fires beams of celestial energy at Laktharis again!
Ray1: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 19 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Ray2: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 19 Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Round 5
Harrow Will Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Harrow continues to kneel, though he may make a standard action. From prone. Out in the hallway.
Berosius, you're up now, also.
