Thak you for hosting this game.
I've been looking forward to playing a solo game. I update my new equipment and send you a pm of my character description, he looks pretty "interesting" so that could be an important note.

DM Alaion |

A little katapesh information and context for you. :)
Katapesh currency is copper grains, silver pennies, gold scarabs, and platinum genies.
Pesh whey is liquid and the cheapest, often put in tea. Raw pesh is solid, commonly smoked or less commonly eaten plain. Refined pesh is malleable. It can be eaten, rolled into leaves for smoking, or added to drinks. But like the raw stuff it is commonly smoked.
P.S. When you get a chance update your character sheet. I spotted a few errors and your gear package isn't implemented yet.

Jawahar Raktavira |

Sorry about that, I was in a rush to get him done. And I got back a little later, I will fix him up within the current hour.

DM Alaion |

No problem I just wanted to know which way you wanted to go with. In case you had something in mind or planned I didn't want to steamroll over it out of hand. Anyways your the only player so you can draw things out if you like, we are not on a schedule or anything. ;D
I'll post the next day later and we'll move on.

DM Alaion |

Akorian basically already admitted that Budi's father once served him and retired of his own accord. With enough wealth to actually build a home and make use of an island that Akorian gave him. If you pick up on the time of service between the son and father to Akorian, the guy is easily over 70 years old. Not that he looks anywhere pass his prime. ;)
He killed Budi for betrayal not because the punk wanted to quit. He even let him get away with small time embezzlement for years, he was just letting you know that he was not being fooled by Budi. So he didn't kill him for being a thief, he killed him for being disloyal. As long as he did his job and didn't stick his hand to deep in the cookie jar, Akorian had no problem. It was because he helped a rival mess up one of his plans in exchange for a bribe that got him in the hot seat.

Jawahar Raktavira |

I had to ask, I wasn't sure if the relation was a flying dutch type of thing. Like his years of service granted him freedom and an island.

DM Alaion |

Nah Akorian's servants are reptilian and such because that's what he prefers to surround himself with. If he never let anyone go once they work for him he would just buy slaves, mercs, or constructs. But besides the constructs that would not fit with his values of loyalty.
Anyways you now have 500 gp worth of coin. Do you have any plans or just shopping? Also do you want to RP the shopping or just jump to your next appointment?
Regardless I'm going to need a list here of what you want to buy. :)

Jawahar Raktavira |

there is absolutely no need to rp the shopping unless you want to throw in a special event/random encounter.
As for good, I want to buy: two spring loaded sheaths, Silken ceremonial robes(colours are orange and black), 4 alchemist fires in metal flasks ( I will pay extra for it, 2 lbs of tobacco and let me know what you'd price a hookah.
Lastly, I forgot to pick my drawback and trait. Would you allow me to take the trait quick learner that I showed you for Dorn?

DM Alaion |

Sorry it's pass the deadline, no extra trait. Nah just screwing with you. Both are fine. ;P
You get everything on your list except the Hookah sense you can't afford it. Didn't know pathfinder even had one until I looked it up. Anyways you have 348 gp and 4 sp left from the 500 gp.
I'll post an update later.

DM Alaion |

Akorian's Necklace grants you +1 to your saves. Along with a 1/day use of false life (CL 5).
I'll post an update in the morning, just wanted to give you the stats on it now. Please keep your sheet up to date as it's going to get more use soon. I notice you missing the extra trait I gave you at a glance, as well as your new trait and drawback. (ominous music starts to play) :D

Jawahar Raktavira |

*university flashbacks PTSD style*
I was at the gym I swear. Honestly I feel like I owe you protection money but I'm just a bit short. :0

DM Alaion |

I left the contents of the pouch vague on purpose. It in fact has no coin, it has gems. Allows more value without taking up as much space as an equal value of coins would. Even magical containers have a set limit of space.
Try to hire or buy something and you'll get more of a sense of what you can and can not do. This time their were be haggling and information gathering involved as it is an island. Wagons and carts are not something you need made constantly as such. Also being a pirate port, sellswords come and go. Regulars on the island tend to already have full time employers.
If you insist on having a set value let me know and I will get back to you after I do a little research. I don't know the cost off the top of my head.

Jawahar Raktavira |

Sorry I was out for the day, I will post in the morning/noon.
I will take 20 on appraisal burning an hour or so and then Jawahar will seek guidance, no place better than the temple of Abadar, his old home.

Jawahar Raktavira |

Don't worry about it, I've been busy anyways.
Perhaps I should of worded it better. Akorian wanted me to get wagons for the spice merchants, I was assuming(blame on me) that he wouldn't but the wagons on his ships. I was thinking that he wanted me to set them up and merchants would be placed on ships with the understanding of where they needed to have their supplies delivered to.
If there was a misunderstanding, that one is on me.

DM Alaion |

Well I'll clear it up then. :)
Akorian wants you to bring his spice shipment to him. He has given you enough money to pay for the shipment, hire guards to protect it, and transport it. He suggested you use wagons but he is not ordering you to. As long as you get the shipment to him, he does not care how.
He suggested wagons sense that is the easiest and fastest way to transport a large shipment of goods across Okeno from deeper in the city to the docks. If you can think up another method, more power to you.
Any questions or something I missed?

Jawahar Raktavira |

I was getting filled getting filled with ink today, so couldn't update. I will make up for it soon.
and yeah, black friday can literally be murder.

Jawahar Raktavira |

Sorry if I leave my updates open ended, I'm never too sure if you want to send random encounters at me,etc. I'm doing to hire guards, those of ill repute, ones that do as tasked and won't ask too many questions as well as some recommended by the Church of Abadar. Since the church is neutral there should a pool of neutral and lawful evil types.
After that I will head down to the shipyard to have the wagons built and if there is enough time hunt down the merchant(s).

Jawahar Raktavira |

Honestly I wasn't if you'd want me roll double damage or simply multiply it. I've had DMS do both methods. Maybe bad system mastery?
